No waltz scene is before marriage I guess, everyone said marriage is in ep 7-8. Yes engaged is before the waltz scene. The proposal happens in the yacht, waltz scene after that.

Exactly. This is I think in end of ep 5 considering PM proposes her she rejects, then ML tries to dissolve the marriage arrangement. They even stop talking for a while, before deciding to reunite maybe. This is according to the ep 5 preview!

You've got the gist of it. Although nothing is firmly established, I'd like to think that she must know about…
FL's sister in law said, in their history, they have never heard of any royal getting divorced. She was a noble herself who left her status to marry FL's brother. So what she means is in the drama, in the fictional Korea where constitutional monarchy exists, no royal divorce has ever happened.
Now this doesn't mean there is a rule that it cannot happen though, as per me.
Strategically speaking, suppose she becomes the CEO of Castle Group because shareholders support her, cause she is Grand Prince's wife, hence easy investment and high status. She is no less than her brother in status, and more capable as we all know. But after she gets divorced, and she has agreed to take all the brunt of it, why will these stakeholders support her in being the CEO. They will withdraw their support, if not her brother, maybe appoint someone else. But why will they choose to be in the bad books of the royals after supporting FL.

Now we know that the divorce will not happen. But this was FL's initial plan. So either this is a plot loophole or FL has not thought this through well.

Okay I noticed something in the pre-release of Ep 5-6!
The scene where she feeds him, there is no ring in her finger, next scene where he vomits in the yacht deck, she is wearing a ring. So does the marriage proposal happen in yacht, considering we also saw a titanic scene in the trailer in the yacht.

With snippets of ep 5-6 released, along with previews of ep 5 earlier released, the trailer/teasers released at first contains all the scenes from ep 1 to 6 only. The rest 6 episodes are completely different, we haven't seen anything of it, its completely left to our imagination.

My theory is exact same. It feels too direct if he is the villain. He might not be the excellent person, but I…

that's his mom?? what the mess I guess I missed something why does she literally look like she's 30 years old??
Ohh no she is not Grand Prince (ML's) mom. I thought you are asking about the baby king. The woman is King's mother, Grand Prince/ML's sister in law.

Yeah political intrigue is a large part of it varying from a typical romcom hence we can expect a plot twist even if its not my theory. Yes I am liking it too, I hope the screenwriter can end it in a good way as well.

Hahaha! Me watching thrillers and heavy dramas where we have to guess everything on our own, till the last episode. That's why when in a rom com even when they are serving me info in a plate is being refused by me.

Yup. They said ML's mother died 20 years ago, so 2006. ML's father died 7 years later so 2013. I remember them showing a flashback when ML's brother got married he was a crown prince not king, so it should be 2012-2013 around. So Queen Mother got married 13 years back. I will consider her actress's real age to be her fictional age as well, even so she then got married at around 20 so yeah fairly early.

Okay I want to watch this, ahh but the trailer, teaser and cast speak of a love triangle clearly. I hate love triangles, but I will watch 2 episodes to decide though.
On another note- I would rather have Kim Bum and Ahn Hyo Seop's characters ending up together rather than a love triangle. I mean just look at them, can't believe getting them together, but poor Kim Bum has to have a broken heart,,,uhh!
(Okay this is by no chance a shade to the FL. I have never seen her before, but I guess she is nice, I will watch to know more).

The actress is 33 so yeah! Plus its not that uncommon to have a 8 year old child at 30. I mean they are of noble families, with monarchial system, they tend to marry early so.

Yes yes I have okay a theory! So my doubt started because he told King's Nanny, when baby king was playing with FL, that only if there was an age limit to be the king. Now, it does sound correct, but his nanny looked shocked, because it was kind of traitorous to say that. I mean it can be believed he is just having sympathy on the baby king, but I don't know his dialogue delivery there, seemed to me that there was something wrong.
Okay I don't think he tried to kill FL though. Maybe this incident was planned by Lord Yun. But again remember SML did tell FL if she should send some driver and not drive herself but FL refused. Now I do debate if SML is ready to make her collateral damage or not. I am not sure about this.

What I think is, the death of the previous king (ML's brother), even ML's mother, and ML's father (not completely sure because that was a heart attack but it can be induced as well), is done by SML's family. So SML's family has been into politics since generations, his grandfather and father have served as head of the government as well. Now what if they were threatened by the power of the Emperor. Maybe ML's mother was too intelligent, she might have deduced something, hence killed. ML's dad was always shown angry after his wife's death, hence weakening him to see or take care of the country.
Now here comes ML's brother. He was timid, hence very easy for SML to control him. But ML's brother decides to leave the throne. Leaving the throne would result in his brother (ML) being the next king. Now ML is powerful, righteous, brave, even has appeal in the country. SML's family maybe threatened by this. But if ML's brother dies, through natural succession it would be ML's nephew in the throne. A 8 year old is easier to control. Plus ML and his Queen Mother's family are continuously in odds, hence there will be checks and balances, and power will not be in anyone's hand as such.
Okay I thought about this and it is far stretched. There are loopholes to this as well. But honestly I though Queen's father is shown from ep 2 and all villain vibes are focused on him. Even if its a romcom should it be this direct. Even Queen Mother was shown lighting the paper, and next second residence caught fire leading to the death of her husband. I don't know but it is too obvious for me. Plus Lord Yun's character has famous villain character, its easy to doubt him. Also, Steve Noh is a famous actor, I think he wouldn't have just accepted a role where he is simply a simp, I think its more complex that's why he took it, just like Seung Yeon.

Maybe this is not true, maybe the drama does not have twist, and is direct, but I just thought of it. Deep down initially I wished SML to have a platonic relationship with FL, and a good friend of ML, and take their side against others. I still want this, but my mind thinks of these theories disrupting my wishes. I am sorry it became too long, I ranted a lot, lol!

I feel BWS needs more time to improve his skills in playing a romantic lead (as a villain he was close to perfect),…
I kind of agree. I want to really out of all the roles he played Ryu Si O was his peak, though most people think its Seon Jae. True people improve with time. In my understanding, when I am watching a rom com, I don't delve into acting a lot. They should be gorgeous, be cute, and serve the cliche. Like these are my breaks after watching heavy dramas. When its a heavy drama, a thriller, melodrama, crime, I try to see the acting through it.
I saw him in 3 romcoms, I am satisfied, but yes just as you there is always scope of improvement.

Hahaha, then you also know the person I think is the main villain. Honestly I don't him to be, but I think he is, because he too famous as an actor to be just wasted as a simp.
