Envoy of Yan heard some people speaking about Shanyi being a great dancer, he was was displeased. Empress Dowager and her servant spoke about how ML might not perform in the bedroom anymore after his traumatic past with the assassin beauty of Yan state. Just a guess, fellow novel readers or others with theories, may feel free to shed light on this!

The current crown prince (who always wears white clothes) is indeed our ML's son! Yes the same actor is portraying the roles of ML's childhood and the current crown prince! Just to understand better, ML wears black clothes, his son wears white clothes usually! ML was groomed and raped/forced to have a child/heir, the entire thing was orchestrated by his step mother. Crown Prince's mother was a dancer/concubine from Yan empire (whose envoys are currently in the palace). After giving birth, she was killed! This is what I know through the novel! This is because the 2D characters here think this world is real. Yonger thinks her world is here. So there might be people who even think that the world ML and FL belong to is not real! The entire thing can be mirage! It can be a novel within a novel again within a novel! ML is very smart, and he has been continuously helping FL, he is just not serving a face card. But why is it important for him to know fighting? He is an astronomer, wouldn't it be weird as per his character graph to know martial arts! No offence to you, we all can have different perceptions, because this is just an entertainment platform. Honestly I really love when both are strong with fighting skills and are also smart, but there are projects like that also! We can have everything, but this for a change is good! Huaijin might be weak physically but mentally is very strong, and capable!
