If he could do something, he wouldn't just have reported her to her mother and stormed off. His wife doesn't respect him and empowers her daughter to break the rules with impunity.
Maybe... because he can't? He seems to have no power in the relationship. Especially since his wife is so ruthless. In the past, princess consorts hold no real power. And it seems that he was in love with Jiang Si's mom - probably forced to marry the Grand Princess because SHE loved HIM, not the other way round. Which would explain why in Jiang Si's first life, she was ruthless in getting Yu Qi for her daughter.
So on ep 6, are they really referring to the spilled milk on his pants, as you know, the other creamy stuff??…
If it was a full length drama, it probably would have been. But as of now short length dramas are not censored although that is rapidly going to change.
Here's the thing. Her father DIDN'T love her romantically, but still died of mysterious causes. What's the explanation for that?! It boggles the mind that a poisonous snake would bite her knowing that her father had gum infection and would die from sucking the poison out. Who cursed her? I hope the drama would go back to the very beginning so the viewer can understand the genesis of the whole thing.
Theoretically, yes, if they love her romantically, and assuming the curse isn't her mother or something or some…

Absolutely. It's a very good thriller drama. I don't understand the hate the drama gets because people misread the synopsis on MDL thinking it's a romcom when it's actually a mystery/thriller.
It’s great make up. I’ve seen her in pics without the makeup and she doesn’t look as good. Nor is her skin…
I’d like to dedicate a phrase to you, as well ‘my bruh’

there's nothing to apologise for. in her point of view he had not mentioned that he has a child for MONTHS. it's…
Still, there are more mature ways of handling this than a childish tantrum. A mature conversation says a lot about a person as well as how one treats others. No one is saying that people can’t have preferences, but does that mean you should treat some badly because of your bias and preferences? Heck no!
Up to date with all the episodes this drama is just ok. They are cute together but the plot is very simple almost…
Good points all.
So about the kid, my feels is that she is completely childish and illogical and I don’t care for her best friend either. As a woman , I hate female characters who go ballistic at the thought of their love interest having a kid. Why does it automatically disqualify them? What if his wife was dead, is that something he can help? This is the third Asian drama I’ve watched with this trope. That’s why Love Scout is so refreshing cause the FL was totally ok with the guy being a single dad.
I really think a lot of people are confused why the FL was a bit mad at ML when she thought he had a kid. She…
Still, she could have asked him? Or at least brought it up in conversation giving him a chance to explain? How would she feel if the tables were turned and he jumped to an unsavory conclusion about her without giving her a chance to clarify?
Perhaps I'm taking it too seriously but when Bang Areum says she's create a perfect facade to make her feel better…
I think when he said YOU ARE SO PRETTY, he wasn't talking about her external beauty and she understood what he meant. He was telling her that despite her flaws, she's beautiful inside and so does not need to compare herself with anyone, she is beautiful just the way she is, and that she also doesn't need to build walls to hide her true self.
I know it is open to interpretation. When I watched it the first time, I came away feeling exactly as you did. But when I re-watched the drama a year later, I finally understood the deeper connotations in what he meant. He wasn't just looking at the surface.
All of you who say the pacing is slow, it's only because you're just hoping for romance. For those of you who…
You are right. I do enjoy it. Actually watching it more because of the mystery surrounding the FL than for any hope of a romance between them. Even if there is no romance, it would be worthwhile watching it to see if she is released from her curse and can live a meaningful and full life. Never say that the whole value of a character lies primarily in its ability to 'fall in love'.
We all know that the ML obsession wih proving the FL is not a witch is not with bad intention, but its still seems…
Actually it wasn't her apartment he was interested in seeing. It was the apartment of the guy who worked in the deli. He eventually did get his way and got access to that man's apartment. He needed the view so he could better track FL's movements without being conspicuous. And if you say it goes into stalker territory, I will totally agree.
The only problem I have with this show is how its directed, like they basically wasted early 4 out of 10 episodes…
I hated the way the C-drama first frost was filmed and edited. I much prefer the pacing and direction of this drama. It's not as heavy as FF but I do agree they can town down the amount of flashbacks in both drama. My guess is that they are trying to drag out the plot to match the episode count of 10 episodes for this drama as I read somewhere that the original synopsis of the drama, based on the webtoon, was pretty thin.
I think the drama delved on the side story of the ML helping the angry ex CEO in episode 4 as a way to explain why the ML would be so intrigued by a stranger that he would risk several years of his life to save her, and why he is obsessed with the idea of 'freeing her'. My guess is that it is simply passed a crush at this point, it can be rightly termed an obsession because he has spent several years of his high school, college and working life on this problem and is yet to find a solution.
Personally, I would like Park Mi Jeong to know the extent to which the ML has tried to help her. Because of his shyness, he got his mother to make the shade for her to protect her while she ate her lunch thus avoiding death. And now he's helped her with the streetlight without letting her know. So he's figured that he can help her as long as he doesn't approach her directly to talk to her and he will be fine.
I had wondered if the supernatural curse was triggered if she was approached by women, but it seems to be gender specific and only gets triggered by males, in so much that whatever spirit that is plaguing her was also triggered by her relationship with her dad, and thus caused his demise. So if it is a vengeful spirit, we can conclude it's a jealous one and is triggered by males. The best bet for the male lead is to go and find a shaman to find out what is disturbing her in the supernatural. I'm surprised that no one has tried this option yet. And the best solution for her is to enter a nunnery. She can get all the female companionship she needs and will not have to live in isolation. This begs the question - was ML's mother's illness and subsequent death triggered by the FL's curse, or was it something that would have happened regardless? This is why the drama is so much more interesting as a mystery than a mere romcom.

I’ve seen her in pics without the makeup and she doesn’t look as good. Nor is her skin as smooth. She looks quite average without makeup.
Her behavior was a deal breaker for me. I love the drama but I get turned off by people like that.
