not sure if you’re aware or not…but men aren’t really limited to fixed gender roles like you think! depending on our mood, the type of relationship, or the moment that determines what type of night (or day) it will be! pleasuring your significant other is the main goal, not adhering to some heteronormative tropes!
I’m sure this was a light hearted question,..but it’s very high-key toxic pandering. to relegate an actor to just a sexual position is wild. For example, people will say, “the bottom in khemjira is really cute” instead of just saying “the second ML in khemjira is cute” in context I understand your sentiments…but in reality, its such a cringy thing to say out loud… please don’t take this as an insult or me calling you out. just spreading awareness. 🌱
hmmm, well written simply equals “well written” which to me implies compelling, believable characters, a rhythmic flow, and vivid, concise dialogue that keeps the audience fully immersed; not disjointed or rushed. AND … I would also like to enjoy a BL that is everything that I mentioned above, but doesn’t end in dispair or pain for the audience or characters. for example: a balloons landing, Shine, etc. 😉
For the love of all things BL…Please let this have a well written story/plot! Also, not another sad or depressing bitter sweet (open-ending) type of ending…because that has the theme for most big box (Netflix) BL’s lately! 🤞🏼
I’m hoping that the writers do a good job at flushing out He Jin’s character soon (Chen Ken’s roommate) on the surface he might seem like a disgruntled “weirdo” as most people peg him to be. however, I think he’s way more layered than that. Maybe it’s his own insecurities of being a loner, lacking true friends and his own internal negative monologue that makes him feel like an outcast; just an observation! I’m curious to see how this unfolds.
Please for the love of all things BL, can we keep the story going smoothly and not disjointed as it progresses in order to rush the ending? secondly, if there is a kiss scene(s) please make sure that they actually kiss and not just touch faces. I’m totally ok with a compassionate hug or an intense longing in the eyes. honestly, I’ll take anything in order to avoid watching a passionatless, cringy and pointless kiss scene any day. And lastly, for the ending… please, no open-ended or sad endings. Most of the promising BLs in the past year have ended unnecessarily sad or traumatic…or it will just have a lack luster finale all together!
I just simply want to enjoy (not dread) a well produced BL, from beginning to END! 😌
I’m going into this with my eyes & ears open but my expectations for a competent script is currently below sea level. But I’m hoping to be proven wrong…I adore Ta, but will swiftly drop this if the first 2 episodes are trash! I need a coherent storyline with proper directing. wish me luck!
Woo Do Hwan’s face card is absolutely leathel. The eyes, The smile the charisma… and now we’re adding Rain to the Mix? this cast lineup is beyond top tier
I might a well be prepared to be lost and confused the entire show because at what point am I going to have time to read captions…if im already distracted by the on screen talent? 🫨
At this point I’m convinced that most directors/ writers of BL’s are just a bunch of toxic BL-Fangirls that…
lol, Thank you! The On1y One is one of my top fav…along with “I hear the sunspot! but can I share a tiny secret with you? I didnt watch the last 45 min of either of these shows (I knew what was coming and I didn’t want to ruin it with that type of ending) 🤫 as for the others… I’ve watched 1 or 2 episodes of -word of honor -the eithgt sense -to my star I was initially intrigued by them all but haven’t had the focus to finish them since last year. To be completely honest, I might never finish “To My Star” why? because I absolutely loathe a sad and torturous love. I guess im too sensitive to put myself through that type of anguish for the sake of finishing it. maybe I’ll give it another go in the future.
oh, I will definitely check out the others on the list for sure! I love a good BROmance!
the curly haired friend was such a cutie! He’s like the clueless, obnoxious and innocent friend all wrapped into one…I see why the other guy fell for him.
Where is the point of writing a script if you can't give it a direction? You started by giving us a story ,a fake…
At this point I’m convinced that most directors/ writers of BL’s are just a bunch of toxic BL-Fangirls that have no respect or understanding of queer relationships/ love! most of these actors are incredibly talented. Unfortunately, they have to rely on trash scripts in order to have consistent work. honestly, I would hate being an actor in this genre if these are the type of underwhelming & repetitive storylines to look forward to! if you’re going to call yourself a writer…WRITE something worth producing! stop wasting these people’s time and talent! yes, the bar for most “BL fans” is on the floor, but a lot of us have high standards and desire a coherent storyline with depth & a bit of nuance to it. Fingers crossed that 2026 delivers this and so much more!
Couldn't finish this even though it's genuinely sooo good! Why can't I watch Lakorn-style series? I get mad anxiety…
however, my reasons for not finishing the show had a lot to do with the unnecessary amount of angst amd pending doom in every scene, tone deaf writing, as well as the insulting heteronormative stereotypes cosplaying as BL content.
honestly, this show had the potential to be absolutely beautiful from start to finish.
every episode (except 7) ended with pain and suffering for Sasin and SaenKaew!
but when they created that redemption arc for the narcistic, manipulative, prejudice and cruel father…they completely lost me! he should have never been forgiven nor trusted ever again (attempted murder…, twice????)
Pin (though she had her struggles) became an insufferable elitist. she acted as if she owned SK. she made everything about her and her happiness alone!
the writers/ producers and directors dropped the ball in so many ways here…they essentially just told millions of people that it’s ok to stay with your abuser and allow them to dictate your happiness. & as long as you don’t try to fight back you’ll be “safe”… because rich and powerful people have no consequences for their actions!
Sasin and SaenKaew deserved a much better ending than being attached to a bunch of psychopaths that are just waiting in the shadows to assert their hierarchy over them in the future! but that’s just my humble opinion. 🙃

👋🏼 …psychology graduate here & I also dropped the show after ep 8 or 9…for a lot more reasons than I can articulate.
however, my thoughts on why it bothers you so much to watch shows (Larkorns) like this is that you’re probably an emphatic person by nature nd can’t stand to see people treated unjustly or cruel. This show was cruelty on steroids! Every other scene showed someone spying and eavesdropping or plotting to hurt someone; People who have a strong sense of moral belief and justice become highly anxious when watching shows like this; it wrecks the nervous system. I learned this about myself years ago… we simply feel things more intensely than others, which it’s so important to know what we can and cannot watch.
Just finished episode 10, and if I wasn't hooked before, I sure as hell am hooked now. ( Casual for: I'm obsessed…
yes to all of this!
Sasin was head over heels for Saenkaew since their first encounter at the train station. But he needed to navigate those feelings a bit longer. But by the time his head caught up to his heart, he was in too deep. that’s not something you can just openly communicate off top, considering those feelings are towards another guy (in the 60’s)
even if Sasin did decide to open up to Pin and share everything he had been feeling all along, do people really think Pin would have changed her view and rallied behind them in support; abandoning her own happiness and freedom? nah!
yes, pin is hurting and deserves her own happiness (somewhere far away from them) but her hurt doesn’t derive from the boys…at this point in the story, it’s all self inflicted.
I used to think Pin was simple and innocent, but episodes 9-10 has just unveiled her strong side. She's playing…
yes!!!
pin has been socialized/ groomed to subconsciously think that she and her family are above everyone else. on the surface she might be sweet and innocent (considering her unfortunate past) but deep down, I think she can be just as brutal as her manipulative parents. the more I think about that the more her character makes sense.
she’s not all that “nice” and innocent, she’s just carefree/ content (privileged) and the moment she felt challenged and denied of what she deemed as her property (SaenKaew) thats when her true colors appeared.
Pin has been standing 10 toes down on her privileges for the past few episodes now. who she is at heart is who she is today! but maybe she’ll redeem herself.

his sound/voice has matured so beautifully!

I wonder if the producers just didnt think this song would be something viewers would think twice about.
“Act” Chokchai Moomak was such a perfect choice for this song and now we want more!

and yes - I look totally look forward to seeing those two lovebirds dancing the night away!
