Since the last wild theory I had about them being drugged was correct, I'm going to throw out another wild theory. There is still a 9th person in the house. Tan may want revenge, but I don't think he wants to murder them, just inflict the same heavy psychological pain they inflicted onto Non back onto them. I think if Tan really wanted to kill them, he would have let Fluke shoot Top. Not to mention Phee seems worried, like things aren't going the way they were planned.
I'm on halfway on ep2 and i can barely force myself to finish it. Does this series gets better? Should i wait…
I wouldn't recommend skipping episodes as others have suggested. The first four episodes are kinda boring and a little bit hard to watch, however, they are important. Not to mention rewatching them a second time with the context you start to get later, makes them so much more interesting.
It annoys me so much when a character acts psycho or sick, and they intentionally show the pill jar in the frame.…
How so? I'm genuinely interested why you think that. In my view it's not a bad thing. I'd rather them show that a character is trying to get help. Not to mention if a character has any other type of illness they will still flash a pill bottle. Directors just don't seem to know another way to display to the audience that a character has something wrong with them.
Because Non doesn't know that Jin leaked that video... In Non's mind Jin was only one who talked with him as a…
To add to this, when we see the scene of Jin filming from the door, it only shows the feet of Non and Kru Keng, and later switches to a perspective from inside the room. Based on the configuration of the room, unless Jin and Fluke went inside, all they would be able to see from the doorway would be the feet (aka perspective one) so if Jin posted his clip no one would have been able to see their faces. However if someone placed a hidden camera inside the room, like on the bookshelf or something, only then would you be able to see the faces of Non and Kru Keng (aka perspective two). And earlier in the episode we see Tee is trying to find out were Non got the money and enlists the help of Top, and they both are kinda stalking him.
so if this is all a revenge plot by phee or non or whoever why'd they have to kill poor uncle dang lol what'd…
Unless we find out he participated in some way later, I just assumed it may have been an accident that he was killed. That the decapitation was meant for someone else, and he just happened to be unlucky enough to find the trap first.
I don't really care about por, cause what ever he was born rich and that wasn't even abuse,he is just a spoiled…
I called it abuse because that is what I saw. The slap was only a part of it, but the entire way Por's father acted towards him screamed abusive. I was abused by my own father, so I know an abusive father when I see one.

I'm sorry, but if you think a Por's father slapping him was an ok and normal response to his friend breaking his camera, I don't know what to tell you. Yes Por is a evil rich brat, but he is also a victim of his fathers abuse. Those two things can be true at the same time. As for Tee, he was absolutely stuck between and rock and a hard place, but that does not excuse any of his behavior towards Non. He called Non names, placed the blame for the camera on Non, manipulated Non into opening the illegal bank accounts, threatened him, brought his uncles men to beat him up, just bullied him in general, and I'm almost positive he was the one who filmed and released the video of Non and the teacher. Not to mention in the present he has little to no remorse for what he did, and cares more about covering it up than admiting he did horrible horrible things.
Ok so the Temple theory, aka episode 3 & 4 theory knowing what we know now. TLDR at the end :)
So this episode we learn that Kru Keng is most likely dead (deserved) and Non probably is too (F you Tee). We also see in the preview that Tan has been officially introduced back into the mix, and is almost 100% working with Phee to take down the people who hurt Non. Now onto the theory.
In episode three we see the group kind of split off into two groups, Tee, Top, and Fluke in one, and Phee, Tan, and White in the other. Jin is acting like a middleman between them, but seems to always take the side off Phee's group (current thought is that they are trying to recreate events from the short film to avenge Non). Tee, Top, and Fluke are fighting like hell to keep everyone else from getting the hard drive, while Phee, Tan, White, and Jin are trying to get it from them (probably to use as police evidence in Non's disappearance). Uncle Dang comes and is promptly killed. Why, I'm not really sure. Tee and Top run off like scared little babies, until Tee makes probably his only good decision and goes back for White.
Back at the house Tan volunteers to "go find help" with Top. While they are in the woods Tan starts grilling Top on what happened to Non. Top denies any involvement, and only admits to having a "problem" with Non. After this the next thing we hear is a radio transmission from Tan saying that Top disappeared. I don't personally think Top just randomly disappeared; I think Tan kidnapped him and drugged him. I think the drug of choice was most likely a plant (supported by the green barf later) and I am going to go out on a massive limb and say that plant may be Devil's Trumpet (or another plant in the same genus). A widely cultivated heat loving plant that if consumed can cause hallucinations, headaches, convulsions, coma, and death. Tan most likely also dressed him up in the murderer costume, probably with the help of our possible secret 9th person. The drugged state combined with the fear and guilt of the last couple days could explain all of Tops actions at the temple and at the house. As for the rest of the people at the temple, if Top was really drugged out of his mind, that would explain the rest of the group (excluding Tee) being afraid of Top as the murder, even though they most likely caused it. I'm also betting they were burning some kind of hallucinogen at the temple on the alter, hence Jin seeing Kru Keng, even though his is more than probably dead.
Meanwhile back at the house White takes the hard drive while Fluke is distracted, and tries to find a way to play it, acquiring a gun in the process. He doesn't get to see much of the hard drive before Fluke busts him and takes him to go help with Por. Fluke then finds out White has the gun and freaks out. Top arrives back, barfs and passes out. Fluke tells White to go get some clay to absorb whatever Top has in his system, and then it looks like considers killing him for a second there to keep his dirty little secret safe. Tee radios White letting him know that the murderer took the bike and went to the house, and they put two and two together that the "murderer" is Top. They go back inside, Top wakes up, goes crazy, and pulls the stick out, before getting knocked out by White. Goodbye Por. Tee and Tan arrive back, and one thing leads to another and Fluke losses it. He blames Tee for everything, yelling at him "I know about everything, the camera, the leaked clip, everything".
TLDR: Phee, Tan, and probably Jin, and maybe even White are trying to recreate the short film to avenge Non, and gather evidence prove what happened to him. Tan lured Top into the woods and drugged and dressed him as the murderer, possibly with the help of our potential 9th person. The smoke at the temple was a hallucinogen that caused Jin to see Kru Keng.
Guys this show has me in such a chokehold! Someone asked me my theory on what happened at the temple when I posted my in retrospect theory of EP. 2, so now I've been down a rabbit hole of potential hallucinegenic plants for the last half an hour working on my theory for the events there.
I am not seeing nearly enough hate for Top here. In my opinion he is the worst out of all of them. Por's being abused at home so he takes it out on Non, Tee's father is dying and he is being "raised" by a criminal, but Top, he just enjoys being a bully. He has no "excuse" for the way he treats Non, he just thinks its fun to hurt him. I'm not trying to excuse Por or Tee at all, they are evil and deserve whatever is coming for them, but Top just makes me soooooo angry.
Nothing I hate more than a rushed and unneeded character death. Like why was everyone there just letting Way bleed out on the floor!? Like I'm sorry but as soon as he got shot Alan and Jeff should have dragged him behind the corner with them and compressed his wounds. Even if dragging him to safety wasn't possible (which it was), as soon as Kenta stabbed daddy dearest they should have started first aid instead of crying over him and begging him not to die.
