I think also BL scores are kind of hard to understand on here because not everyone is purely voting on plot, music, acting skills, etc. When I read reviews, people are also voting on how well two people kiss, if they find the pairing attractive to their eye, if the pair was physically touching enough to their liking, and other things that not everyone across the board rates. At least that is what I read in the numerous reviews I’ve read. I know I read a lot of the source material (mangas & novels). I will state in my review if I am comparing the two, and how that influences my rating.

How funny! I was thinking about how Garth Brooks had the “Chris Gaines” persona back in the day. I always get distracted by horrible wigs in BL’a and have to tell myself to focus on the story constantly🤣

I just found the source material online and I will read it, as I normally read the source material of any BL I plan on watching if it’s good. Maybe, I will like it better than the series

Blasphemy! You haven’t watched The Untamed?! If you are enjoying this, then you will be blown away by The Untamed. It’s unfortunate the silly aftermath that went down afterwards. They could’ve went on to star together in bromance movies because of their chemistry. Seriously, I encourage you to watch it…it’s a LONG series, but their onscreen chemistry is well worth it!

The premise of being fooled by the gender is so laughable because it is so OBVIOUSLY A MAN. The “costume” doesn’t even fool the people he is hiding from for even a second, as everyone who sees him instantly recognizes who he is and why he is dressed as such. Once, the initial premise is dropped, I am just annoyed at how “naive”, actually I believe the MC to be slightly “intellectually challenged”. I have it beyond a fair chance, and watched 7 ep. It becomes a bad knockoff of “The Untamed” with nowhere close to the onscreen chemistry and charisma exuded by the 2 leads. I seem to be a rare opinion, as others seem to be truly enjoying this, and that’s great! It’s just not for me.

I am the type of person you are speaking about, because I’m reading the reviews trying to see if someone can convince me to watch this…since I’ve already read the source material (manga) and seen a great adaption.

Damn, Joe! Really?! Dude, made some basic ass ramen & food and glued together back some “couple mugs” that he begrudgingly got and you let him back in your life?! I get that you lost your parents at a young age, but the trauma from that can’t make you THIS desperate for any & all attention. Dude, kidnapped you, caused you to lose your only financial stream, and spoke to you like crap every chance he got…under the guise of “falling in love w/ someone’s back” that he misidentified. Don’t even get me started on the fact that he based his fanatical obsession solely on someone’s flippin’ back!!!! I don’t even know how to rate this show, as I’m so frustrated by both MC’s actions. Does that mean they acted well and/or the script is good? I think it’s more a well written, albeit extremely toxic ass script.

The way in which I would’ve called someone a “stalker” and told them to get from in front of my house. I also would’ve told them to “Run,” because if they weren’t being a stalker they wouldn’t have to worry about stray dogs in the first flippin’ place. Basically, if I get blessed w/ a 2nd chance at my EXACT life..The way I would be like a basketball player, breaking ankles ducking and dodging certain people and situations in my previous life. My life would be AB👏🏾SO👏🏾LUTE👏🏾LY STRESS FREE!

Based on the trailer for ep. 11, I know they want me to care about the future of their relationship…but as I’m only rage watching at this point…I don’t even care if they end up together due to family strife, but of course, in formulaic BL fashion…they will🤷🏾‍♀️

I swear I’m rage watching this at this point! How do you get a second chance at life and make the EXACT SAME CRAP DECISIONS?! Ep. 9 tried to gaslight me into not thinking they had a toxic relationship filled w/ emotional abuse, manipulation, kidnapping, etc. via sentimental music & flashbacks. After seeing the preview for ep. 10, I almost want to drop this as a whole. I don’t think I’ve ever been so upset w/ a character before🤬

I think it was episode 1. when he gets stuff out of his locker…you can see the shadows of the camera guy and someone else. I was thinking, “Editor, you saw this plain and day…Then, decided ‘looks good to me. next.’”

I have been fast forwarding a LOT through ep. 7-9. My thoughts throughout ep. 9 “I don’t care about the main couple. It was obvi they were going to end up together since the 1st ep. When are Lomfon & Saengthian coming back on? We get it…they knew each other way before they KNEW each other and that’s what all his saved post it’s are about. When are we going to learn more about Lomfon and why he hates the soulmate theory so much? Will Lomfon & Saengthian end up together? Why is there so much filler I have to fast fwd through?”

I mean scenarios like in the restaurant when he or the other guy with a girlfriend ordered. Does no one speak because they don’t want the other to hear what they are doing when it rains, like with the kissing scene? I can’t imagine being tuned into someone for the rest of my life when it rained (with no “off” switch), especially if we aren’t a couple, and having to go silent each time. How inconvenient. Sign language would help your “soulmate” from hearing you though…I’m r really acting like this is a diagnosis and coming up with strategies🤣

I’m confused. It’s a temporary HEARING loss. Why are they acting like they can’t speak during this time? Why is the hearing impaired person writing on paper? Just speak, and the other person will write. Is there no sign language or other such things existing in this universe?

I just found it right before I saw your comment. I just use my Google Translate app on my cell in camera mode to read it off my laptop. It's like you use your cell like a magnifying glass to read your chosen language! Other languages don't dissuade me thanks to the Google Translate app. Normally, Google translate will just translate on my cell, Tunwali must be aware of the app, because it translates to weird characters. It's an extra step, but worth being able to read anything that's not available outside of Tunwali.

Is this a novel or a manga? What is the name, as I trying to find the source material to read it? I am so lost watching this series, but I want to like it.

I am weirdly invested, but more so because I am waiting for some clarity around WTF is going on?! I get they were running from gangsters and "maybe" the guy is his boyfriend reincarnated/after surgery. Yet, who people are and why they are acting the way they are is like a puzzle with missing pieces...I am just trying my best to fill in the blanks until I understand truly WTF is going on.

It's funny that this is by a company called "World Star", but they don't ACTUALLY want to help themselves or their actors become WORLD STARS by letting the world view the show.🤣
