One of the screenwriters has actually worked on some pretty good shows, but the other screen writer has worked on nothing but garbage. However, personally I think the director is the one at fault here. The pacing is all off, how the actors are acting is weird, and the overall vibe of the show is just strange. The writers also did have to work around Covid, JimmyTommy dropping out, and the entire chain of events of the whole show being basically reversed. So I'm giving them some sympathy for that.

It's a pilot? It's not meant to be over the top expensive, or be super plot heavy. It's meant to gage interest to they can get sponsored, and get people excited. All I know is 1) that the production house working on the show has produced the highest rated bl of all time 2) that Yin and War are great actors and are heavily involved in the creation of this show 3) that I'd take a "be gay do crime" themed show over engineers with guitars anyday.

This show is a great show if you never had a wattpad phase at fourteen, or just never grew out of that wattpad phase.....

Also, if hear one more person call Pai a green flag, I will flip my top. Coercing some one into sexual relations, stalking, invasion of privacy, etc, are all very much red flag behavior. Him punching a bad guy, and winning the fight over his inner demons to not assult Sky when he is sick, doesn't redeem him.

Very late reply. I and many other queer people interpreted the scene with the bra (which btw is his moms not his) not as him questioning his gender, but him half wishing he was a girl because his feelings for Teh would be so much easier to deal with if he were a girl, and he could like Teh without the judgment of society. Those feelings were only compacted because when Teh was feeling him up, he kept groping his chest like he would do to a girl.

It's meant to be slow. It's a historical romance, not a rom com, or an over the top dramatic college show. As for it being boring, that is entirely a matter of opinion. I didn't think it was boring at all. The skip button was not touched once while I watched it.

I did! I really liked the first 3/4ths of the show, but the ending just felt a bit weak to me and I kinda lost interest.

My others are My School President, Moonlight Chicken, I Feel You Linger in the Air, and Last Twilight.

I wanted to like this so badly, but it was just so meh and boring. Not only was the storyline just not it for me, but I just am not a big fan of office romances anyway. Really the only thing I liked about it was that it was Sapphic.

I will be honest, so many series were massive letdowns this year, and I was running out of hope that I would find one more show that I would feel good about putting in my top five bls of the year, but I think I finally found the fifth one. This show is already so interesting and I am completely hooked. I can't wait to see what happens!

While I can't say I'm really enjoying the show so far, I 100% agree with what you are saying. The top/bottom discorce should have died years ago. I'm beyond sick of having to comment some variation of "it doesn't matter" when people start asking whos the top or bottom in shows, of ships, etc.

While this ep wasn't as cringe as past episodes, it was just all boring filler content. Like character development wise, nothing happened. They tried to do a romantic fluffy filler episode, but because Jade was still hung up on thinking Mai likes Gus, none of the "romantic" moments hit like they should have. That and their idea of creating a romantic feel good moment is just turning the scene into a mini music video. If I wanted to go watch an MV I would, stop trying to insert them into shows. The five seconds of King, and Jades little sister were the best parts of the episode.

You know, normally in a show the first episode is the weakest and it gets better as the show progresses. Not this show! This show decided to break the mold and get worse every episode! Props to the creators for taking the risk and going with such a new and interesting concept🙄😑

I honest to goodness think 2gether was only popular because Bright and Win are good looking. And as I am mostly attracted to women, and neither Bright or Win are my type when it comes to men, there were no rose colored glasses for me watching this show. Don't get me wrong it's not a "bad" show, but it really wasn't up to the standard for the amount of hype it got. It's just average and forgettable.

I need to see what the screenplay was before the director got his hands on it. Because based on the previous (and current) projects from this director, he is allergic to cohesive storylines.

This is not a dramatic over the top show, and is kind of a slow burn. I would suggest you keep watching because it keeps getting better and better.
