Very easy lakorn to watch. No crazy scheming evil sister/MIL for once, no exasperatingly stupid characters, ML and FL are not morally dubious. The scenes with the long-suffering monk are HILARIOUS ^-^
Good chemistry between Bella and Mark! Although I think Bella and Pope in Love Destiny, and Mark and Yaya in Kluen Cheewit are slightly better pairings with respect to their visual chemistry.
Spoiler alert
In my opinion, the surprise 2ML is actually Chief Songkran :D Who won't want a devoted guy like that! Having said this, I should do some reflection of my own 😂
Nune Woranuch excels in such power welding roles. Anne Thongprasom has natural air of dignity (Ann is not in this drama, just a comment) while Nune Woranuch wears power like a second skin.
I've watched Nune in Ra Raerng Fai, Rahut Rissaya and Pitsawat, they picked the right actress for the job. Anyone know of other lakorns where Nune Woranuch plays a powerful FL, please let me know!
I cannot find it in me to forgive the ML, even right at the very end because of how the story was written. It is one thing to end someone's life in one lifetime, but to knowingly take a decision that would damn the woman he claimed to love to an eternity of torment without reincarnation is a monstrous action.
This transgression is so unforgivable that the particular ending was written (ML became a monk) because it was literally the only possible action left to redeem the ML.
Even after the ML's past life memories as Lord Ak returned, the ML wasn't exactly jumping to step into the FL's shoes to spare her desperate agony. This is the fault of the storyline - ML wasn't written as madly in love with the FL (the ML's past life character was the one supposedly in love with his wife the FL) so the reader never builds a strong sympathy with the ML. While the FL's pain is so apparent in every episode I was ready to volunteer myself to spare her halfway through.
This powerful and visually spectacular drama would have been a 9.5 in my ratings but I scored it an 8 only because I am so angry at the past life ML lead (please note Nune AND Pong are both favourite actors of mine, so I am truly pissed off at the past life ML. Even Pong cannot make me forgive the past life ML).
Sorry I know this is not going to be useful for most viewers looking for Eng subs - for anyone who can read Chinese subs, please PM me and I will send the link for the episodes.
What do you mean the actress is different from part 1?? It is the same actress. Unless you meant the character…
Very fresh-faced Ken Theeradeth and Anne Thongprasom acted in the 2001 Rang Ngao! They had their usual chemistry even back then. Perhaps that was what the original comment referred to. Else yeah, Janie was the main FL in the 2012 Rang Ngao and 2019 Rang Ngao 2.
