No she wasn't. She was partial, discriminated between the two sisters for sure, gave bad advices, even told Yeli to let one of her sisters (she had many in the novel) become a concubine to Mo Xiu Yao. Ahh, irritating oldie. But she wasn't a killer at all.

No no not here. Honestly this comment section has been really good. Its okay to criticize a drama. Some people here have done that, some points are meaningful. Its also okay to drop or not drop, completely their wish. But I clearly mentioned C-ent X and Weibo in my original comment. I am speaking against the hatred against the actors. Nothing else.
I had lost all my hope in cdrama social media. Fandom wars, criticism, putting down each other, even if their favourites have done excellent work together, or were friends, were such a big part of c-ent X or Weibo (heard its excessive there). But since the last two days, I have seen Lurongs defend Cheng Lei, and Chengtuos defend Bai Lu, and my hope in c-ent social media is re-established. There are good sane people out there as well.
Anyone can feel the drama is boring, completely your decision. Its a very unique drama, with very complex characters, so enjoying it or not, is your decision for sure. Criticizing acting with no meaningful comments, but vague things, because you cannot understand complex characters, is so freaking weird.

But yes that scene when Yeli applied the medicine only to one leg, I thought the same. I think just a missed scene, maybe she would apply it later or has applied in one of the legs before. Because nowhere it is told or even depicted that one of his legs is fine.
