If there is a moral to the story, it is that once broken, things can never be put back the same way.

Just a normal light love story, no major ups nor downs in the story. ML isn't obsessive, he does love the FL a lot. FL pouts too much, not my kind of FL. There is skinship in each episode but its by no means excessive, and kinda repetitive. Thank goodness it was only 10 short episodes.

Hilarious romp!!!! Story is different and very funny to boot >.< The show originated as a webtoon, so to enjoy this drama, one has to imagine that you are watching a webtoon come to live.

I love the OST song "I'm a slave for you" by Reiji Kawaguchi and more than 6 months later, the song is still on my favourite playlist.

Unfortunately, there are a few lakorns where the ML slaps the FL. Even in my top fav slap-kiss lakorn Sawan Biang, Kawee slapped Narin once. I have two major triggers, one of which is ML hitting the FL. Only Ken's incredible Kawee could carry it off and not make me hate the ML.

After completing 46 lakorns, the worst so far was Fai Ruk Arsoon. Half a star for that, I cannot believe it was even made.

Enjoyable romp! It is not quite a rom-com (rom-coms aren't my thing, I love slap-kiss lakorns), but the show isn't mired in soul-searching deep angst nor prolonged melodrama nor does it have extremely hateful characters, which was a relief after heavier lakorns. FL is a perfectionist, has a short fuse and a fiery temper (I like hardass FLs so it is not an issue) but as other commentators have said, there is always a reason for her temper tantrums. Baifern did really well to carry off the FL character, which I thought was well-written enough that she is still likeable. I like the ML, not only is he cute, he has good EQ and IQ to be able to survive as the FL's secretary. His accommodating nature towards the FL is very sweet (after all she is his boss :) 9/10!!

Many implausible set ups (which mafia head honcho is also a school principal?! I am talking from a practical point of view, both jobs are full time jobs lol). Also, ML cannot act.

Besides Mint Chalida, the notable point in this lakorn is that the ML chose brains and personality over beauty, which is not that common in lakorns (well he fell in love, so maybe not a conscious choice but brains and personality won over beauty) . They chose the right FL actress who can carry this off.

A rating of 6.5/10. It would have been lower except that Mint Chalida was good as the disarmingly gauche schoolgirl FL.

Yes I just started to download a couple of the older lakorns because of this exact fear. I don't even mind paying a bit of money if I can watch the older lakorns tbf. Despite always having Thai friends, my Thai is negligible, I recently watched Sai Yai Sawad raw because I searched for many hours without finding any subs. I loved Kob & Stefan in Lhong Ngao Jun, so sat through Sai Yai Sawad raw. You know the actors and chemistry are good when you can just watch them for hours without understanding the words! Thats why I love push/pull because the emotions are so intense and captivating.

I am going to download Rahut Rissaya, Lhong Ngao Jun and both the older Ngao Asoke versions, also Sawan Biang.

Both Athichart and Andrew are fine actors, it is not their acting. I think its a chemistry thing, I don't have personal chemistry with them lol. I like Chakrit, he is good at bad boy roles!

The "older" gen lakorn actors and actresses were AMAZING good. I have a few fav female actresses (Nune, Ann, Kob, non-aging Aum Patcharapa who must have a Dorian Grey painting somewhere) but seriously there were a whole heap of other good actresses.

In comparison among the "newer" actresses, I have only connected with 3 - Bella Campen and Namtarn Pichukkana are both charming while Yaya is sweet. Mook did make an impression but that was because superb chemistry with Michael Pattaradet in Suparburoot Jorm Jon: Maturot Lohgan. No other younger actresses have made a strong impression (haven't watched any Kimberly ones)

Ken is king, I don't think there is another Thai actor who can act so well.. literally 5 different facial emotions in 7 seconds type acting. He completely made Kawee. I predict there won't be a remake of Sawan Biang for a while because which actor is able to top that amazing characterisation of Kawee??? Sawan Biang was remade every 10 years...but its almost 15 years now and no director is crazy enough to attempt a remake.

Sawan Biang is my top lakorn followed by Kleun Cheewit (amazing chemistry). I am halfway thru Game Rai Game Rak (temporary pause lol).

Sadly Jam Leuy Rak made me realise that I don't enjoy rural setting lakorns! Have watched enough lakorns with rural elements to come to this conclusion. Also I cannot get into Athichart (watched another drama with him and Ann) nor Andrew (I watched Tang Parn Kammathep).

Yes I started Roy Leh Sanae Rai starring Tik but stalled because I am so greedy I keep starting other lakorns and not finishing others (fully intending to watch, its not a decision to drop). Oh Prissana! I tagged it for future but gosh didn't realise it was Tik, the poster is so bad lol.
Soda Gub sounds like something I would watch though from the comments, I think there are no Eng subs to be found. Sigh, I like older lakorns and its a total struggle to find them with subs.

I have a habit of always FF scenes for draggy parts due to impatience. I like the push/pull or emotional engagement between the main leads to start by 1/3 of the way through. This show rated 9.5 for me - I kept looking to FF and I couldn't find opportunities to do so from start to end LOL. Kudos for writing it so well to keep my attention throughout!

Btw I enjoy older lakorns (lakorn rawr between main leads is not a trigger for me, infidelity and hitting the FL are my major triggers) but either I cannot find them or they are not subtitled T.T

Lol totally agree with you! I didn't have any issues with the storyline for Yah Leum Chan (Ann & Tik) except for the lack of chemistry. If not for Ann, the show would have been destroyed for me. It didn't rank worse in my rating lists only because everything else in the lakorn was ok except for the dire lack of chemistry.

For some reason I find Tik struggles with this - can you point out a couple of lakorns where he had good chemistry with his FL and its slap and kiss?

One of the few lakorn I watched without subs and I don't have such patience generally (habit of FF anything draggy). I do love scenes of push and pull between the main leads and this one has it right from the start (ep 2) all the way to the end. This pairing has my thumbs up also because I really enjoyed Lhong Ngao Jun with the same main leads.

Oh and the little boy completely stole my heart and I don't like kids, especially boys. Probably the only time I regret not having children is watching this show lol.

Unfortunately I agree with you, Ann for all her acting skills couldn't make the chemistry work between her and Tik. I think she had more chemistry with Smart in Likit Kammathep, who has been accused of being a bad actor lol.
