She was a ballet dancer if I am not mistaken so she is quite flexible in her moves.

I would be more suspicious of the 1st lady Chen Lan as she always said to her daughter Yiyu not to get involved in the Lao’s family’s affairs & politics but perhaps she was plotting against Madam GU behind the scenes? She appears quite ambitious to me

Ikr, poor WZ. Why does he have to suffer so much. I despise these writers. I wish they could add a change with some extra episodes given the fans’ anger withe the BE.

I am also upset with the BE in Ep 40. The writers could have deviated the ending from the novel to be honest.

I cried my eyes out after so much sufferings that WZ has been through & has to die. Freaking old emperor is so power hungry that he wants to kill anyone that may be a potential threat to him. The only consolation is that PY managed to get the new emperor to clear & free the Yuelo people. Thank bloody god that he was not trying to hold JC back like in the novel. JC & WZ’s son is so cute. I have not watched ep 35-39 yet & like you I am so depressed to watch them.

I so wish we have a HE as it is too painful to watch JC grieving for her siphiu’s death & WZ feeling guilty & helplessness of this mess they’re in.
