In various parts of the novel or the drama this has been hinted. Example 1- Qian Qian used CPR to save Qi Min when he drowned. CPR is not a traditional method, people in those days did not know about it. Example 2- When Bao'er and Changning were playing together in Qian Qian's place, Changning gave him candy, and he told her that his mother doesn't let him eat candies a lot, because it might cause cavity. The word cavity that was used, is a modern chinese term, not a traditional term. Many Chinese natives have said, Qian Qian sometimes uses many words which are very modern.
In the novel, Qian Qian at the end told only FL, that she has come from a very far away place, a place where it will take thousands of years to return, where she can never return. She lives in the palace and there is no story of her going back. Hence this was only an indication that she might have transmigrated.
The drama might not confirm this, because transmigration plots are heavily censored. Plus someone said the author is a fan of transmigration hence she added this, but honestly this transmigration plot adds nothing to the main story, hence can be avoided.
After reading the novel, his behavior made so much more sense to me. Xie Zheng was literally raised by his uncle…
True. Also I really hope they keep the part when he decided to come back to FL without caring about the fact if her family lead to the killing of his. He even took punishment for that, apologized to his parents, but decided to be with FL regardless of anything in the past.
He does trust her, especially in this episode he saw her determination to find him, her sincerity and her love.…
The only reasoning I think stands true is- He is scared of loosing her after getting reunited with her. They were apart for 2 months, they fought broke up, almost on the verge of divorce, she rejected him. But finally they are together after so long, she has given up on the thought of divorce, wants to go home with him, loves and takes care of him. He knows she will be upset after learning about his lies, might even not want to be with him considering they have a status difference. There was also somewhere written what if FL loves only the poor Yan Zheng, the one she saved in the snow, the one who married to her family, what if she never loves the real Xie Zheng whose powerful, cunning with so many entanglements.
He is lying to her not to protect her or something, but due to his insecurity of loosing her. I am not criticizing him though he should have been more transparent with her, but I still understand his perception, not everything is really black or white, she is the closest person to him, like FL still has her sister, ML is all alone, and fears loosing her, hence trying to postpone the truth reveal as far as he can.
Guys, it looks like we lost the iconic bear scene ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ oh no, that’s my favorite scene!ðŸ˜ðŸ¤§If I remember…
No we did not. We have it in tomorrow's episode, its even in the preview. No in the novel, the scene was after FCY and XZ met, remember she went to enemy camp, brought meat, and supplies, and ML berated her for risking her life. We have that scene, but I think the animal is changed.
I liked Xie Zheng’s scenes with the princess and their little friendship. It’s nice to see a drama where the…
This. Platonic bonds are best tropes in dramas as per me. Two people of the same social background, successful, beautiful, can be friends, here it seemed siblings though lol. Their scenes were so nice. Loved them. Even FL with her butcher squad.
