I love that his wing lady let the cat out the bag and told everyone in the office, and they all complemented him…
I actually thought that was really tacky. No wonder they ran away.
His colleagues should give the boy his privacy and let him introduce his other half at this own pace. Not crash someone's date! They made Sang Zhi scared to ever eat at that restaurant again! I can't say I blame her. No one likes to be on display, especially when they aren't prepared for it.
DJX mumbles to himself "Qian Fei is much smarter than he looks" gotta give it to QF. He deserves applause for moving the plot along. Otherwise DJX and SZ would dance around each other forever. I've gotta say, I'm liking this aggressive DJX. Now he knows she loves him, he's certainly not holding back. Can't wait to see his moves in future episodes! Squeeeeee.......!!!!!
Xu Kai did not dub his character's voice. He has a very strong Taiwanese accent that does not fit with standard…
If they did not, then it seems that they consistently use the same dubber for most of his voice work as I could honestly swear that he sounds the same from drama to drama.
they also have a habit where the female lead never answer question about her age, which is consistence until you…
'What part of the 9 years old JE falls for Seo ha? do they interacted before she stalked him? is there anything the 18th years old Seo ha do or makes the 9 years old JE falls for?'
I thought this question was answered in one of the earlier responses. When JuWon meets Seo ha for the first time, she felt something for him, that she never felt in her past 17 lives and that is why he was so special to her.
Yes. And the dancer was the one who changed the flowers in the lobby.
Not really. I’ve read spoilers below that he’s a friend from a past life who has the same abilities she has. What I’m really curious about is to find out why she remembers her past lives, and when does she stop reincarnating?

Actually, she did answer a question about her age only once in this drama. I believe it was in her 18th life, when Seo ha asked how old she was, she said 900 years old, but he thought it was a joke. I don’t get too hung up about the age thing, the show wants the viewers to believe that age is nothing but a number, and the soul is more important, when a person retains all memories of their past lives, how old they are at any given time pales in significance. The FL IS. pushy. Some may see it as invasive, others might think it refreshing and charming. In this case, because we’ve been told about their back story, the viewer is inclined to think it is charmingly consistent with their childhood romance. But if she were the 2nd FL in another story, the viewers would hate her pushiness as she doesn’t respect boundaries or personal space. In real life, I’d most likely avoid that person because it could be construed as harassment.
I dislike the arc they give to Situ Hong, as he started out righteous but now is turning into a self righteous prig. There are other arcs they could have given him instead of the one who is jealous of the perfect, well liked male lead. Tbh, it’s not like his complaints have no merit. He is badly treated when compared to how everyone fawns over the ML, no one has much, if any, regard for him, and he is an equally talented martial artist. Now if the treatment from everyone was a little more skewed in his favor, maybe his jealousy wouldn’t have taken root to grow. I disliked how the FL refused to spar with him, because her main love was missing, but she got a pass for that; and how the second FL couldn’t offer some soup to him and his cousin, although there was plenty left over. And how, when his cousin was missing, it was kind of glossed over. To be fair to everyone, Situ Hong would’ve been probably more well liked if he didn’t have such a nasty and malicious cousin.
Ending is clear, read more about it herehttps://kisskh.at/discussions/hu-xin/106609-ending-explanation
I think you are right. Cultural differences and the fact that international audiences need to process the subs might make it difficult for an international audience like me to understand.
DJX has always treated SZ special, even if he isn’t in love with her at the moment. He shows up when she needs him, is concerned for her, constantly worries and cares for her and opens up to her, especially when he is closed off to a lot of other people . He even kept her picture framed, and when she ghosted him, he constantly asked about her welfare. If that isn’t the very definition of love, then I don’t know what is. I think because of her age, he put blocks in his mind that she’s a ‘no go’ area, but had they been closer in age, the story would have been much different. I don’t buy the idea that he’s treating her just like a sister, because it’s more. What brother would worry about if he’s offended his sister by his words or teasing? Most brothers would most likely brush it off - sibling relationships are resilient because they can take a lot of abuse. For most people your sibling relationships are the ones that need the least maintenance, we give and receive offenses easily and just move on. We bicker, squabble, rough house and still the relationship continues like an elastic band. I can’t wait for DJX to give a name to his feelings and finally acknowledge the meimei that is standing right by his side. He’s about to see a new side of SZ. These next episodes look very interesting!
