The 2nd FL was introduced late in the near end of the novel just like the latest drama. Even though there were 2 previous drama adaptations, the latest was Su Ying 1st appearance on screen

I guess c-radio dramas are different than the Japanese ones. The following adaptations over there had no trouble using the songs from its predecessors in the work.

1st goes to...Jade Curtis from Tales of the abyss cause he is such an immoral guy who enjoy screwing with people.
Come to think of it, both are in their mid 30s, referred as old men and they have their degree in medicine. But Jade tops Li LianHua because everyone knows never trust Jade with chemicals cause it will lead to disaster

LYF extra little theatres made me wish TTEOTM have them too like in the novel and radio drama. XL gave me the vibe of Sesshoumaru when he felt his actor badmouthing him that he gave him death threats. We like to see more of the previous Tantai Jin perspective before and after he became a DG. & the OG Ye Xiwu before Li Susu took over her body. I am still pissed Youku broke their promise of the audio release.

That time, I thought the c-drama would use the songs from the previous adaptation & I love the soundtracks in it. Though I enjoyed the ones with our loving leads, I still preferred the songs from the radio as they depicted the tragic fate of our couple in the lyrics
