Do soju and alcohol companies sponsor kdramas? There is constant soju drinking every 10 mins. It's nonstop. It…
Slice of Life dramas are made to show life in the perspective of some characters. It also shows the culture. Drinking culture is deeply associated with the work culture. All of the characters who drank are portrayed as working people. They didn't show their mother or father drinking much alcohol because it doesn't happen in real life. But in real life SKoreans drink thaaat much of alcohol. So, it nothing in their perspective. For Gu, they clearly showed him as an alcoholic. It's like you're judging something that you don't even know or understand.
I had a really hard time to get into this drama, but finished it. The characters aren't very likeable and you…
It doesn't romanticizes alcohol. It just shows a character and life in the perspective of an alcoholic. Everybody is not ready to watch and absorb the philosophies the drama showed. If you're from another country than SK, no matter how much you try you won't understand their culture. The same with their drinking culture. In real life South Koreans drink twice more alcohol than even Russians and Americans. So, every character drinking alcohol seemed totally fine in SK perspective and for Gu, they clearly showed him as an alcoholic.
This was close to perfect drama. Except the fact that they didn't show a scene of Gu meeting Chang Hee. Just asked about him. GuMi ended up together, so they'll probably meet in future but still a scene was needed.
It's crazy how even among the chaos, each character listen to the other character calmly without interrupting or cutting off. Throughout each episode, I feel like now someone will say enough of your nonsense and leave but it never happens.
it's been a year I downloaded it but i don't have courage to start it , I'm wanting to see it sooooo badly but…
Save it, When times will be rough and you have hard time, start it. These slow slice of life dramas aren't much enjoyable when you watch them with other energetic dramas. Or when yourself is energetic.
I don't think there wasuch story tho. her mother took her to a hotel when she was young and she fell in love with…
Aigoo who hurt you ! Can't accept other's opinion or criticism? I neither said the drama was bad nor that I expected twists; it's not a detective drama. Touch some grass. Byeee noob.

She took her to the King Hotel not any hotel. You guys defending probably have never watched bunch of romcom kdramas where they make unnecessary childhood connection that how the main leads were destined from the past. In the beginning episodes, how they showed the time lapse for both of them was the clear portrayal of destiny not just they fall in love accidentally. The whole drama revolved around cliches so to expect another cliche was obvious. Why bring a detail if you're not going to complete it. It's like oh I can't make the back story properly so let's leave it.
The plot development was sh1t, still we needed Jun Ho to do a proper romcom with that body and face. Yoona and him looked fire. So, will miss the cringey scenes with a true smile not fake lol
Agree, at the end, it's all unintended tragedy? which doesn't even make for a good emotional background because…
Yeah totally. They needed to add more serious twist in the first life. Remembering everything till 19 lives just because of that wasn't reasonable. They should have dedicated atleast whole two episodes on the first life and added more miseries in her life which could have made her soul so restless.
