Personally after having completed the entire thing, i wouldn't recommend it, it's definitely a good watch but it's nothing super memorable and the ending ruins the entire plot the actors/actresses have worked hard to create.
The writer really ruined the ending, i get everyone dying and all but why did BZ get to live? Also why didn't XY express any emotions after finding out that the three ancient demons were absorbed even after going back in time and understanding their history? And lastly why did she go back to that momebt i get it was right before XY AND HY got the red string tied to each other but seriously why couldn't she have gone back in time to actually save everyone. Towards the end the real winner of the entire story is BZ, he should've died first, but he gets to live with his sister. The only villain in this story is really BZ and PP bc why was she also evil and trying to get back at the demons when she knew HY and XY weren't evil
Question for the viewing audience? If you've moved out of your parents house did they keep your old room the same?…
Not sure if it's just my parents but mine have kept my room the same as they've done for my sister as well. But it might also be that we also visit them pretty often and there's no point in chnaging up our rooms.
Can definitely see why some don't like this drama, but personally this is very light and cute. If that's not their vibe, they're welcome to watch others. Ok so, originally thought the drama was going to follow the novel to an extent, but it seems like they're changing a lot more than i thought. Still love this drama though! Omg and Esther is so adorable and bubbly here!
So far, i wouldn't say that this drama lives up to the anticipation. In my opinion, juwon isn't as chaotic as jian jian, like the period scene in the original was really funny and awkward but the whole adoption thing and sanha being the uncle in this did not have the same affect as the original scene. Also, they kind of glossed over juwon befriending sanha as well as haejun slowly winning over juwon (i remember when jian jian kept throwing out zi qiu's luggage or like the scene where jian jian passes food from her plate to zi qiu bc she doesn't like it, but it shows she's warming up to him). However, comparisons aside for a stand alone youth drama, i feel like they did a good job with the introduction to the whole family especially with the two dad's relationship they already feel like a married couple.
For those who have read the novel, did the drama pretty much cover everything in it? I’m tempted to read the…
They did cover most of the novel, however a few scenes and details went by due to the number of episodes (i.e. there was supposed to be a theatre scene with SY, SZ, DJX or the flashback scene where JY pushed DJX off the stairs and his teachers/peers were telling him to apologize to JY. Also, the novel has some extra chapters in which this random student starts stalking SY which i also don't think they'll be able to add to the drama) Basically, i think you definitely should read the novel if you're looking into the small details of drama which they weren't able to add! :)
(Spoiler to the ending)
(not sure if you watched the full 20 episodes but he does disappear and is slowly forgotten as everything about him is erased from existance)
