I share sentiments with everyone else. It's good but getting boring. I think this BL is trying to break away from the predominantly solely rom-com series to distinguish itself, but it is not doing well. It recycles the same plot points.
But I will say that they balance the rom-com and serious plots very well. It is not getting backlash like Baker Boys for example. Prakan and Tuaphee's relationship has its grim moments just like the hospital has its happy moments. It is well-rounded in this way at least.
Unlike others though, I don't see anything wrong with the acting. It's not the best, but not enough to complain over. I blame the variety-free script that makes them recycle the same emotions.. not the actors themselves. It can't feel fresh if it ain't fresh.

I find it so funny that in real life, he is not old enough to be Diao because how could he graduate college and have multiple jobs in the industry by 20?! He is talented and great at understanding his character!
I loved every second. I am so sad that this show wasn't longer, but I am happy that it exists. There are very few shows I am obsessed with for their whole running and am able to watch the episodes more than once all the way to the end. This was a special show, and even if it never gets another season, I hope there will be something else like it! And I welcome Earth and Win to the BL world. Please stay!
I need more guys like him in BL. Seeing a man like him makes me never want to watch high school shows again. I really need to see some real men. Not fooling me when he's in that high school uniform.
His picture to me is super cute. The image of him in glasses, as he enters his 30s, this will fit him so well -- even better than now. Reminds me of Im Joo Hwan.
Excited for this but also not expecting too much. I haven't seen a plot quite like this come out in Taiwan.
The closest Taiwanese thing to this is HIStory 4: Close To You... Actually there are MANY similarities. Main couple is long term friends that even work at the same company... Then second couple in HIStory 4 is step-brothers. Here we don't have step-brothers, but we do have a single dad which brings the family element without the inter-family relations. *cough*
Now, I will say. Just watching the first 4 episodes, It's pretty obvious Li Gong has always liked Ze Shou. Ze Shou on the other hand, I am not sure whether he liked Li Gong.. Kind of seems like he might have but was just not fully aware of it or he knows but is good at hiding it. Not sure.
I like this A LOT more than HIStory 4 because HIStory 4 seems like two guys who have been single for a while, no success so they kind of settle with each other. Their relationship seems forced just because other people ship them together. And there like... "Well, not like I got anybody else!"
At least Plus & Minus feels more genuine on this account. It's just hard to make the audience believe these two have been friends for 20 years... They went through college and law school and everything together.. And just now they discover/reveal their feelings... Very hard to believe it wouldn't have came out sooner....
Even more, the plot about people you prosecute against attacking you. This is not unheard of and does happen, but making this a central plot to the story... I find weird. How many times did Li Gong tell Ze Shou to "be safe." I get it. He cares about him, but I find this to be over-dramatized. He talks as if he has insider information. Has this happened to Ze Shou before? Did Li Gong act the same before.. If not, why is he so adamant now? The plot is a little weird.
The single dad, bartender couple.. I will not comment much. That couple doesn't have too much material or at least now I don't feel the kilig.
I just think it's a shame HIStory 4 tried a "newer" plot but then still managed to make it feel tired, cliche, and actually dragged more than some basic Thai school-boy plots.
I don't hope that for this show because these are such missed opportunities. You can do better than this Taiwan.

You're right that I haven't been through what he's been through and I cannot understand it from a deep level. What I can understand though is the emotion of hurt both people felt because of that man... Would he be acting that way if gay marriage was legal and their was no stigmatization around queer people? Maybe he still would hurt people. Maybe he wouldn't. It's unknowable.
But he hurt people, and if I wanna say bad things about someone who hurt people, I don't think I did anything wrong. You can just see my opinion how you saw it.. as a privileged opinion. All opinions have bias including my own, but I will not stop sharing my opinions on fictional characters because I have not experienced everything they experienced. It's a fictional character and this is the internet. Just see my opinion and ignore it or tell me why I am wrong.. say even what you said just now. That is okay, but at the end of the day that's all the comment section is.. an exchanging of opinions.
If you ask me, you don't have to be qualified to have an opinion. Opinions are not facts. Purely subjective.. all my own speculation. If you think what I am saying is BS just believe that and move on.
Wow ep 14 is on fire, how can they end it in one or 2 episodes?
I really don't think episode 15 is the last episode. I have no idea where the number 15 even comes from... I think someone just guessed. Hopefully it's at least 2 or 3 more episodes. Wouldn't hate it if it was longer.
I originally really liked this show, but I never knew it'd get so amazingly romantic out of nowhere. It really has me asking what did I do to deserve this show?
In ep 13, the way Rak was flirting with Diao just so he wouldn't fade into the background really struck a cord with me. While hopelessly desperate, it was so genunie. He revealed himself completely with his heart on a stick. I have never been so happy and sad at the same time. My heart was crying while it smiled.
I salute the whole show. Amazingly done. It's always kept it light, and every episode feels like we're starting from the "beginning" again in the sense that the characters always have similar interactions with each other and maintain their relationships. Doing this allows for the same jokes and gags while also progressing certain plots of the show.... It's a sitcom! That's exactly what a sitcom is. Very well done. I am so happy with this show.
And how cute is Diao!!! When someone is even more endearing with tears coming down their face, you have achieved the peak of cuteness!!!
This actually looks really good. I have seen one or two cat-themed BLs, but I never seen one that looks this extensive and plot-driven. The fact it was a manga first makes me hope they follow the book plot well, and it will without a doubt not be boring! I feel like what they did to Love Stage!! is interesting.. They didn't deter from the original plot, but they added lots of filler scenes. High hopes for this.
Apparently One31 streams new episodes on Sundays at 11AM EST, and if you start watching in the middle, they delete the stream once the show goes off air and the episode isn't uploaded on YouTube right afterwards.... I had to learn the hard way. Lololol.
Will be waiting all day for it to be uploaded. Let's hope it'll be up in 5 minutes.... hahahah.
