Amazing theory. But what do you think about the situation where jin saw teacher kreng covered in blood in the…
I'm honestly not quite sure yet. I think I need more information about Kru Keng and the aftermath of the video leak to form solid theory on the events at the temple.
Rewatching the first couple episodes knowing what we know now is insane. In ep 7 we establish that Jin knows Phee and Non were together. So when Phee pretends not to know who Non is, Jin says nothing, meaning they are almost certainly are in on this together. In episode 2 after the Top saw the "ghost of Non" in the bathroom, Tee asks Jin if he was trying to prank Top. Jin says he couldn't possibly have because he was with Phee, White and Por the whole night. Well Por is out cold, Phee is most likely working with Jin, and White is a little wild card (I think the fact that he joined the friend group around the same time Phee did is very sus, not to mention he keeps subtly gaslighting Tee constantly.) Top also mentions that what happened in the bathroom was exactly like what Non did in the original short film shooting. And who was the only one there at the original short film shooting with Non who would be able to recreate it and scare the living hell out of Top? Jin. In conclusion, I am almost positive Phee, Jin, White, and probably Tan as well, are going after the people who hurt Non. I also think there is another person there too helping them, who we most likely haven't been introduced to yet.
This special ep almost quite literally put me to sleep. And since I have terrible trouble falling asleep, is actually quite impressive. So if you want to be entertained with a good plot and good acting I would rate it 3/10, however if you want to go to sleep it is a solid 9/10
Actually at this point I am not even sure if it's paranormal or not. So much things are pointing toward a revenge…
It's entirely possible that the "paranormal" happenings are being caused because someone, most likely Phee, Tan, or Jin, has drugged them with a hallucinogen of some kind. Kind of a wild theory, but with writing team on this one, it could be possible.
What else could we expect from Sammon. She is booked and busy too. In 2023 she was working on this show and 4 minutes, and it was just announced that another one of her novels is being adapted too!
For everyone saying Jin posted the video, I don't think he did. The shot clearly shows him destroying his laptop before anything was posted. But do you know who I think did post the clip? Tee. Not only was he stalking Non, but in episode three or four Fluke yells at him something along the lines of "I know what you did, the camera, the leaked clip, everything". Jin also has no motivation to post the clip besides petty jealousy, while we already know Tee is hell bent on making Non miserable.
Well that episode was a hard watch. It was very well done, but just tough subject matter to watch play out. BOC made a good decision getting Sammon and the director of Manner of Death involved in this project.
Also poor JJ keeps getting cast as terrible people lmao. First a serial cheater and now a pedo teacher.
ugh. 15 hours of gay-bait, satin pajamas and flying around in the air.Dropped.1/10
This is a bl, and it was going to air uncensored, sadly a couple episodes into airing the chinese law that prohibits the showing of queer couples in media was passed, and this show had to be pulled from the air and censored. The original novel the show is adapted from is fully translated and free to read online, fully uncensored. And I mean fully. You will get way more than a peck.
I wanted to like this so badly, but it's just not doing it for me. They have such an interesting plot idea, but they just won't fully dive into it. Neither the plot or the characters are being fleshed out as much as they should be. I can even handle the plot being a bit underdeveloped, but the characters being underdeveloped is seriously hurting my enjoyment of the show. I feel so indifferent when anything happens to the characters. The super natural abilities should have been set up better to. Way's hypnosis was by far the best set up, but even it could have been improved upon. At this point the show just feels like Love in the air with omegaverse tendencies.
his GIRLFRIEND is a trans WOMAN, what part of that means he isn't straight?can we chill with the casual transphobia
Sex and Gender are different. Sex is genetic, and despite what some people want, is not a simple as XY or XX. Almost 1% of the worlds population is intersex, which doesn't seem like a lot till you realise that 1% of 8 billion is 80 million. Gender is a social construct. It is the things we typically associate with one "sex". Things like pink, long hair, unicorns, dresses, etc are associated with women and girls while pants, blue, gyms, tools, etc, are associated with men and boys. None of these have any genetic reason for being one of the other, society just decided they were at some point. Here is a great video that will explain this better than I can: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kT0HJkr1jj4&t=547s&pp=ygUPc2V4IGFuZCBnZW5kZXIg
When it comes to Yai dating Sand even before she transitioned, Sand may have looked outwardly male at the time, but her brain and soul never were male. It's also very possible Yai was only romantically attracted to her before she transitioned, and they never were physical until after she transitioned. We must also remember that Yai never shows any interest in any person who identifies as male, but still mentions other women being pretty, which heavily suggests he is straight. Human sexuality isn't black and white, it's a spectrum. At the end of the day its two people who love each other, and that is all that matters.
Uhhhh, hate to break it to you but in the uncut version on iqiyi there was 3 sex scenes sooo.... Also just f off…
In some cases I do sort of agree with you. With Mame (creator of TharnType, Love in the air, etc.) for instance. She doesn't give a care about the queer community, fuels toxic stereotypes of queer men, and romantisizes SA, among other things. So when talking about her work, it one hundred percent would fall in the "straight womens fantasies" box in my opinion. However we must be careful not to just slap that label on stuff just because it contains a sex scenes, or even if it is written by a straight women. The demonization of depictions of queer intimacy by bigots has been going on for forever, so we need to be extra careful as queer people not to fall for that rhetoric. It's fine to criticize bad depictions, and more than ok to not want to want to watch NC scenes, but we must be careful not to 'other' it. As for fanservice, and fanservice culture, that is a whole other conversation. Cause yeah, some ships are contractually obligated to do over the top fanservice, but some ships are literally just friends doing friends things, but that doesn't stop insane fans from making insane assumptions. I also think some fans think everything is fanservice, which is also bad since it is undermining real friendships and maybe even romantic relationships as "just fanservice" when the people in the ship genuinely care for one another.
I just want to know were they are getting these show writers. Like how do you find someone so bad!? You could literally just go and randomly choose a fic off ao3 and ask that fics author to write you a show and it still would be better than this.

Even if he was dating her pre-transition it still doesn't make him queer, since her brain / soul have always been a woman's. There was even a similar instance of this in the the news in the last year or so when a women came out to her husband as a lesbian, but still didn't want to leave him because she loved him despite him being a "man". Well not long after he came out to her as trans woman. They even had a whole second wedding as their true selves after she transitioned.
Real mature for blocking me Gian and making it so I can't reply back to your comment. So sad you can't handle…
You still have me blocked, but I do still get the notification you replied, and I can see your comments when I log out. If you didn't want to engage with me why reply to me and then block me so I can't reply back??? That just makes it seem like you can't handle other opinions. I'm not one for public callouts, but making it so I am unable to back up my opinion when I did nothing other than present another opinion was uncalled for. I will delete this callout later as I don't care for drama, but maybe next time don't block people for literally nothing.
What I meant by "quit with the hope" was not that it wasn't a part of the story, but rather that people need to stop using it as an excuse for the poor writing of the last episode, and to stop using it as an excuse for the lowkey ableist ending. That and I have seen more than a few people online using "hope" to back up their downright ableist opinions, despite the vast majority of disabled viewers of the show telling them they are wrong.
People are confusing ACCEPTANCE with HOPE. Just because Day ACCEPTED his blindness, does not mean he can't HOPE…
Sure some visually impaired people were fine with the ending, however some were not. The thing is you people are ignoring the opinions of the visually impaired people who didn't like the ending because it doesn't fall in line with what you want.
I also need people to quit with this whole "hope" thing. Hope can be a wonderful thing, but it also can be absolutely heart crushing. What if the surgery had failed a second time? What if they found that Day's eyes were just to damaged for the surgery to ever really be successful? Should he just spend his entire life hoping? That is the problem. This show was never about hope. It was about healing, growth, and acceptance. That is why people don't like the ending. People aren't really mad about Day's eyesight returning. They are mad because it was just chucked in at the end with such carelessness after they spent an entire season with a message about growth and acceptance. If they wanted to cure Day, that should have been something for a second season were it could be handled delicately, and not thrown in in the last ten minutes like a misplaced afterthought.
