I noticed it the first time I saw it, and I like it. I always remember that it's technically incorrect grammar, so I have memorized the name "A Tale of Thousand Stars." I quite like this "incorrect" title. But titles can't really be correct or incorrect. ;)

Thanks for the reply, and if you update the list that'd be awesome. I am a huge BL fan too and like so much stuff. I like all the stuff you mentioned, but for me Japan has a special place in my heart for BL. And also agree with how you judge! I enjoy simple BLs and complex ones too.

I watched it infatuated with hope and excitement for another season, but as it went on my hope died and I ended up realizing it's not that good. Every episode seemed to get worse. Couldn't agree more.

Really is not that good. I didn't finish the last episode. I was a super supporter, but the drama is cliche and disappointing. Now I am like the haters at the beginning.. Season 1 is better than Season 2.

Yeah.. I am not even an LBC fan though. I just want LS3. )): I was shocked at the continuation of LBC because even the director said no more, but I guess the fans wanted it THAT MUCH that he gave in.

Yeah. That is one thing as a BL fan I can't stand. I much rather there be two gay characters. The two straight characters is super unrealistic and overdone.

I have no resistance in the changing cliches. It's just shows where it is no longer true BL or there is a bigger message like this one. At first I was super resistant to this kind of stuff.

There are now a bunch of gay men watching these shows. There are even a handful of lesbians who watch them so who said transgenders and all other people of LGBTQ+ are not watching! The genre has to evolve because now the audience consists of more than like you said fujoshis. They have to respect all people and including their real perspectives is a form of respect and gets higher viewership/ loyalty.

It's a great change. But it's a little sad. It's for me like when BTS got popular in the U.S. all the sudden. As a Kpop fan that was so weird. And I rather not listen to BTS. I like a good amount of their songs. They always come on. I end up hearing them anyways. It's something better, but it reminds you of what you lost.

However in BL's situation there are tons of messed up stereotypes. The effeminate characters thing is also a huge issue. So the change is not sad in that respect, but it feels the same as BTS in the U.S. for fans like me.

And on the selfish side also. It's not about me anymore. That is not even my main reason for resistance, but it's ignorant on my part to not acknowledge that fact... Not about me. It's about the underprivileged and marginalized. Hard to accept.

The "BL" genre is changing so much and branching off into something I can't recognize. Fangirls like me who are not part of the LGBTQ+ community can feel hesitant to these changes but really we should open our eyes and see the beauty in different types of dramas not just classic BL.

So strange.. my mind says no. My body says no.. But then I think a little bit more and realize how much of a positive thing this is. I am such a big ally and love any of these types of messages, but my little world that I'm used to is changing so fast. I can't live in a bubble anymore. My God.

So. No BL. I have a friend watching this. And he only has one episode left so he's about to spoil it for me anyways. If the girls turn back into girls than this is just essentially those Kdramas where the girl dresses as a guy. It's exactly the same.

Are there secondary couples and if yes are the secondary couples BL?

That's pretty funny. I guess us who didn't care for PeteKao's rough relationship in Kiss Me Again prefer this much softer one. I have a BL buddy too! And he likes the series just like me. Hahah. We are opposites.

Yeah. I get it. Funny thing for me though is I am not a TayNew fan. I wasn't excited for DBK at all. After I saw the trailer of DBK, I was so impressed and so far the show is as impressive as the trailer. ((:

I don't wanna blow up and be mean. But all these negative comments are starting to make me mad because I love this series so much.
I don't know what number it gets though. I love most every series so much right now. Make Our Days Count and TharnType are slaying me right now too.

Everything you're saying is right. But I feel like we can imagine. Seeing them be cute without intimacy is enough for me. I also disagree with the "baiting" part because I love this series. It's only baiting if they give us no TayNew/ PeteKao. And I am loving every second.

I very much understand your point. In relationships sex and intimacy is not just normal but almost required to make a fulfilling relationship. Celibacy exists and to those people to each their own, but most people are not like that.

Despite me agreeing with your comment though, I actually LOVE this series and wouldn't change it for the world. I think I'd be okay if Pete and Kao didn't even kiss once because they are already an established relationship. We know they do it anyways. I just love watching two boys fall in love with each other and for PeteKao watch them stay in love.

And I'm sure you get it now that I am a straight girl imposing on this conversation. Hope it is okay.
