Lol that's just how asian guys are represented in dramas even in kdrama it's the same. What to do now 😂🤷
That's, indeed, a big factor and cinema isn't fixing the problem at all. It's creating a self-conscious society full of physical complexes and mental disorders.

Thanks for your suggestions but I watched all the movies you recommended already [Holding the Man is in my top 10 favorite gay movies and books ever]. I'm indeed always more interested in watching gay shows with manly, as you say, actors. I hate the image they've woven of gay people in cinema. Not just the sissy part, but the idea that gay men don't do long-term relationships, that they're all about sex and drugs. We aren't all junkies and I prefer the gay movies with values. I can recommend these shows if you want (as payment for your recommendations): - Firebird - Fellow Travelers - Charlatan - Out in the Dark - Rustin - Pride - Drawn Back Home - Spartacus (Agron and Nasir) - Fair Haven - 911 Lonestar (TK and Carlos) - From Beginning to End (There's incest but the storyline is a gem) - Schitt's Creek (David and Patrick) - Big Eden - The Bird Cage (silly but worth it.) - Hidden Kisses - Potato Dreams of America - The Circle - Little Ashes - Eismayer - The Lord of the Ants... etc. My favorite Asian gay movies are: - Two Weddings and a Funeral - The Wedding Banquet - Beautiful Boxer - Formula 17 - A Frozen Flower - How to Win at Checkers (my favorite Asian gay movie) - Your Name Engraved Herein - The Blossoming of Massimo Oliveros - Rainbow Boys (I wish Thailand kept making movies like that..) - Amphetamine (my favorite storyline in the list)...etc.

I lived in different Asian countries when I was a kid, and I still travel there once a year. I've seen some gorgeous guys there and I can't forget their unique features; it's a pity their image is wronged for the sake of drama. And watching these shows... I'm 6'7 for 285lbs, I already feel like a creep talking about those girlish guys. I hope they'll make more gay shows with real guys from the streets, not just those diapers princes.
Who the hell are you? The PC's spokesperson or their attorney? No? So... skedaddle! The comments section is democratized, everyone is free to share their opinion.
What the hell is this? I'm definitely living under a rock. 10 years ago, I knew everything, every show, every release date... and now I'm going from a surprise to another. I watched Love Sick with White, Captain, August and Ngern in 2014. This better be good after a decade.. which I think is unlikely. This will be as bad as Addicted 2024.
I saw it coming. I'm not surprised at all.. albeit I didn't see him dating Tul, five years ago. There was a fierce debate back then about who was really into men and who was just acting. And I remember very well that I said "Mew and Tul for sure. And I suspect Zee." It's always a good thing to see people, whether they're showbiz personalities or not, live their lives as they mean them. Being out and proud should be the natural right of everyone!
I used to know everything going on and hear about every show or movie way before it airs... That was the past.…
In the end, I didn't miss out on much. The storyline was unimpressive and the outcome predictable. The acting wasn't at its best at all. And the chemistry between the leads was questionable. It felt like History series regressed with this fifth season.
I used to know everything going on and hear about every show or movie way before it airs... That was the past. I never heard about this series. I was waiting for History 5 and didn't hear anything about it. Adulthood, responsibilities and life as it is... they all suck. Gonna watch it right away, for once I have time. I didn't read the comments below, just the description.. I hope it won't disappoint.
Pretty decent Thai gay series for once. I'd choose this one, any time, over all the crappy BL series released this year. I watched the leads in "To Sir, With Love" before, another good production, but, I preferred them in this one a lot more. Their delivery of their dialogues was more sincere and convincing in Law of Attraction albeit their acting in itself was spot-on in both series. Underrated show that proves once again that the general public is just a mass of Influenceable zombies.
Um...yes you can and its concerning that you can't tell the difference between a barely teenaged BOY and a FULL…
@Tajia. Understand my comment first and reply afterwards. And attacking my person, oh-so-nicely, by judging my eyesight tells me enough about your character.
The first episode wasn't bad at all. I didn't get the Chinese version's vibes but it wasn't as hopeless as I anticipated it to be. It lacks depth and humor, sophistication as well, and it's definitely not gonna rival the first adaptation in any aspect, but it's watchable as it is. I'll just pretend it's not Addicted.. The cast foretold the consequence anyway.

I can't watch these sappy shows when I look like an ogre. Target audience for this: Under 14 y.o girls.
