Just watched the final episode. It wasn't that bad, maybe GMMTV's best BL so far. But, I'm disappointed by the ending. The ending doesn't match the title and the logic of the plot. Can do better!
Only three episodes left and I know already that they can't wrap up everything in the three remaining episodes. Miracles are possible, though.
When I watched the first episode, I was instantly hooked as I related on a very intimate level with Trin and Tanwa's story, I knew someone like Tanwa and the episode just threw me down memory lane. But as the episodes pilled up, it's the other couple's story that fascinates me on an artistic level. If I have to make a top 5 list of the most convincing gay couples in Asian series, these two would be on the list. Chemistry, good acting, good writing... and aesthetically very suited for each other, I like them and I hope they won't create a stupid show afterwards just to give them their own series, I think it's unnecessary, unless it's to dive deeper into this same plot.
Mile looks gorgeous with long hair, I think he should keep it long, it brings out the best contours of his face.. he can trust a long-haired gay man when he gives compliments on hair.
NB. The actor who plays Victor is a fine young man. Easily the most handsome and photogenic of them all. He's got a face to play a wide range of roles, from hero to villain, he'd be perfect.
There's no man at home and I'm still eating up this series.Boc shows are incomplete without cheating plus the…
Cheating is a big word with different meanings. I think people are being dishonest when they call out the gays' cheating and overlook the society's cheating. Favoritism, condoning when sexual orientation and fighting another, is also cheating. If the society wasn't what it was, no "cheating" would have taken place.
Not a good idea to watch this series if you don't have a man at home. Episode 4 "surprised" me quite a bit. I wonder if it could get any steamier after this...
NB: About the "cheating". Before blaming them, live 24 hours in their shoes. It's so easy to be virtuous when you're in front of your screen!
yeah, when they were practicing...."pooonte" haha, but hey, I can't speak thai very well either so...
@TexanTitan Exactly, that's one of the most hilarious in my opinion. I didn't expect it. However, he pronounces "Cahier de notes" nearly perfectly, if he only learned for the show, it's impressive.
same as English in every other bl. no big deal for me though.
@TianQi Same. I'm used to Vietnamese people speaking French. First time ever I hear the Thai accent. It wasn't bad, it made the series a lot funnier, especially Mek and Dech's pronunciations.
I watched 8 episodes. Not bad, better than I expected. I'm glad to see that GMMTV is listening to the fans. I just have to add that I noticed several inconsistencies with the historical reconstitution of the setting. And the French language (which I'm fluent in) had me in stitches at times. Some pronunciations were hilarious.
is dyson an expensive brand? i know nothing about that kinda stuff lmao
I'm a doc and I bought my hairdryer from a thrift store a couple of years ago. There's no such a thing as doctors systematically possessing expensive things.
Another "Fake it until you make it" type of drama... Well, if I'm bored to death, I might give it a chance. Otherwise, I'll leave it on the side for now.
The description is everything I like and I'm really inspired to watch it.... BUT, I have a bad feeling that doesn't go away. I think I won't like it in the end. Just a hunch. Let's find out!
Im also not into this horror genre either, but im shallow and sticking around for the Shaman. I also like Khem…
There's no such a thing as not being allowed to express your opinion. It's more like being, or not being , strong-minded enough to deal with those "obsessed fans", as you named them, and sticking to one's words. Personally, I don't care. I share my opinion whether it's positive or negative. It's criticism that moves productions, if not civilizations, forward. Bootlicking is a token of stagnation :)
Wow! Definitely on the upward curve at the moment. I thought I really liked the first episode but... this second episode impressed me no less. And the final scene was EPIC. The second couple stole the show every time they were on screen. They made me forget there was another story behind it. Bravo! Both plots hit the nail on the head. I identify with Tanwa and Trin's story on a very intimate level, but I'm no less moved by Naran and Krailert's story. So far, their story is the story of every gay couple from the 1920s-1990s, and of many gays today. I'm beginning to think that 8 episodes won't be enough to tell both stories. I hope they don't leave us hanging with the last episode, I don't have an ounce of patience left. π³οΈβπ

woah?! he's 93 year old and your friend?so, how old are you?been a long time since i heard of someone this old,…
This friend was my grandfather's partner. Being gay myself, he is the person I feel the closest to since my grandpa passed away. He understands me and gives me spot-on advice. And age is just a number. Whether is it with love or friendship, it doesn't matter to me ;)
I hope this series can also give you some comfort. Please leave a review at the end if you've time, I would like…
Thanks. I always leave a final comment or a review, the length of the review will depend on the quality of the series. But, my reviews tend to be longer when my opinion is negative...lol

BUT, in this case, it's not the production's fault. It's just a matter of taste; I don't like dark BL-type dramas with a mix of action, horror and spirituality. It's not my cup of tea at the moment. If it's yours, go for it, the visual effects are excellent and the actors talented! ππ»
