Was looking forward to this show, but dropped it at episode 8. It had a interesting start, but it really started falling off around episode 6. I am a big fan of First and Khao, and they were the main reasons I started this show. However despite their phenomenal acting skills, I could care less about their characters. In fact the only character I ended up liking even a little bit was Fadel. The story overall felt very low stakes. There was so much dark subject matter teeming under the surface that should have been explored more, but was brushed off to focus on the comedy and romance. And don't get me wrong, I love comedy and a good romance, but if you are going to do a comedy thriller you need to very carefully balance those elements. 'Oh No! Here Comes Trouble' is a great example of a well balanced comedy thriller. I laughed and cried every episode of that show and it never felt like emotional whiplash. In 'The Heart Killers' I laughed a couple times and didn't cry at all. Overall I felt disappointed. I don't know who JoJo had on the writing teams for '3 Will Be Free' and 'The Warp Effect', but they need to be brought back asap because the writing in this show was a big letdown.

Edit: Just looked at the writing team for this show and it's the same writing team for Pit Babe...... Yeah, unfortunately that tracks.

Thank you for your kind and very intelligent words. I think the conversation of privilege is such an important and interesting topic. There is a quote whose essence I think is very pertinent to this greater conversation of privilege. "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket". To rephrase it into the context of this mess of a conversation; if you can convince gay people that bisexual people are their enemy, they won't notice themselves being oppressed by the same oppressor. In this modern world, the power structure is made by rich cis-het men to benefit rich cis-het men. All any minority infighting does is benefit those in power. United we stand, divided we fall. Nothing will ever change for the better for any of us unless we stick together and hold each other up.

Honestly, from the spoilers I got I thought the "penguin" scene would hit a bit harder. It just didn't have as much of the emotional build up I thought it would. I mean despite being kidnapped, having a ptsd episode, and having no clue what happened to his brother, Kant was still kinda goofing off. And don't get me wrong, Khao and First did an incredible job with the acting, but the writing could be improved significantly.

This show gives me cuteness aggression. Like it has no right being so flippin adorable.

Dear god are you just willfully stupid, or do you practice? Calling bi people "opportunists"..... Wow.... Have you ever actually spent time with a bi person? Also I love that you consider being in a homosexual relationship a matter of "principle". Because most people don't consider being in a relationship some kind of moral obligation. Sounds like you have some internal stuff you need to work out with a therapist.

How are bi people "safe" or "privileged"??? If you think bi people don't experience homophobia you are sorely mistaken. Also the majority of bi people do not "choose" to "engage" in straight passing relationships, straight people are simply the majority and therefore bi people are statistically more likely to find an opposite gender partner. Not to mention some gay people will chose to be in "straight" relationships and many are straight passing as well? You are trying to act like bi people are somehow the enemy, when the real enemy is homophobic bigots and heteronormativity which negitively effect us all.

Wow, so many words to just say you hate bi/pan/fluid people. You are claiming bi people have some sort of privilege, while proving exactly why they don't. Straight people think they are gay and in denial, and gay people think they are just straight and trying to be special. (I won't even comment on the poly thing as I don't have any experiences with them, nor do I feel comfortable speaking for them). Here is a thought! It's 2024! Stop trying to police other people and their experiences. If you don't like shows with bi and/or poly people in them, don't watch them, and take your odd puritain views somewhere else.

Okay, I think it has been long enough since this aired that I can ask this. Pit Babe enjoyers, why do you like this show? Like genuinely..... I want to understand because I don't get the hype at all tbh.

I agree that people are allowed to like or dislike whatever they want. However, OP was being a hater just to be a hater and had no constructive things to say. There is also no rule against me pointing out that the kind of shows they seem to enjoy are objectively, to be completely frank, trash. You can like trash all you want, but don't go around to other things and hate on them just because they aren't your vibe.

So far, this is easily the best thing Domundi has put out since Cutie Pie. It's cute, fluffy, and just puts a smile on my face. Hopefully the rest of the show keeps up the vibes and quality from the first 3 episodes.

Clearing out my watch list, and saw I forgot to mark this as dropped. Anyway for people wondering if you show start this, it started strong, and then started taking a spectacular nosedive by ep 4, and I couldn't even be bothered to continue by the end of ep 6. This show couldn't decide whether it wanted to be a thriller, romance, or a comedy. So it decided to be all three at random intervals, like a badly done collage by a three year old. The only redeeming thing this show had was the cast, but the writing and directing was so bad it even made Ohm look like a inexperienced rookie. 6.5/10 because the first three eps were decent, and them chemistry was good.

If you are looking for a sweet romance, this isn't for you. But if you are looking for a realistic look at the life of a gay man in a conservative country, this is an absolute masterwork.

I agree with you. This was easily the weakest episode, but the kiss scene at the end is clearly distracting some people from realizing that lmao.

His acting is actually pretty good for a rookie, however some of the directors & editors choices are making it seem like it isn't.

Small pet peeve, I need them to stop making random music videos in the middle of episodes with clips we just saw. It's actually starting to drive me crazy. It worked in MSP because it was a show about music, and they were parodying/covering lots of songs, it doesn't work here.

Edit: Another pet peeve, the neon orange "bruises". I need them to put down the blush, and hire someone who specializes in wound makeup or special effects makeup, because I am sick or the same three orange "bruises" anytime a character in one of their shows gets punched.

You rated LITA, Sunset X Vibes, and HIStory 4 higher than this show...... Sorry but you don't get to have an opinion when you rate some of the worst BLs ever made higher than this. I won't even get into my personal opinions, but even from a technical standpoint this show has better writing, acting, audio quality, and cinematography than all of those shows.

Considering she has only had five minutes of screen time and we basically have no information on her at this point, I'm going to call it as I see it and say that this comment reeks of misogyny.

Shout out to Dee Hup for just destroying the production game recently. I Feel You Linger In the Air, My Stand-in and Jack & Joker all back to back is insane. No one is doing it like them right now.
