Yes totally. People don't see that just hate him. Yes, it's bit annoying to always see the SML hovering around all the time but feel so sorry for the character. He's so good. Definitely happy for the actor getting good screen time.

You'll get hardly any drama where you'll miss the side characters as much you will miss the leads. This is that drama. The supporting characters were soooooo good.

I understand the love but think yourself in the character's pov. He would have been dead. For what? For saving her. She would had lived in regret.
What she could have done in the police station?
And what else she would have said to the police? He's my bf? And the police will say, "so what! Tell me why he was hitting that man"

Wtf! They will spend 40 minutes out of 60 minutes in the last episode for him to be conscious and then only 10 mins of good moments. This tensed scene should have been done in ep 14 end instead.
