But she already finished the surgery in ep 12 why till 18?
It doesn't work like that. Surgery done, and he will run, no. There will be some post surgery rest, learnings, medicine, aftermath. Otherwise it wouldn't be genuine. The man has not been able to stand up for the last 8 years. In episode 16's teaser, ML is able to stand up, and place his foot on the ground and move a little with the help of crunches. So by that logic, episode 18 should hopefully make him walk properly.
Mo Jing Li said Guo Jin ( I suppose Empress D ) had an eye on throne, but can someone other than heir of Emperor…
Heir of Emperor is the Crown Prince (MJL's dad). Emperor died, Crown Prince died. Rightful heir should be MJL. But Empress Dowager's son is also Emperor's son, though born of a concubine. In palace, court, factions of power, support means everything. And as we hear, Marquis Muyang's powerful faction supported her, hence she was able to place her son as the Emperor. Lishan supported Mo Jingli, crown prince's son. Lishan was powerful, hence they killed some, and isolated the entire thing.
Guys by episode 20 ML should start walking properly without any help, and if we are lucky then maybe 18-19. I will miss the wheelchair a little though, hopefully we get a wheelchair kiss before that.
I disagree a little bit, I think because you guys read the novel and so did I, we expect him to be as bad the…
Yes same, I feel the exact same. No, even I am enjoying the drama very much. For sure not everything can be liked by everyone, but that's doesn't make the drama bad at all.
Nahh, I understand you, but this story is not as straightforward as you said. FL hates the SML, she almost wants to kill him. But the thing is SML doesn't deserve that, he is pitiful, faced same difficulties as ML and FL, but due to situations he has suddenly become the bad guy. I want to tell you, the background of SML could have been given to any ML, and that would have easily worked out, everyone would have justified his upcoming actions. But nope this story isn't about boundaries, and jealousy and all. Very complex characters, and FL hates SML. SML, FL and ML stories are equally important and they are tied together.

I think differently though. 1. The drama is complex in itself, with FL being really complex, I don't understand why even SML has to be a complex guy here. Some things should be kept straightforward. 2. I am up for changes in the drama, I love this Yeli way more than novel Yeli. But changing even the basic characteristic of SML, whom we all have hated in the novel, to some pitiful guy is a bad move for me. Now I feel bad for a guy who is harassing a married lady, because I understand him now, which I don't want to. 3. Rightfully he is the heir to the throne. So whatever he does now would seem justifiable. If the drama shows him joining hands with FL and ML, that would be a good move, considering their enemy is the same. But they won't show that. FL hates him already. ML is very loyal to the current king. So the drama would I am guessing would make him rebel, and then get defeated by the leads, making him a tragic hero. From my perspective, this is unnecessary complications which could have been easily avoided. But yes I do understand your perception as well.
I swear Mo Li’s lap and face touch scenes feels so natural. Their show of affection feels so damn natural. I’m…
They are the most natural couple of this year. Nothing is awkward between them, just too good. No drama did arrange marriage concept better than this one.
Exactly. If they wanted to they could show him feel bad about Ying, but the next morning he is again Yeli will understand me. I also sympathized with him after his backstory. Honestly if he could move on with Ye Ying, and claim the throne, it wouldn't be so wrong. In fact join hands with MXY and Yeli. Their enemy is common. That would be a good character development. But the teasers doesn't seem going to that direction. They would make him a villain, but then he will end up being a tragic hero.
He was a brat. 300 times more annoying than here. Treated Yeli with disrespect. Had an affair with Yeli's sister. He left her. He had no love for her. No sad background story. He was the Emperor's biological brother, empress Dowager's favourite son. That's why his deeds later in the novel, I am avoiding the spoilers for you, make him a villain there. Something he did in greed, something he could easily avoid. But here everything he does now (except the things I mentioned in the original comment) would seem justifiable. Here he also loves Yeli truly, he had no intention of getting married to anyone else. Even when we saw both Yeli and his perspective together, I do feel bad for him. Yes Yeli can choose not to forgive him, but he was a kid, what could he have done.
I am sorry, but I am not really happy about whitewashing Mo Jingli. I am only upset on him because he is harassing a married lady, not caring for his own wife, and is annoying. But other than that??? They could have followed the novel in this regard, I feel.
