seeing trailer 39...now I understand why yh was crying bitterly šŖher shifu died but she hasn't called him shifu…
I knew that was going to happen when she refused to call him shifu. In xanxia dramas thereās no such thing as ānext timeā. I knew she was going to regret it.
I love how the amnesia plot was handled in this drama.
So natural! No big reveal, just gradual reminders and his memory returning piece by piece. So realistic! I love how this drama always circumvents tropes.
Lemme tell you an unpopular opinion. RXZ may be a great doctor, a good teacher. But he is an irresponsible father,…
@Forhad Ahmed Niloy
Agree with you 100%. I was irked when he decided to sell his wife's house (when he never paid the mortgage on it, once). And then his master's house ( I wonder that he wasn't even embarrassed by accepting it). He had many ways he could legally have raised the funds to support his school, like accepting donations or corporate sponsorship, if he was selfless then he would've accepted those instead of financially jeopardizing his family.
Just finished it yesterday and I didn't like the ending despite being happy ending it was rushedHow did they make…
The writer fails heavily on conflict resolution. She's good at introducing it, but she can't resolve it for the world. All offenses, criminal acts and insults are automatically forgiven, slate wiped clean as if they never happened, without discussion or apology. smh.
Episode 38: I feel like when LL introduced TT to her grandparents and TT introduced herself as Mr RENās student…
I think she was caught in a very uncomfortable situation. Not everyone relishes being someone's 'love child' especially in a conservative society like China (though it's opening up) and especially with the older generation. She was uncomfortable so she high-tailed it out of there. And to be honest, LL did put her on the spot. LL is clearly on the outs with her husband after he made his grand announcement. She hasn't accepted TT, so how will TT feel comfortable being introduced to a 3rd party in that manner and circumstance?
Zhao Lu Si and Luo Yi Zhouās chemistry is wasted on this drama. I canāt help hoping that they star in another drama together, preferably a modern romcom. Iām relieved that the ending of this drama was much better than I expected, though, considering the Covid tangent and all.
Maybe they're planning on S2? I don't know. I agree, why bring it up if you're not going to resolve it? Just to…
S2 is a near impossibility as far as I'm concerned. More popular dramas than these never got a second season even though they ended on a cliff hanger. I highly doubt that the creators of this production had a second season in mind when they ended this.
not all orphans in the world can find/know about their true parents, i know that. but i wish in this drama they…
The viewers wouldn't have given any concerns about TT origins if the drama hadn't spun it as a plot line. They can't raise the issue with viewers with such an impact and then drop it without any closure on that tangent. If they didn't know who her parents were, then why bring it up and make the couple split up over it? What shoddy writing!
Maybe Iām being overly sensitive, but I was very ticked off that Li Quanās mentor wasnāt even grateful for TT protecting him, and treating him. She wouldnāt be in this mess, if she wasnāt trying to save him. He was conscious the whole time but just dismissed what she did and asked for a male attendant. I really donāt care for this condescending patronizing attitude from these middle aged men!
Am I the only one in disbelief and disgust when the two guys were joking around in the hospital as if all is alright…
Yeah. I was also surprised at how this drama makes light of TTās parentage . Like, who are her parents and when will RXZ clear it up that he lied? Heās clearly hurting at least three people with his lies. If I were TT, Iād simply go for a DNA test with RTZ to clear up the fact that they are not siblings. I mean, this is the 21st century and they are in the medical field. Isnāt this a piece of cake?
I so agree. I thought he would always sweet and good hearted. Unfortunately, he had to have one of the worst fathers…
No, I think MMās parents are much worse than his. One uses their child as a cash cow, the other wants their child to be a perfect status symbol and have no time or tolerance for her shortcomingsā¦.
Iām glad TTās friend rejected LQ (even though that most likely contributed to his pressure to make huge money quickly). As she would have been pulled into his mess. A personās character is formed by the adversities he faces. I agree that Li Qian is under tremendous pressure from his parents and society that made him splinter and choose the wrong path. And his father treated him like some kind of ATM machine. Still I wish he hadnāt lied and stolen from the companyā¦..
Hi! I am not sure if you notice when RXZ and Ling Lan is talking, he smiled at the end when he replied to his…
I agree he's proud of his son. But he is also envious of him. I have to commend the actor as he was able to convey both emotions successfully in the span of a few minutes. RXZ wife picked up on this and just laughed. Her humor is what keeps their relationship going, because she entices him to laugh at this own absurdities.
