Was that A Bai as military general?? Why's he there? I thought he returned to that mountain where nameless immortal…
We have to wait for the episodes to release to answer your first question! But I clearly remember him telling Bei Zhou in the forest, that he had some other order to follow given by the Majesty! Bei Zhou even asked him, but he refused to answer. He did not return to his master!
She is not in a very prominent role! Showed once in a flashback, for a 2 seconds. She was a slave or a woman hired…
Yes he was drugged by his stepmother, and then forced by the woman! The entire thing was orchestrated by his step mother. They will mention it in 18-19 episodes! The woman was later killed, the novel mentions it! Drama doesn't mention anything about the woman just the act! Yes as you are in episode 10, you know now, he transmigrated as a kid, the Zhang San's diary memories, its him when he just entered the book!
It only made sense, to be honest. She had always been an emphatic person, and that side of her had been shown…
Exactly! I have seen stupid ML/FL characters, but here FL isn't like that! I also don't think ML was wrong, it was just he doesn't trust 2D characters maybe because of his traumatic experience, I don't blame him! It was just difference in perception! No one was as such wrong! That is why when ML became normal, he apologized and so did FL! That's a very healthy communication! She took 2 minutes to understand there must be something wrong with ML, that's why she ran to him, she is such a nice as well as an intelligent character, far from being stubborn!
watching ep 23 wanyin why are you so stubborn? she shouldn't have gone out she risked her safety and the safety…
If people working for them are dying, people who are sacrificing their lives for the country are dying, as Emperor or Empress on whose personal orders they were working, and they don't even attend the funeral or meet them for one last time, then just like what that scholar Luo Yunxi said its as if their lives don't matter. Practicality is important, but if FL and ML don't even show a little sentiments for the people who die for them, they wouldn't be loyal anymore! They have to trust that the emperor is on their side! That doesn't mean ML was wrong! It was a difference in perception, no one was wrong!
I don't exactly get you! But ML and FL are from the same world/universe! They both are transmigrated to a different…
Yeah SFL is a modern person! SFL has transmigrated from a modern world to a historical world! But SFL thinks that she is a real person, she thinks she transmigrated into a novel, which is true, but she doesn't know that even her world is part of the novel! ML and FL know SFL is a 2D character, SFL doesn't know that, she thinks both FL and ML as well as herself belong from the same world!
Firstly they need to accuse Prince Duan of something! The army head who could witness against him, has been killed…
Yeah Chinese censorship has weird problems! They should let fantasy be fantasy! But I do understand the thing, because Chinese censorship doesn't consider the novel world real, and people who go inside it, always come back and are shown sleeping or in coma or something! They cannot do the opposite. Because if someone from the novel world comes, they need to go back too, but its that's going from the real world to book world! What about the memories of the real people, because its a real world, it cannot be altered! But memories of novel world people doesn't matter because at the end it was just a novel! I do understand the rules, but the reasoning behind them is really weird!
I don't exactly get you! But ML and FL are from the same world/universe! They both are transmigrated to a different…
SFL is from a different world! You asked about ML and FL. ML and FL are from the same world, same universe, the real world! SFL is a 2D character. She is part of a novel, who transmigrated. ML and FL transmigrated into a novel whose story had a girl (Yonger) transmigrating into a novel! Its like you said a multiverse, a novel within a novel! But ML and FL are from the same universe, where Beijing is a city, they are real people, SFL is not!
Firstly they need to accuse Prince Duan of something! The army head who could witness against him, has been killed…
Yeah I do understand! But you know in all transmigration dramas, they keep them in the novel world till the last episode, like I really don't know if there is a rule or not! Even I want a drama that might do 80% in novel world and 20% in real world! Also because this drama is adapted from a novel, they have kept things very close to it, just making very minor changes, hence I think they will keep it like that till the end!
We are told that the Emperor had 4 sons, and 15 daughters! There can be more, but like FL's friend who died in…
Thank you so much! I will check them out on youtube, I love knowing such things! That's why I even wrote in the first, like Emperor being criticized, I mean yes if you think like a modern 21st century person, he is a douche bag but at that point of time, this was very normal! I am so glad they are showing this, that how tragic the lives of these women were!
100% you can have your opinion. I was just curious! I loved the drama too! It was very silly and funny! Honestly even in ADWAD they didn't tell us how ML reached FL's world. In this drama ML and FL are both transmigrators so hence its inevitable that they will meet in the real world! But in most of the dramas, only one of them is a transmigrator, they never explain that, ADWAD also didn't do, so it was okay for me! Yes in both ADWAD and My page, there were three worlds! One was FL's world where she lived, second was ML's world where FL was transmigrated. Both of them live in ML's world then meet in FL's world! But the entire thing is like a book/novel being written by someone in the real world! This is done to escape Chinese censorship! For me as long as both the leads remember each other, hug and reunite in the real world, I really wouldn't care how he came there, because FL going to the other world was vague too! At the end they showed fantasy! But yes, firstly China should stop these weird censorship rules, like why can't I watch 28 episodes when they have shot 28 episodes? Also what's with this say no to transmigration, no reincarnation, let people enjoy stuff! Even this drama you know, it was cut from 40 to 32, and Unveil Jadewind was cut from 40 to 34! We are missing so much!
Why did My page in the 90s traumatized you? It had a happy ending! I do agree it made us cry in the last four episodes! But they gave a lot! They recognized, hugged and kissed! They remember each other and its a happy ending. Even the second leads were shown holding hands? Have you seen other transmigration dramas, they barely stare at each other and they leave it at that! My page in the 90s and A dream within a dream were so good that they gave us good endings, where the leads remember each other, have memories and reunite! I will be satisfied with that ending here as well! Because no way China's censorship will allow them to live in this world, or even consider this as real! They have to return!
To give you a little hope, SFL was a 2D character, she transmigrated from a part of novel to another part! So hopefully when she dies, she goes back to her mother! And I don't know if they would show or not, but in the novel after FL and ML transmigrated back to the real world, FL saw Yonger working as an actress!
Why is this guy Prince duan still alive? I thought that the imperial army is under ML now. Why can't they off…
Firstly they need to accuse Prince Duan of something! The army head who could witness against him, has been killed by Duan! Emperor cannot execute a prince without any offense! Also he is a prince who is popular in the country, people, ministers are in favour of him! Killing him like that will make the ML "tyrant" again, something the leads are trying to change. Secondly this was discussed in the second episode! ML did tell her that when we know lets just kill Duan, in episode 2. But Duan is the ML of the novel. FL fears killing the male lead when he is not supposed to dead, might alter fates of everyone, might disrupt the novel world, they don't know what would happen if the ML dies, its like the end of the novel! She fears the novel world might end or get destroyed leading to deaths of themselves as well, hence they had they dropped the idea. Thirdly its just episode 25, if they kill him, what are they supposed to show for the rest 7 episodes! They have showcased him as a powerful villain hence his end should be dramatic as well! But yes I do realize we all are pissed on him, this is a sentiment we all share collectively! Only he sympathizes with him, no one else, such a brat!
We are told that the Emperor had 4 sons, and 15 daughters! There can be more, but like FL's friend who died in…
I saw a drama like that, I don't remember the name! But the emperor died, and all his concubines were buried, FL was one of them and she somehow escaped, while noble consorts and queens lived. Maybe that drama was based in Ming Dynasty! So pathetic that people had to go through this!
Is Prince duan the real ML of the novel? He's evil than the "real" villain, dan is a tyrant but only when…
There are two ways to see it! Firstly the novel was through the perception of Duan, he is the male lead, only his perception was shown. He being born to a maid, who died due to ML's mother (according to him). He was treated badly by everyone in childhood, considered bad blood, discriminated against, made ML's study companion and humiliated everyday. He grows up to be a master strategist, someone who is a good person who wants power to defeat the tyrant who is a bad king, taking the kingdom towards doom, with drought and other problems! He was considered the knight in shining armour for the empire. His one true love FL became the concubine of the tyrant, he was depressed but he still fought back.
This was the novel's approach. It never cared to show us what the steps Duan would take to gain power, and because he is the ML no one really cares as long as he wins!
Another approach- Its possible the real Duan was not as trash as this one is! ML and FL's transmigration might have changed a lot of stuff! FL, ML and SFL's character change, the guy in the library dying way earlier than he was supposed to, scholars who hated ML being able to support him, Yan prince supporting him! So its possible that due to actual transmigration and characters not following the regular script, it altered the fates of the characters!
The woman was later killed, the novel mentions it! Drama doesn't mention anything about the woman just the act!
Yes as you are in episode 10, you know now, he transmigrated as a kid, the Zhang San's diary memories, its him when he just entered the book!
