Like the mature, young, or dark romance wuxia or xinxia drama. If it need to catch up the Korean & Japanese marketing in drama, Chinese tv industries need to change their old style story and ,make a bold move. PG rating could help boost its marketing

my guess, the Chinese tv industries are too lazy to put that in their drama. it would lessen half the problem with the age viewers

Yes, they did horror films such as the Eye back in mid 2000. I remember twin effects which is a vampire film with Jackie Chan cameo. This is the 1st Chinese anime I've seen with gothic gore theme

Seeing the preview of the upcoming Chinese anime with the dark atmosphere and violence hopefully showed the industries that their audience crave for something new, mature & out of the box.

a lot of anime adaptations tends to lessen the gore in Japan too. we will just have to see when it comes out

Judging by the trailer, the gore was pretty visible where humans became the grotesque monsters

OMG, this upcoming animation creepiness is like a mix of Blackmoon Has the BE script (TTEOTM og title) and Black butler. Looking at the gore & violence, this is why it should be adapted too in this style
