Only after seeing comments in MDL, I have realized that tastes highly differ. I myself do not have really high standards rating a drama. I get satisfied easily lol. Few comments seem correct, but some are riddiculous.
After seeing people praise how great Shadow love was, I understood that at the end of the day, your own liking…
This is so true. At the end of the day, we watch for our entertainment. What we like, is important, if it satisfies us, great, if not, okay. No one's taste should be considered superior or inferior to ours, and vice versa.
I agree, in the whole political humor we are shown in ep 34, the court scene where FL knows her worth and talked…
Yeah, she has always been like this. She has just learnt how to bow in front of the Emperor, that also she was copying Li Huai An. She doesn't even know political games, them using her, her coming to the capital for a reason. She can only fight. So her not talking back to them, would be out of character.
So let’s talk about this because I’ve seen some people say that Chang Yu was arrogant in that court scene—and…
I agree, in the whole political humor we are shown in ep 34, the court scene where FL knows her worth and talked back to them was the only one I liked. Also her not doing that would be very out of character for her, considering she hasn't learnt court room decorum or etiquettes as such. She is a simple village butcher, and has always been straightforward. Now some people can see it as a flaw, but its true to her character, that's who she is. To change, if she ever does, it cannot happen overnight.
I have a clarifying question about the drama - so in episode 31 (?) FCY was promoted to General because Lihuai…
Episode 33 and 34 has been officially released. If you see till ep 34, you will understand the whole situation yourself. Otherwise to clear your doubts, I would have to tell you things from ep 34, and that would be a spoiler.
I've long given up regarding this aspect in the dramas, not just POJ. Seems like many directors and writers prefer…
Just to add a point- Though Malicious empress is my fav, but its heavily female centric, and the first 100 chapters, ML doesn't appear a lot, his character arc starts from 101-102 if I remember correctly. You wanted romance based so I just wanted to point that out. All the dramas I mentioned heavily delves in palace politics, with romance being a subplot.

hahaha, maybe after this ends, I should complete it then. Because I really enjoyed all the chapters till I read, but I think I had my exams soon, it was not getting completed, so I put it on hold haha! Yeah I hope they take all best scenes and compile them in the drama.

MoLi was good, Moli is too long, I could not finish it myself. Rebirth of Malicious Empress of Military Lineage, is excellent, but its female centric (This is my favourite). I also liked Ci tang. I did not read Legend of the female general novel myself, but heard it was good as well. Their English translated versions are available in Mydramanovel website.
I wanted to highlight a point after 34 episodes. Every non main lead character in the drama Qi Min, Qian Qian, Gongsun Yin, Princess, Emperor, Sui Yuanqing, Wei Yan, Li Huai An are written from such a main character perception. Like generally in any drama except the main characters, other characters are not given as such importance. But here it wasn't the case, and no it has nothing to do with screentime. Even more minor characters like Wei Xuan, or the Zhao couple or our pig butcher gang or even Shisan, everyone has been given a role to play, dialogues and perception to show in such a way, that they are the main characters of their story, and all their stories align together. That is why even villains seem interesting. Most of the dramas treat supporting cast a props to the leads, but they haven't and have utilized every bit of it. So the director should receive full credit for that.
Edit- How dare I not mention Xie Wu? I want to see more of you.

Yes. MoLi I read few months back, but I got tired, It has 400+ chapter, I remember reading till 300+. It was not boring, I was just too tired hahaha! I don't even remember what I read. So this is a plus point. I will see MoLi without remembering the novel, I will enjoy it better.
