You're right that they can do whatever they want in a show. And since Zee is such a brat, he probably wouldn't take no for an answer and barge into his father's house anyways. Lololol.. It is going to be so weird/interesting when that plot starts.

Yeah. You have a point, but divorced parent stuff can get messy. Your relationship can fluctuate with both parents very easily. Since it seems both Twins live the same general area, it is super uncommon to be completely estranged from your parents, and your parents will always love you! So living together especially in Asian culture, I think is not a big stretch. Trust me, my family is very messy. Very rarely is it black and white. The show doesn't give much background info, so I'm led to believe it's not as black and white as you may believe.

I could give you examples from my own family about "estrangement," but my real face and name are attached to this. Hahahah. My baby face but still my face.

If you give First a secret girlfriend, this will just be Waterboyy. Lmao. The only difference I see with this and Waterboyy at this point is the twin switch thing. Also, Zee becoming Sprite when he wakes up is so ridiculous. Even though I would not recommend this show to others, I will be unabashedly watching this. I like something about this even though it is objectively bad. I think the rating is going to go down a lot more.

Zee is a spoiled brat. But my parents are divorced and whenever I am upset with one parent, I just say, "I'm going to dad's/mom's house." I am 21 years old. My parents love me and both love to have me at home, so I can show up whenever I want without notice. Zee is probably in a similar situation.

I don't know if I knew it the first episode, but I definitely knew it before this episode. In the flashback scene when Zee was joining the team, I feel like First called the Coach father. You know "Paw" in Thai. And I swear there were some other hints as well. Maybe that's why this episode feels so boring to me. Nothing new happened.

I agree with you. I mean, I really enjoyed the show, but what you described is totally not what I watched. It detracts from the original intention, 100%. However someone like me who didn't know the original story, this was really enjoyable as a stand-alone. The backstory of the angel is definitely my favorite part of the series.

As the "middle-school" actor looks at least 17, this did not translate well at all. A 30 y-o cannot have a 17 y-o child unless they had a baby VERY young. So it seems the live adaptation wanted to blur the line between the original intention and a BL because to me this was a BL, and it's hard to see it otherwise.

The first episode is a lot better than I thought. It's like I'm getting a true Baker Boys BL without the kidnapping plot. Lol. Atom is a favorite for me, and I agree that Peach has an infectious personality.

I'm really liking that they are making shorter BLs because I've watched too many that drag on. It shows that people are actually starting to think, "Do I have enough material to make 12 episodes?" So much better than automatically making 12 episodes because that's the standard!!!

This reminds me of the Kevin Hart movie Upside where he takes care of a quadriplegic guy. I love that movie, so this to me is just a re-hash of that movie. But the guy is blind and it's romantic.

Is this plot done before because these are the only two times I've seen it? The plot being: rugged/poor person with a life going downhill is hired to take care of a rich person with a disability. They don't look down on them and treat them as an equal.. then they become best friends/lovers? Because, it seems like a fairly complicated plot, but I wouldn't be surprised if this has been done many times.

Zee seems insufferable. I guess he's supposed to be the evil twin or something. He's definitely anti-social, and I worry for Sprite when he fully recovers because he's acting like he's gonna beat him up. Sprite's lukcy he can't move. Dang
