Absolutely, not a lot muscles but a little muscles. Just not the men. I even love women a little healthier. I don't why chinese dramas have set such norms and standards. And I don't mean to bodyshame or something. I always feel so concerned looking at some of them, like they look gorgeous but they might have to starve for this. I always felt that maybe with a little put on weight, actors could look way cuter and be healthy as well. Our leads in this drama looked so pretty, not them, I am speaking about others.
im not sure about the game aspect of this drama, so someone convince to watch it without spoiling too much and…
The game part is not too much. It has nothing to do with the real life part except that the leads met there, and they had really nice moments during the games they played. But it does not have a lot of screentime especially after ep 12-13! But its really enjoyable. The drama is fantastic! Well written characters, cheerful mature smart FL, and cold but not so cold, hot very smart ML. Chemistry out of the world! Its a rom-com with a little suspense! Very enjoyable! Also there are many kiss scenes, dating era was well served!
question for those who finished it, how's the triangle? is it over the top or too much time or focus on the 2ML,…
Love triangle doesn't exist here! SML didn't even care about FL too much, she was only like a tool for him to use against ML. But he failed. FL disliked him always and even used to taunt him. They became colleagues later, had a professional relationship. SML fell for her, but I wouldn't he did many things to pursue her. FL was too smart and much in love with ML to even see him. He moves on in ep 27. He did like her, but they did not have so many scenes alone, so it actually didn't matter so much. He did one evil thing though but FL knew within a second and hated him for that.
They will reveal the killer, truth of what happened, ML getting relief from the case, FL's father's retrial, innocence, happy ending, nice moments, everything in 2 episodes? My God they should have started to wrap this up from today only, it might get chaotic at the end. At least leads finally confessed and kissed! It was so funny that public accused them of living together and personal bond, so they went away together to a jungle cabin, ate food together, confessed and kissed and spent the night! Lol! They be like we are going to do as we wish, rest everyone can go to hell!

You did not see the kissing part? She saw them kissing. The man took more than 30 seconds to push away the woman. He lied to his wife continuously, hid important things from his wife. Went to eat out with that woman continuously without mentioning any of it to his wife. Continuously chatted with the other woman, and not work related. He was using the woman's liking of himself to gain the deal. She loved him, he cheated on her, even if we ignore the kiss, he still cheated. No woman such a man.
the clips/bits i have seen look sooo good! i hope it's just as good as lbl so i can fill the void.
They worked together in Wow the World- variety show, and I think they were the best part of it, they are also childhood friends, so the bickering makes all sense!
So kind of CXX to release another drama 2 days later, with Wang Yuwen! Maybe that will help me survive this "nothingness" I am feeling now! To those interested its called My Page in the 90s (previously titled A sudden love) where CXX plays a hot CEO.
I always thought Hidden Love would be the best Modern c-drama I ever watched, especially because it was the drama that brought me into Cdramas. But if not more than it, this drama equals it for me! I will always remember this as something which gave so much happiness!
The scenes were brilliant. Detailing, aesthetics, characters everything is well done! CXX and LYX were brilliant, had chemistry out of the world, Dai Xu was so good, he always made me wonder if I hate him or sympathize with him, maybe both! Second couple were too pretty, and I am glad what they did with them, with a kind of an indication but not something too deliberate. FL's friend's ex, the actor again brilliant!
I also will always remember how we saw episodes everyday discussed debated characters, made it such a wonderful forum with wonderful people. It was really fun. It broke my heart when I finally clicked on the 'completed' button! I will never get over this!
