Funny you say that because this has the same director as Golden Blood.
I was wondering if you said that on purpose, but it's so funny that it happened to be a coincidence. I think that Golden Blood is a really good series at its core. It just had some mishap in direction of plot and timing/dragging on like you said. I think the director is good, and if anything I look more forward to it because he directed it.
According to the World Y Entertainment Instagram account, they made a post on October 1, 2020 introducing Kris…
There are many, many BLs where actors are 15 and 16 at time of filming, especially the older BLs. I say if it bothers you, don't watch or skip his parts. He is clearly a baby in the show. I think as long as there is no over-sexualization of minors then its fine. A kiss with someone similar to their age, I say fine. Anything more than a kiss is risky and weird. Some people would even be opposed to a kiss.
This pairing is so perfect. I personally think enemies to lovers is a classic but not always done well plot, especially in BL. I much prefer this prolonged tension and conflict between two characters. Rak and Diao are SOTUS level. This is Kongpop and Arthit level except Rak clearly likes Diao from the beginning unlike Arthit.
The only thing I wonder is when the romance part will come. All the show is romance in a way but not explicitly. I love watching Rak and Diao fight and bicker, don't get me wrong, but I hope we get some scenes where their feelings are obviously pushed over to be more of lovers. I am counting that it happens next episode because the only romance we get can't be those little clips of Pleng's novel at the end.
I am waiting, anticipating, loving it. This series rocks.
My heart breaks for Vee! I am so glad this series doesn't show him having no regard for his sister. This plot is realistic, and I feel his pain. Taking his sister's man feels morally wrong, but that man is insisting on breaking up with his sister for him. I really appreciate these heartbreaking plots that show that love can happen at the wrong time. It is beautiful to me, really. As long as there's no cheating... I like it.
I love horror almost as much as I love BL, I finished the 1st 3 episodes, but this is just ok for me. After seeing…
I agree that Phat seemingly having 0 urgency to solve where Phob comes from is off-putting. I just labeled it bad or lazy writing. For the plot switching from comedy and horror back and forth.. Have you seen Baker Boys? Lol. Many people had similar opinions.
Then for the actor Nut... I had no idea that he was the guy from Oxygen when I first started watching this. Then I was like.. I know I know him from somewhere. When I figured out it was Oxygen, I was shook. I didn't like Oxygen, but for me the writing for that series is just atrocious, so I blame it on that. I agree with you on his acting. I see zero similarities between his character from Oxygen and here proving that he is a good actor. I really like his character here too, so for me if anything, this series has opened my eyes to how talented he is. Plus he seems more handsome in this series too. Maybe it's because the character's personality is more gentle.
I've been super enjoying this show every week. I didn't realize 7 episodes have already aired. Absolutely crazy. I hope OffGun couple have a new series come out every year or every couple years until forever. Hahahah. Pick and Rome will always be an OG BL couple for me. Off and Gun have both proven that they can act and pull off many roles. In each role "Off" and "Gun" disappear. They become their characters, but their chemistry as OffGun is always there, so I love that for them.
Although, in the latest episode 7 when White was screaming, "Tawi Get Out!" that was so cute, and I saw Gun in that 100%. I was not looking at White then. hahahh
The couples are all very unique. Childhood friends who have been out of contact for a couple years, a guy and his sister's boyfriend who always knew about each other but never got close or really met, and then practically two strangers.
The only thing bad about this show is I hate cheating plots. I was okay with Vee and Dome in the beginning, but as they get closer to each other, I don't feel good about it. Instead of feeling butterflies, I actually feel sick to my stomach. I hate how casual and mutual their budding relationship is. I just can't fathom being envious of my sibling because I wanted their boyfriend... I NEVER want to get to that point with a family member, and anyways, cheating is gross!!
In my opinion love is such a beautiful thing. I believe that love is love, so to me to throw away your love that you have a committed long-term relationship with.. it absolutely disgusts me. Forget about the new love. What about the one you already had? It goes against my morals so horribly. I think physical cheating is also horrible, but to have a full-blown relationship.. as the show gets closer to that, I get so upset and feel so sick.
I love the realistic depiction of the show. I think the little scenes where Vee looks to Dome and then looks away and the scenes where Aai is super nervous to be 1 mile near Saen is so relatable and realistic. I also really liked the scene where Aai is looking at that video the girl posted hanging out with Saen studying.. it shows he's envious of her while also feeling insecure about himself. It is so relatable. Even though he knows Saen likes him, Aai still wonders is he good enough. I am really looking to this couple to tell a beautiful story of two people accepting each other for who they are and loving each other.
So.... TL;DR the show is doing an incredible job story, directing, writing wise. But I HATE the cheating.
Second episode was a bit less energetic than the first one, but still pretty enjoyable.Surprising literally no…
Right. I never got through TGWM because of the cheating, but I have become more desensitized to cheating over the years. TGWM is so blatant though. At least this one they try to make the cheater look sad and sympathetic. I have no sympathy for cheaters, but I rather not hate one of the main characters. Lol.
This show is fire. The pace is perfect if you ask me. Things happen when I want them to happen, and the plot is nice and light. Overloaded with feels. I really like all 3 couples, and I feel that rarely happens in multiple couple shows. 3 high-quality couples. My favorites are probably by who appears most. First Thorn and Tubfah then Aai and San then Vee and Dome but really like all.
Why would he ask questions though?he’s kinda hiding in plain sight…it’s bad enough everything he does raises…
He has asked multiple questions in prior episodes. He asks Sean stuff like why do you hate Tawi so much and when Sean mentioned that case in the newest episode he asked his friend what is that case.. for all White knew Sean already explained why he hates Tawi and the group has discussed that case in a meeting. And those are just two of the multiple questions he has asked. We ask questions in our everyday lives. They are a key part of conversation.
I am liking this show so far, but I have never seen anything like it before. It is slow moving, and obv not as interesting to me as it is to y'all... Lol. I like slow moving plots, but every time I finish an episode, I am kind of left with nothing.. Nothing to think about and nothing to expect because I have no idea what is going on.
What's more interesting is White taking over Black's life. What's surprising is the writer didn't write something in like White asking a question, and one of his friends saying, "You asked that 2 weeks ago" or "I already told you this story so many times. You don't remember it?" If I was White, I would be afraid to open my mouth, but instead he has to play everything off by pushing the blame on the other person. He is lucky they haven't talked about the past a lot. Lol. He would just be clueless in every conversation.
I think this is a good series… just that it could’ve been improved…. Some plots aren’t clear… we don’t…
I agree. The 3 criticisms of this show is def last episodes rushed, reason of kidnapping is not believable, and we didn't get to see Boss' first love.
The whole series was kind of silly. The only serious part was the kidnapping/murder. So I did expect the resolution and murderers to be more serious. But it was just a crazy old lady and her brainwashed son trying to make "children happy." It really seemed like a plot out of a kids' cartoon.
I also wished Weir ended up with someone. Somebody said in a comment that in the book he ends up with Pooh. I don't know if that's true or not, but here Pooh ended up with his wife. There's nothing wrong with it, but personally the plot annoys me because the daughter wants a "complete" family. I think that it's nothing wrong if your parents are separated, and I feel like this show goes along with society's view that parents should always stick together. But then again, the show doesn't go much into their relationship so I can only complain so much.
I enjoyed this more than I enjoy Paint With Love. People are right that the murder/kidnapping plot is weird/messy/sloppy, but all in all I enjoyed the characters with their struggles, backstories, and friendship. For me the show was too short, and I didn't know it only had 12 episodes, so I was sad when I got to the end of episode 12 and realized that was the ending.
If Singto wasn't in it, would I have enjoyed it as much? Simple answer: no. Lol.

For me, Giwi is evil but she is so relatable and I like her so much. My favorite character.
