Well you wouldnt like it anyways lol petes not in this one
Honestly, I didn't like Pete that much. Saint is cute, but Pete was not irreplaceable. I think Perth did the best acting job with Ae's character, he was somehow the force that pulled the couple Pete and Ae forward throughout the season. Mean was another impressive young actor as well, I liked his acting in both LBC1 and Until We Meet Again (that's airing), but I couldn't bear myself to ship his character (Tin) with Can... the duo seemed ridiculously mismatched to me. A Pete/Tin match would have pleased me more *feeling helpless* All in all, I think I better not watch season 2, I fear to destroy the tiny pieces I appreciated from season 1 (I learned my lesson from Thai sequels). I can always rewatch Reminders to soothe my disappointment lol
I watched 12 episodes in 24 hours, I think this speaks for itself. I liked the series, but I think I'd have liked it more ten years ago. I am particularly fond of the intrigue and the flashbacks (although messy sometimes) give all the meaning to the storyline, but the latter (the storyline) is rather weak. I know it targets a younger audience, it's not supposed to answer metaphysical and existential questions, so--taking this point into consideration--I'd say that it's well-done. The script is coherent and the scenes well-woven, there's confusion nowhere for once. The acting was good; Nine and Earth (Korn & Intouch) are my favorite duo. The only thing I didn't like was the general cast, I'd have prefered to see new faces (and to see new people given a chance to play), I don't say that their acting was bad, it's just that a show is always more convincing when the actors are new. Maybe... one of the reasons why I liked Intouch more than Pharm (My Bromance is still too fresh in my mind, fresher than LBC, sorry Fluke!) and didn't appreciate the side story much.
I see that this series is adapted from a novel. If anyone can tell me the title of the original novel and its author's name. I'd also like to know who wrote the script of the series, I'd like to watch/read more of their works!
I will start watching it now. I've been on a break for months because of a few, BIG, disappointments. This better be good, otherwise I'll go on strike lol
I don't expect less from a Japanese movie, they seem to often carry a hidden moral. I just hope the pace is not too slow because the recipe "open ending + slow pace" does most of the time lead to a fiasco lol
I haven't watched it yet but I'll do it in the upcoming days. An open ending? That's regrettably what I expected from the plot. An open ending could be good depending on quality of the storyline and the intrigue, but most of the time it just makes things worse alas :/
And now I can't stop thinking about Addicted... It's likely that the second season will be created by Taiwan production.…
That's another rumor, I haven't heard about it but now that I read it from you, I don't believe it. I prefer not to believe it and see it come true rather than believing it and ending up disappointed.... again. Moreover, Addicted can't be Addicted without the cast, so if they intend to do it, they are well-advised to bring the same cast! *crosses fingers in secret* lol
Love how everyone is still 'possessed' by Addicted and Advance Bravely... and how the lessons seem to be learned! Let's be sceptic people, you are right *-* Who knows what tragedy will touch the main characters and/or the crew this time...... *sighs heavily*
Someone was trolling on the cast list. The Sotus actors were never going to play the parts, the cast line up wasn't…
Oh! Thanks for the warning. Some jokes aren't funny at all and that person played us. Now that the cast is no longer the full cast of Sotus, I might watch this drama indeed. Too bad for all the hysterical Sotus fangirls below lol
So, I was thinking of starting this drama, since everyone says it's so good, but I wanted to ask, is this really…
@Estelll Just watch the drama and read the novels afterwards. It's cut in the middle, it's true, but it's the only incomplete drama that I will never regret having watched. The proof, three years later, I am still coming back to it. Once you watch it, it won't be hard for you to imagine the season 2 while reading the novel. Hope my advice helps :)
My wish came true. I wanted a "reminder" for Make it Right and here we are *-* I hope it won't disappoint though!
I watched the first episode and it was boring as hell. There was no intrigue. They would have saved some cash and spared our time if they just published photos of the actors and how they look today. Fuse (Peak) is still as cute as before and Tee (Boom) hasn't changed at all. The "series"? Pointless!
Love Sick or the best way to feel old when you aren't. It's been 5 years already from season 1... what a blow! Yet I can't wait for season 3, I want my squid couple back asap lol
All in all, I think I better not watch season 2, I fear to destroy the tiny pieces I appreciated from season 1 (I learned my lesson from Thai sequels). I can always rewatch Reminders to soothe my disappointment lol
