Whilst SARS was much smaller in 2002-04 but it was very infectious and the death rate was quite high. It happened in Guangzhou & HK were very limited in terms of medical supplies at the time. I lived through that period and people were panicking, it was not nice and people are suspicious of each others. Anyway, I enjoyed the drama very much. At leat HHL & YGH had a civilised conversation with each other. They now recognised of their own shortcomings but HHL loves herself too much so she has decided to live for herself and fulfil her dreams.

Very well said. Some Chinese fans did want YF & DL to be together. I’ve crewed my eyes out at the scenes where XM talked to XCS & when they meet again at the hospital, the emotions between the couple are very captured. XM & XCS are really meant to be together. It was great seeing HHL & YGH had at last a proper & constructive conversation. Had they discussed with each other and worked things through after HHL’s miscarriage, things would have not ended the way it would now for them. They understood of their own marriage’s problems a bit too late. I feel bad for YF, she deserves a better person than CHJ and meet someone that makes her happy. She I has a sharp tongue but she is kindhearted and a loyal friend to XM & XCS. YF has tried to control CHJ at the beginning of their marriage a bit like her mother has been controlling her life but in the end she has to give in to CHJ because he has become so ambitious, malicious and does not know where to stop. The ending with the old gang is perfect. I will watch the drama again.

Though I do not like HHL character but when a woman has a miscarriage, it is very traumatising because there will always be guilt, regrets and always wondering why does this happen to me and why can’t I get pregnant again. Agreed with you but I so wished that we had more scenes of XCS & XM Than his first love with HHL. As for YGH, I don’t know why he is so jealous of XCS, I mean XCS has moved on from HHL and he is leading a happy married life with XM. Why can’t YGH gather himself to even shake XCS’s at their meeting at the restaurant LOL.

I understand from some Chinese fans that YGH’s company are selling defective medical equipments and his company goes bankrupt ( you could see a scene where his assistance was running in his office to tell him about the news and he looks very worried and ran out of the office to speak & check with his subordinates). Then XCS showing up giving him a hand by telling him that his factory can replace the defective parts and will help his company out. YGH, like a jealous jerk that he is then asked XCS, why do still want to help me and to which XCS, such kindhearted friend told looser YGH that because you are my very good friend so I give you a hand. We will see if this will materialise.

I saw the behind the scenes that XM was holding Beibei’s shoulders walking towards XCS and cannot find the link of this video anymore. There was a scene at the dining table where you could see the old gang including XM, XCS, YF, Beibei i assume, TQ, Yangiu & their daughter cheering and I think this scene is taffer XM’s recovery from SARS. I saw another short video when XM woke up from her coma and she was showing the hugging sign as if she wanted to hug her husband & daughter from the ICU room through the glass window, very distressful.

I think in ep 34, YGH said to HHL that he has been told by XCS that his daughter is 10 years old.

I think, Xiao Beibei is 10 years as XCS told YGH & CHJ. TQ & Yanqiu’s daughter is perhaps 13-14 yearns old. There is a time jump so cannot see XM’s pregnancy. I wish the script writers did more work on XM & XCS’s life rather than the triangle love between XCS, HHL & YGH. I have found HHL & YGH’s life very boring and they are both stuck in their past always bringing XCS non-stop and the don’t seem to be content with what they have. They are both immature in their love live and full of resentment with XCS.

Yes I watched that short scene with XM, XCS. A younger little girl sitting at the table with YF, TQ, Yianqiu & their daughter so hopefully the other girl is their daughter.

I am worried about both YGH & CHJ, they both seem vicious to me. From the previews, it looks like CHJ is colluding with Li Shanfu and use Heizi connection to both TQ & XCS to steal their technologies and will frame try to frame XCS. I am just speculating here but it looks like YGH may be in the mix. Both childhood friends are trying to blame XCS for their own failures in life & love life, sigh.

I think China is such a big country with already a huge fan base not only in China but also in SE Asia so they may not feel the need to make an effort to expand the industry abroad which is already huge at home and SE Asia. I think they are many fans from around the world that enjoy watching C dramas so hence we have apps just like WeTV, YOUKU or iqiyi that allow us to watch these dramas.

I hope XM & XCS have a baby as well. There was a short scene in future episode with QT, QT, their kid, XCS, XM, YF & a little girl at the dining table so hopefully it is their daughter.

I have my reservation on CHJ as I still believe that he is jealous of XCS and is up to no good when he is still in business with that scumbag Li & the Ma guy in the medical equipment shop. If I am not mistaken the Ma guy is actually Yanqiu’s boss in the factory and did not want to pay his sister’s salary & their staff but used the cash to play cards. Their first scene at XM’s parents house is so cute. XM’s parents seem really good people.

True, I remember the scene where XCS reading a letter from Duan Lei & he mentioned about having a new girlfriend in the last episodes. I read from Chinese fans that YF will marry him afterwards. We will find out whether it is true or not.

Agreed with you on YF, I love her character and I know many people don’t like her but I prefer straightforward people even the truth hurts sometimes but at least you know where you stand with her. I understand that she will divorce CHJ later on and re-marry Duan Lei. I assume that his business with the jewellery guy will help him save a bit of money to open his own business which is medical equipment if I am not mistaken.
