i honestly don’t care whether the show has kissing scenes or not; they’re not necessary for me to enjoy a…
:// I feel like some fangirls are crazy, yes. But in straight dramas they want more kiss scenes and at least one sex scene! Plenty of people want sexier straight dramas. I admit BL fans are a little more pushy, but it's not a bad thing. Some series are cuter. Some series are sexier. That is natural. But NO kiss scene over a multiple episode dramas always feels just a little unsatisfying. That is the truth. I have 0 problem with fluffy dramas but it's nothing wrong with wanting sexy ones too.
I have watched this before and didn't know it. LOL. So I watched this 2 times. It is a good movie. My only complaint is the subtitles are a little off. I agree that the plot is not the best and some parts have sub-par acting (not by the main characters but the smaller roles) or the cinematography is sub-par. BUT GUESS WHAT?! IT'S SOME BL. Always a good rating for BL.
I HAVE TO watch this after seeing most of TGIF. With the same actors?! Two thumbs up. The more studios producing BL and the more active actors the better.
I love this so much. Home is so handsome in a unique way with his wide nose bridge and sun-kissed skin. He is really so nice to look at, and I love how he looks at Jump.
This movie was not at all what I expected and wasn't that bad. It's SUPER, SUPER slow. I see it is full of symbolism, so looking out for that makes the movie more meaningful. But I found the ending beautiful in its own way. The big scene (you'll know if you watched), if it ended at that, I wouldn't call the movie ambiguous. I think the very last scene made it ambiguous. Really I can't judge this movie because it's so unique in its own art form.. I find the main character beautiful and eye-opening. Even when people don't seem to show emotion and act apathetic, they are still worthy and love and they want love after all.
All of these comments and reviews describe exactly what I DON'T want in a movie which is why I haven't watched it yet.. :/// But I'll give it a try.
It reminds me of 2 other movies I think. ____________________ **Slight Spoilers**
One is a Thai movie which I'm sure I never finished. It was about a man who met this other guy after being thrown out his apartment and ditching his sorry bf. However when the man figures out he is in fact a prostitute, their relationship falls apart.
The other is a Japanese movie. Which I know I can find the title (edit: it's called 'Forever Summer'). A photographer meets a boy as a client. He takes pictures of him, but the photographer finds the boy extremely erotic and alluring. So they do the nasty. The boy getting his picture taken.. he's a prostitute. He feels dirty and unworthy of love or attention. So he suffers with this photographer caring so much about him.. and the rest.. just I don't care enough to explain it all because I really DON'T like stories of prostitutes because of the message that comes with them.
The guys who like the prostitutes.. their love doesn't feel real. It feels fetishized and inauthentic. Because of this, the experience is uncomfortable and they generally don't have good endings or what happens throughout the story is just horrible. The stories are less about humanizing sex workers or showing their reality and instead give a hyper-sexualized performance of gay men. I don't like it. But I'll give this a try.. LOL.
Each to their own, but I'd hate to see a poly relationship as a main relationship in a show I watch. I think I'll…
@J100 Sorry I have a Western mind. I forget about that sometimes. But many of those poly relationships are formed when teenage girls get married off against their will or parents choose women's partners for them. I believe most women would pick a monogamous relationship if they truly had the choice (not b/c of societal norms or a bad financial situation). Therefore a 100% mutual relationship is progressive. And I'm sorry that I have this opinion, but that is my opinion. I will not boycott anything or complain anymore, but that is what I think. So sorry.

Yeah. I don't even seem to have time for these show though nowadays. If I watch or not.. we'll have to see. But I'll remember what you said. I also HATE love triangles. Glad I'm not the only one.
I hope this is a real poly relationship...I hate love triangles
Each to their own, but I'd hate to see a poly relationship as a main relationship in a show I watch. I think I'll try this, but I don't think the world is progressive enough yet for poly relationships on written TV. I'm not talking about that weird "1 man 5 wives" stuff on TLC (American TV channel). LOL
I think I'm gonna rewatch this soon. It's not on my watch list though. Guess I just never added it? I remember it being twisted with a twisted ending but I also remember MANY cute parts. And how they met at the pool. That was cute. LOL.
