Also Dan there was absolutely no necessity to save the evil step mother of yours. She was getting killed by the Yan people, why did you have to shoot him? You should have waited till he kills the witch before you kill him. Huhh, but I know her death will be satisfactory as well.

In this drama, they have constantly told us that it doesn't matter if you're a transmigrator or 2D character, if you want to take different decision, the script will not force you, everyone with their will power can do what they want to do. Just like those scholars who hated tyrant ML but changed after knowing him, like novel SML was a good person but he changed. The novel world stopped being the same when ML transmigrated first, later FL.

Yes in ADWAD, they had to do things mentioned in the script, they had no choice. Here, not only the transmigrators can make their own choice, with their push/motivation even the 2D characters can alter their choices! Completely different concept!

Yes I have read the novel! The novel and the drama is same, they have adapted well! But the same face thing was not in the novel, because again we are reading it. It took me my surprise as well when it was the same actor doing the two roles, but I was sure crown prince did not transmigrate, its just the ML. Then I understood by clothes, and other things, they just wanted to show its ML's son hence looks like him. Very clever of them to even confuse the novel readers!

Yes for the 2D characters it was black and white. ML was bad he was a mad tyrant, no one noticed the circumstances he lived in. SML was good because he is defeating the tyrant, no one notices what steps/choices SML is taking to defeat ML.
Its only FL and ML who have the willpower, to change everything!

ML's childhood and his son, the current crown prince, is being played by the same actor, in order to showcase that he is ML's son! Zhang is ML's real name, in every episode in the end, Zhang's diary, all the memories shown are ML's memories 15 years back when he first transmigrated into the novel. ML wears black clothes.
His son wears white clothes, he was just roaming around the garden when he met FL, it was just a coincidence, but to confuse audience!
ML was shocked because it was ML, Zhang who planted the SOS 15 years back, waiting everyday for someone to find it out. FL finds out that, but ML cannot tell her that he planted them because its done by someone who has been present in the novel world for long, not someone who just transmigrated as he has lied to FL.

I will watch Chasing Jade in March. Also I will give a chance to Legend of the Rosy clouds, the plot looks fun and I like the leads, tentative schedule in March. Though I have a list of other dramas for upcoming but there are no confirm airing dates, so pretty sad about that!

They had to in order to confirm that they were right! This is because ig FL and ML's transmigration was not a part of the novel, hence they felt maybe few things changed in the novel. They didn't know if the transmigration for SFL happened or was yet to happen! They also didn't know about SML as well. Because the novel could change, anything could happen. Hence they were confirming before planning their next steps!

No she is a 2D character. Only ML and FL are from the real world! They read a novel in the real world, whose plot was a girl transmigrating into a novel, Yonger is that girl, but she is still part of the novel. She is just from the modern world hence can speak English know technological developments of the modern world, but she isn't like ML and FL! Its a novel within a novel!

Yes the mission is surviving! Though later, they decide they want good for the kingdom, and according to the novel, few things destroy the empire, hence they do their best to prevent that, hence becoming real/good rulers of the Empire!

Even after 18 episodes, there is still no dull moment! You can skip to those moments, but the story is complicated, if you don't watch the previous episodes, its high chance you wouldn't understand what's happening later. But we do not still have their confession. They kiss in episode 19-20, that's today, yet to be released.
In the novel ML was a tyrant, a bad king. FL and ML both were bad and were killed by SML who later becomes the king. But ML and FL are transmigrators, they are not bad people. If they don't do anything and let the story go on, they will be killed, hence they want to defeat the SML. They later realize SML is a bad person, he can do anything for power, the story is now different than what is was in the novel!

No they didn't! They show the same thing!

The novel did not mention that! There was no one of that second identity! That is why FL actually fell for the second identity! ML actually kept it from her that he was the same person! The novel had portrayed ML really bad, he cheated on her with her sister, chose her sister over her, tried to kill her. It was after transmigration, that it was shown that ML wasn't bad at all! But FL never knew that. The novel that she read and what really happened was different, which lead her to understand that the characters in the novel had willpower to change their fate.
Its like, in this drama, FL trusted ML because he is a transmigrator, so she knows he is no tyrant or evil person in the first episode. If he wasn't FL wouldn't have trusted him at all! Like Yonger trusted Duan because she had read he was a good person!
In transmigration dramas, they always go by the script, believing it to be real, but I think its their transmigration which changes course of events and alters characters!

Yes its lot more serious now! Comedy is there, but the balance is heavier towards serious things! Dark was his past, we are also knowing that little by little so yeah!
