I actually really liked this one! People are too hypercritical these days when it comes to BL’s hence the lower…
I can only comment for myself, I think this happens in a lot of genres when you have source material vs how it's translated. This happens a lot in sci-fi/fantasy genres...when you have those who are like "This isn't how it was in the book" vs "Those who are open to different interpretations" or "Those who haven't read the source material". Personally, for this particular one I was in the "open to different interpretations" UNTIL the ending...Then, I turned into "This isn't how it was in the book/webtoon" people😆

So, the ending was both good and bad (or rather jarring). It was jarring because there wasn't really a conclusive…
In the webtoon, he is a character who is a huge star who agrees to come to the company ONLY if the CEO works as his manager. The CEO and his brother have to fly out to meet him and get him to sign the contract. The CEO says he won't be his manager, but will create a handcrafted team for him. Essentially, this character is OBSESSED with the CEO and is also the host for the Temple Diety. When he is the Temple Diety he is OBSESSED with Seol D. Basically, he is just as crazy in the series, but without any of the background

I had issues with this one from the beginning, got enamored with the leads and their love story in the middle…
It wasn't all "a dream"...The CEO prayed to sacrifice his memories for Dong Baek's life. So, it was really just a prayer answered, and a rewinding of time. Either way, I would've preferred the webtoon ending... Although, the webtoon ending was a bit rushed, as well, at least it gave some closure vs this "hopefully, this dinner takes back down the same couple path".
