The Fl's issues with her mother definitely needed a closure, because they bought that up themselves in earlier…
I felt it was romantic, because she wanted to help the ML on the issue of Hash, because she liked him. That's why even when the second ML told her that this case wouldn't be counted in her performance, because its like something they are just doing for the ML, she still agreed, because she sees him more than a mentor. I also think she did that not only for that case, but also she knew he liked the twins and that's a way for her to spend time with him, outside office. I believe ep 11 wasn't great, especially for someone who would just expect legal cases. But yes as someone who wants to see a blend of both personal as well as legal, I liked it. Also depends on perspective, because I really believe they should end up together, so the scenes really seem meaningful to me. But I get your perspective too.
The best part of behind the scenes, in all Cheng Lei dramas are him being a photographer for his costars, be it LOTFG, Shadow Love and now Footprints of change. I mean that's so cute, him taking pictures of all of them from different angles.
Ep 11 was such a let down with the story going all over the place. Why couldn’t they just focus all the brilliant…
The Fl's issues with her mother definitely needed a closure, because they bought that up themselves in earlier episodes, so they need to wrap that up as well. I am glad they did it now, and not wait for the final episode. But the ex wife, I thought that was done and dusted, but they still brought that up. Ep 11 would only make sense if the leads are together by ep 12, otherwise I don't really understand why they would show all the twins, hash, leads happy scenes, and how FL consoles and supports him. Office politics is a let down though.
PLEASE MAKE LONGER EP 16😭😭😭😭😭,,, I REALLLY LOVING THIS SO MUCHHHHHH. AND NEXT EPISODE HAVING FINALLY…
16? I wouldn't mind 20 also. I really don't get why they had to reduce from 16 to 12 for all the dramas these days. I mean if they really start to date from ep 12, we should at least be getting office romance, and post- work/office dates.
I did not watch today's episode, because of the angst. Can't wait to catch up tomorrow with all the 8 episodes together. Hoping they don't betray us and release all of them together. Also hoping for a little angst, a beautiful reunion, fighting against all odds together, and definitely not a rushed ending, but an ending full of sweet & happy moments for our leads. One last time guys!
This drama is so well written. & This has been my first statement after watching every episode till now. Generally dramas do not depict a grey side, a mix of what is right or what is wrong. This drama does this numerous times. Many hate the toxic ex wife, some might not. The mother of the FL made questionable decisions, regrets them, but also has justification, which some might feel right some might not. It makes even one question themselves about morals and ethics of oneself. Romance or not ( who am I kidding, that intense stare at the end of the episode 11, oh my God), its excellent. I can't believe tomorrow is going to be the last episode. I could have watched it forever. The scene with the twins, Hash, FL & ML, oh my God! Also it was so funny that second ML was so agitated during the meeting with the ex wife's husband. The FL and her mother's scene was so touching. The ex wife and the ML's scene on the other hand, I really don't know, maybe I need to clear my thoughts first before commenting on that. The office politics is the only thing I am not liking too much.
So glad I didn't watch this. I can't stand baiting with romance.
The moments are fantastic, and I also loved how they built up their relation. But I think there should be a fixed answer. Even if they don't end up together, I would feel a little bad, but that's all. But I think a clear answer should have been given from at least 5-6 episode. We should know where it is going. Still the drama otherwise is fantastic. Yeah the second leads are really nice. I have no such problem with slow burn. I even watch Vincenzo, Flex X Cop and many others, but at least I knew what we are getting by the end. But here, they made us debating the entire time.
Are the directors not able to decide if they want romance or not among the leads. I mean take one path. Why would you walk in the middle? Either take all our hope and pour it in the dustbin or tell us there is romance. The director gives an interview saying he told the ML to not to look towards the FL with love, but only respect and admiration. Then comes the Ep 12 preview? I mean why are we supposed to guess about what is about to happen for 12 episodes. Such a torture.
On a side note, I am so sad, its ending tomorrow. No kdrama amazed me so much this entire year more than this. How am I supposed to recover from this? Huhh!
I don't think anyone who loved LOTFG a lot, can move on quickly. I took a one week break from all the dramas after…
I get you! I was the same. The FL acting wise did really nice. The chemistry is nice as well. But I would still prefer the chemistry in LOTFG over this. But in all other aspects, I think this is better. The Romance is a very big part. We did not see so much in LOTFG. I think someone who likes Cheng Lei, would enjoy this as well. So do try!
Anyone else thinking the fake empress of ML‘s country should marry the narcissistic sociopath emperor of FL’s…
I thought about it few episodes back, and then thought maybe I am crazy for such a thought. I am so glad I found other people sharing the same thought. Yes their marriage would be so good!
is this a worth watching drama? ,here after lotfg, I can't get over that drama and I'm here because of Cheng lei,…
I don't think anyone who loved LOTFG a lot, can move on quickly. I took a one week break from all the dramas after that ended and saw the stills/clips of this show, even when it got started. But this show is equally good. Honestly for the first two days it seemed as if I was cheating on Zhou Ye, lol! But trust me the drama is worth it. The FL is good, I have seen her before. Cheng Lei is amazing, he got a better platform to show his versatile acting honestly. He plays three personalities and he aced it completely. Also both the shows are not at all similar except the fact that both FLs are generals. So you can give it a shot, but maybe take a break first, otherwise your mind would always compare the two dramas.
Oh my. We're not giving enough credit to Cheng Lei for his acting ability. That scene in ep.30 where he reveals…
This entire drama is the best platform for Cheng Lei to show his versatile acting performance. He got to play 3 different personalities in a same drama. He got the chance, took it, aced it. I mean he was too good in LOTFG too, but this show gave him better chance to show his acting range. If you watch his latest drama released yesterday that is Footprints of Change, he plays a lawyer and oh my god, he aced that too.
