Personally I don't mind the ending, since the show as a whole was great. It's the first one I watched that depicts a realistic portrait of women's situation in history rather than modernise it like other dramas.

It's not!

It started out fun and interesting, but went mediocre halfway. The ML and his lackies carried the drama, whereas the FL had potential but failed personality wise. Not a big fan of an abusive partner, she kept hitting him through the drama!

I dropped the drama after the 25th episode, but still curious about who tried to kill him when he was a child?

I'm at ep 40 and thinking of dropping this drama, can't shake the idea that the ML is just as despicable as his father.
