FL told ML numerous times it was just a kiss, nothing serious, just a fling, why are you so upset about just a kiss, and what not.
When ML finally agreed and said he would not bring that up again, and the kiss was nothing, the FL got teary eyed!! Yeah girl, its hurts!
But I am thankful they move from this finally!

You are completely right. I believe because he is hurt he wants to hurt her as well. FL can choose not to feel back same emotions, its not about returning the same feelings, I think it is about how he felt deceived, she told him she was single, now she suddenly has a husband and son. Yes his anger gets increased because she feels its was just a kiss, while he is in so much love with her.
He is petty in anger, but that doesn't make him toxic from my perspective.

Haha! Thank you! I was pretty angry about people criticizing the ML, when I felt so bad for him! After ranting all of this I am finally relieved !

Yes that was shown in the trailer. He was contemplating whether he should tell the FL about the affair of her so called husband and the SFL. But then he said she is just a simple wife and mother, and that would break her heart. My God! His heart broke but he doesn't want hers to break as well.

If they didn't pause, they would have spoken more about each other! Then this entire scenario wouldn't have happened. She disappeared, so it makes more sense that okay she was about to sleep with him, but then she suddenly remembered she has a husband and son so she ran away. She told him she had family problems, that now became marital troubles. She told him she has been a hermit for ages now, that became due to birth of her son, troubles in marriages, and post recovery, she wasn't sexually active. They just wrote really well, no loose ends!
Honestly, ML reacted in a petty way, but imagine this happened to any normal person, they might have reacted in a even pettier way! But all of this also added to the fun!

Yeah I said that somewhere, we as an audience know what the FL went through, we know because we were shown that how she is pushed to a corner and doesn't really have an alternative except this. But from the ML's perspective, he doesn't know anything about FL's backstory. He just knows that his first love has a husband a child, still kissed him, went on a date, was about to sleep with him, but then disappeared, came back to his office and now acts as if the kiss wasn't a big deal. Thus she becomes a red flag to him, and he is showing anger refusing to let go, because his heart is broken.

I am completely okay with different perspectives. But I think most of the people just forgot that we as viewers know what the FL is going through, ML doesn't. Also by the previews it seems, this reaction is only for 1-2 episodes, which is completely understandable to me.

I just read somewhere, that the ML is toxic. Hmm, nice! Its just if it was the other way round, and the FL would have been deceived by him, people would be like Go Girl! He broke your heart, you break his bones! We hence rarely have kdramas where the man is lying continuously for some problems of his, be it Business proposal, Would you marry me or others, because the makers are catering to an audience who want to see FLs making all kind of mistakes, and MLs being upright men who forgive them instantly. I mean people even understood and defended the FL of Dear X, saying she had such a traumatic childhood, so she lacks emotions, and if men like to be used by her, what's your problem? How did we start making different standards for both the genders?
I mean I understand we live in a delusion world and like to see just green forest MLs being pushovers, but for the first time since long, I have seen a normal ML, who was a green flag, but is standing his ground and being petty after being deceived. His crashout, pettiness, anger, everything is totally VALID and JUSTIFIED!

You are missing an entire fact. She deceived him. She kissed him, faked dated him, dated him for real, kissed him again and almost slept with him. She told him she was single. When he fell in love with her, she disappeared without a single message. He searched everywhere for her. He waited for her. She got the job by lying. Not only did she tell him she had a husband and a son, she also told him the kiss doesn't matter. From his perspective, the FL is a toxic red flag person. He could make a scene in his office, that's his father's company, but he told her to resign. As she did not budge, he became petty.
Dangerous situation? hardwork? she can just resign. When she didn't care for his feelings, why should he care. From his perspective, I don't think its toxic.
Its actually hypocrisy, if it was the other way round, and the guy would have come up with a wife and son later, people would have criticized the hell out of him. Because its the not that way, and people expect kdrama men to be green forests who turn a blind eye to all mistakes of their girlfriends, that doesn't mean he cannot be himself.
We need to remember how he threw off a huge deal because the ex was misbehaving. He has been a gentleman to her all along. She was the one who was drunk almost pushed him, then told her friend and ex, that he was her boyfriend. Everything was started by her, his anger is pretty much valid at this moment, at least for 1-2 episodes, before he began realizing, otherwise he would just be a pushover.
Also we need to remember, we know that FL had no other choice, we understand her decision due to her circumstances, ML doesn't know yet.

It just breaks my heart a little, when FL refers the entire Jeju scenario as an accident, just a kiss, fling etc because I get it, the FL did not really develop feelings for him then, but the ML is so in love, I think he gets more angered by such statements, than the actual incident. Like he is in such a situation, if the FL would confess the truth, he would have gladly forgiven her as well as kept things hidden in the office. But for sure FL is in no position to trust him, so I totally understand her as well.

Generally I hate fraud, lying, misunderstanding tropes. But this drama is doing it really well.

I am so glad ML isn't like some forgiving pushover. He is troubling the FL, because from his perspective he is absolutely right. Also that itself is adding so much fun. While for viewers, FL has no other choice than this fraud. Honestly, I love when writers write it so well that viewers are able to understand both the perspectives very well. It doesn't seem one sided. Also misunderstandings in the earlier episodes are way better than in later stages. We have so many episodes more to go, hopefully they will wrap up this soon, so that we can see their dating era.
Also I really like the scenes between SFL and ML, as well as SML and FL which is new for me, cause generally I tend to skip such scenes. Cliches working properly, romcom is romcoming. The chemistry is wonderful. I don't remember which was the last romcom I liked so much. Need more!

I am just glad Yi Seo did not end up with Geun Soo. He deserves so much. She was very mean to him. Not even once in 8-9 episodes, there was a scene which could convince me that she genuinely cared for her friend.
