This show was stressing me out so much. But Jiang Tian just made me fall in love with him ep 6. All is forgiven ππ Jiang Tian will do anything for Sheng Wang. I love his closed-mouth smile and the twinkle in his eyes.
This series seriously emotionally hurts me so bad. It's so well written and these characters have more maturity than most adult-aged characters... but this is hurting me so much I swear π« π« I'm just like.. what's gonna happen next?!
I'm such a big fan. I have seen the majority of his drama appearances and am amazed by his range. I hope GMMTV sticks him in every project possible, he gets more work from other companies, and he gets a break-through main role. He is an ACTOR. Not just is he talented but so handsome and cute and can act romance as well. I am always looking out for Poon!
edit: not me making another "I love Poon" comment only months after the first one.. i'll be making an additional one in some more months. lmao
Unlike others, I actually gave this show a watch because of the side characters and side plots. I especially gave it a watch because of Poon, View, and Kapook possibly in a GL.
I am a big fan of Poon. I love his acting and he is super cute and adorable. I loved ViewJune in 23.5. They really surprised me with how much I can like a GL couple as a predominantly BL fan. Kapook I follow on Instagram.. I consider her my Instagram Queen and I drool over her photos all day.
Now, I am very impressed with OffGun here. The first time I saw OffGun was in their OG series Secret Puppy Love. And unpopular opinion, that has been my favorite thing I saw them in since. I hated Theory of Love. I hate Khai forever. Not Me was fine but the plot is Not For Me (lmao). Cooking Crush I didn't even give a try because.. see above. I had no hope. I place OffGun Fun Night above those shows. IFYKYK. OffGun has always had great chemistry.. That was never the problem, but here I actually like the plot too!!
When I saw the trailer for this show, I was so happy because the cast. Plus it looked like a lot more than a romance show. It has more of a comedy and day in the life vibe. Multiple side characters that you get to know.. Which I love this.. Maybe some people do not like this show that much... But I cannot see myself giving this less than an 8 or 9 out of 10 after these last two episodes... It is so good to me.
Poon is in it. Kapook has a GL story.. View is in it. OffGun has a good story (in my opinion) for once!! I just love this show.
This show is so good for me!! I am reeling at OffGun's scenes which is so amazing considering how "old" of a couple they are. They fact that they've still got it.
Also, I am sad to see my JudyBaMhee fantasy come to an end. Their chemistry together is so killer. I feel like most relationships that ended the way BaMhee's and Tae's did should not get back together. In order to make their relationship work, they both have to change a lot!! I actually do wish the best for them though. Maybe they can make it work.
I just feel really bad for P'Judy. They gave a whole monologue where she talks about how she's been single for so long.. and now it continues. She's so beautiful!! Why does she have to be single!!! It HURTS MY HEART!! Justice for Kapook. Give her another GL couple now PLEASE πππ
Sometimes, you meet someone, and you think the world of them, but when you eventually get into a relationship…
Okay.. I think you're assuming way too much about Judy. She's a character we know nothing of her personal life or inner monologues. Calling her toxic when she was trying to be nice to BaMhee is not right. BaMhee also didn't communicate to Judy that she felt she was being smothered. Maybe Judy didn't realize she was doing that because she was nervous and excited.
Like BaMhee said, no one is perfect... I feel like you are being unfair to P'Judy who has been nothing but nice and understanding.
This show is great. I don't mind a show full of cliches when it's done well. Seriously, these BLs to me are like a giant nostalgia machine. Long live Taiwan. Long live BL. Long live high school BLs forreal.
Bro. I want these AI robots to be real so bad. I just want them to walk among us and you can't even tell they're robots from only looking!! I really hope this doesn't disappoint because I loved Anti Reset so hard. Love this concept to death.
This show is becoming less light-hearted. It's trying to choke me!! This series is really deep.. and even if I really don't like Maya. I can admit that the she causes some hurdles in their relationship that I think all couples end up going through anyways.
The first obvious one is jealousy. But also just the fear if someone will stay by your side.. or if you're asking them to sacrifice too much. Wanting them to stay by your side but not wanting to push them too far. The fear of rejection. The fear that one day they'll leave you or find someone else.... This is all quite beautifully portrayed. I feel like the show is even teaching me something.
When Taishin says maybe he doesn't suit Takara, it really made me want to cry. I hope their relationship is successful soon!
But what I don't understand is Takara doesn't want to be like his mother. His mother always gets what she wants even if resulting to desperate measures. So it seems while pursuing Taishin that Takara feels like his mother. I get why he doesn't like this, but simultaneously it seems he's saying that he doesn't actually or fully like Taishin yet.. Like which exactly is it?
Takara obviously enjoys Taishin's presence. He finds him odd, goofy, silly, yet sincere. Takara can sense Taishin's sincerity towards him. No trace of ulterior motives or malice. Taishin just truly appreciates Takara... BUT Takara supposedly doesn't like Taishin in a romantic way? I don't know if anyone will see this because it's so long... But like can anyone spell this out for me?! I don't get it.
It's just 4 out of 12 episodes. There's more than enough time to move.
I want to it to move but if it moves at the pace it has so far.. moving might not be enough ππ I want the show to be good but waiting for it though.
Loving Isumi's adorable appearance yet aggressive attitude. Also, the police officer seems approachable yet confident.. almost gives off motherly vibes. I am impressed how Japan can seemingly tie so many plots together with cooking. Like, why do y'all like food and cooking THIS much?!
We don't know his backstory though to give him some benefit of the doubt.
