With a shorter review time for modern dramas, there is a real chance that Ai Mi will have three dramas air this year as a lead: Above the Wall, Key to the Phoenix Heart, and A Chan. She's selected her roles well, and mixed things up. There won't be any romance in ATW, and romance won't be the primary focus in KTTPH or AC. There will be some romantic elements, of course, but they'll serve more as pre-romance development where she acts to create an atmosphere of affection without any heavy physical component. I'm super excited to see her step up, and I'm so happy for her. I really believe she's going to crush it, and we could be about to witness a star is born moment.
Great news. Really looking forward to this one airing. Something a little more risqué 👄 👠 is the perfect change up I need after overdosing on too much sweet and fluffy. Fingers crossed 🤞 for February.
Bravo! Everyone involved should take a bow. A truly world-class crime epic. Enthralling from the opening episode right through to the finale. I had my doubts given the runtime, which is particularly long for a crime drama. But TKO did it with ease, maintaining the pace and intrigue throughout. An outstanding drama you won't forget, and one you'll want to revisit time and time again.
Recently wrapped up this magnificent drama. Special from start to finish. An engrossing experience that stays with you. I'd highly recommend TTL to anyone. As others have said, 8.1 is too low. However, you get used to that on MDL, where anything sweet and fluffy is often rated too high, and anything real and a little painful is rated too low.

I enjoyed AASOL, but had to downgrade it lower than SOM due to the stupid and cringe 😬 scene where Wu Lei gives the love speech while in the crowd of the pool tournament 😂. It was a record skip / nails on a chalkboard moment for me. Thankfully, it got back on track and recovered. To this day, it's still one of my most hated moments in Cdrama.
