Agree, it has a great set of female characters. But the story itself is kinda flat

Wow, its been ages since I cried my eyes out through a drama's ending!!! It's sad, but I loved it!!

Its realistic, since it was a war period, and people don't live long due to casualties. My only complaint is that A Ying was supposed to be the person at the last scene not the other princess since she didn't engage with all the brothers compared to AYing.

Does it have a stupid female lead?

Well, it's no surprise if you read or watch Wuxia a lot.

This drama taught me to never trust MDL rating. One of the best dramas I watched this year, glad I didn't skip it due to low rating.

An endless cycle of coughing, blood spitting and poisoning.

The male lead carried the show alone.

Everyone raved about the mainlaeds romance in Word of Honor and the Untamed, but here I am crying that I finally found another well constructed storyline and mature characters with no filler scenes.

My rating fluctuated similar to the ML's forehead length throughout the drama.
