is dyson an expensive brand? i know nothing about that kinda stuff lmao
I'm a doc and I bought my hairdryer from a thrift store a couple of years ago. There's no such a thing as doctors systematically possessing expensive things.

Another "Fake it until you make it" type of drama... Well, if I'm bored to death, I might give it a chance. Otherwise, I'll leave it on the side for now.

The description is everything I like and I'm really inspired to watch it.... BUT, I have a bad feeling that doesn't go away. I think I won't like it in the end.
Just a hunch. Let's find out!

Im also not into this horror genre either, but im shallow and sticking around for the Shaman. I also like Khem…
There's no such a thing as not being allowed to express your opinion. It's more like being, or not being , strong-minded enough to deal with those "obsessed fans", as you named them, and sticking to one's words.
Personally, I don't care. I share my opinion whether it's positive or negative. It's criticism that moves productions, if not civilizations, forward. Bootlicking is a token of stagnation :)

So am I the only one or does Naran kind of look like young Jake Gyllenhaal?
He looked familiar but I couldn't tell. But now that I read your comment, I think he looks a bit like Jake. There's an air of resemblance.

Well, well, well... Isn't that disappointing?! I've been waiting for this series for... I don't know how long. I saw suspense in the tags and was pretty excited, and the trailer wasn't bad. I thought the plot was too clichΓ© but I liked the trailer and wanted to watch it... and then I watched the first episode.... not what I expected, in a bad way.
BUT, in this case, it's not the production's fault. It's just a matter of taste; I don't like dark BL-type dramas with a mix of action, horror and spirituality. It's not my cup of tea at the moment. If it's yours, go for it, the visual effects are excellent and the actors talented! πŸ‘πŸ»

Wow!
Definitely on the upward curve at the moment. I thought I really liked the first episode but... this second episode impressed me no less. And the final scene was EPIC.
The second couple stole the show every time they were on screen. They made me forget there was another story behind it. Bravo!
Both plots hit the nail on the head. I identify with Tanwa and Trin's story on a very intimate level, but I'm no less moved by Naran and Krailert's story. So far, their story is the story of every gay couple from the 1920s-1990s, and of many gays today.
I'm beginning to think that 8 episodes won't be enough to tell both stories. I hope they don't leave us hanging with the last episode, I don't have an ounce of patience left. πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

This friend was my grandfather's partner. Being gay myself, he is the person I feel the closest to since my grandpa passed away. He understands me and gives me spot-on advice.
And age is just a number. Whether is it with love or friendship, it doesn't matter to me ;)

I hope this series can also give you some comfort. Please leave a review at the end if you've time, I would like…
Thanks. I always leave a final comment or a review, the length of the review will depend on the quality of the series. But, my reviews tend to be longer when my opinion is negative...lol

I don't know how to say it...

I watched the first episode with my gay friend who's 93, I thought he'd enjoy it. And he did. He remembered his younger days and really appreciated the sequence in French, as he speaks the language.

But if it was an interesting discovery for my friend, it was a heartbreaking one for me. I didn't expect the first episode to be like this... it brought back memories I thought I'd buried deep. If I hadn't held back, I would have cried my eyes out.

I can say without a doubt that Shine is the Thai series I identify with most so far. I hope it doesn't disappoint me, because I'll definitely be DISAPPOINTED this time if it doesn't live up to its promise.

NB. Thanks for Tanwa, finally a character with long hair. We guys with long hair aren't represented enough.

As the other commenter wrote, there was no cheating. Akira brought their relationship to an official end before…
Not gonna bother reading your long-winded gibberish.

When I watched the first episode, I thought that GMMTV started learning from past mistakes. The episodes 4 and 5 proved me wrong. It's just a succession of faulty details that make the whole thing indigestible. You guys at GMMTV should stop milking the audience with recycled leads and dime store scripts, it's getting absurd. As for me, the next time I'll just skip your shows, I've got no time for mediocrity. It would take a lot more than a below average flop to impress me.

Who's the genius who wrote the description of this series? That's a type of negligence that can ruin a production.

I've got three good reasons to watch this and they've nothing to do with the trailer.
And this better deliver on all its promises. Period dramas and biopics are my specialty, and the gay-themed ones even more so, I'll be pitiless in case of disappointment.
