I haven't read it yet but from the other comments it looks like the writer/s really toned down her personality compared to the book, wish they portrayed TTJ and YXW more closely to the way they we're portrayed in the book It would have made the angst more enjoyable

My main issue with this drama is that after the dream arc they have seem to dumb down YXW and made TTJ more softer. Also there's no trust between the two of them in the first place (you cannot call it trust when you have TTJ monitoring YXW and YXW being calculating around TTJ) I'm not surprised with YXW betraying TTJ again also while I do get the need for the misunderstanding between the two of them so they can move to the other arc I wish the writer/s were more clever with the execution at least show a more grounded reason for the betrayals and misunderstandings after all the 3rd arc is about them literally UNDERSTANDING and LEARNING why their 2nd arc ended really bad. Also don't look at TTJ or YXW as pure evil or pure good, both of them are really flawed character (regardless of the irrationality of some their choices). TTJ has been betrayed so many times hence the lack of trust as well as the cruelty of his actions and YXW literally saw her entire clan/sect? Being wipe out by the DG which also resulted to her lack of trust and well flawed choices. I just hope the writing would improve in the following episodes (side note I really want to smack both TTJ and YXW , just fuck*ng talk it out although if the writers have them do that the story will end too fast)
