The best thing of this show, after the leads that is, is definitely the fast pace. What I watched in 5 epis could easily have been dragged to 10-20epis in other dramas 😂😂

You should read reviews or those voting the unaired episodes, some even rating it 1.
If you wish to unsee certain things, that's your choice. Like you said to each their opinion

Watch till 5th epi, even if on ffwd. Make your own choice then.
Many dramas are down rated by haters from 1st day itself. Every show suffers this, till haters forget the show after some days, then only you will see neutral viewers rating the show.

5 episodes done. The AI intro can be skipped easily, besides nobody waste 1+min on intros lately. So the excess hatred for that intro is beyond my understanding. There are some scenes which are questionable, yes but it's same for many top cdramas too.
Like poj, this is getting overrated hatred. Actually even more hatred because haters have been waiting to attack zlh since poj success hurt their egos.
Anyway each show has its own fate. Let's see if neutral viewers will like it or not. Disappointed that this show comes just after a masterpiece like poj for zlh, definitely. But we can't do anything. Production house could have done better instead of wanting to ride of poj's suceess to hide their flaws.

Started Overdo. Though compared to POJ, it's seriously lacking, but then for me after POJ no cdrama was even appealing to maintain my attention in past few months. For now overdo is definitely watchable. I pity zlh at times, he has more haters than other actors out there.

He's soon gonna be back. There's a new upcoming scene circulating on Twitter between him n SYQ. Won't say more because it's a big spoiler.

Otherwise I have to agree. There should have been a better balance. Like we get 3 episodes only of darkness, then 3 episodes only nice simple scenes. Better give everyone 1-2 mins.
However complaining won't make a difference, show will go on initially filmed and edited 😅

Lol, it's obvious it's gonna be non-English. Netflix always breaks all its shows or movies into such categories. Only for a specific country, all are put together.

Read it somewhere that it won't. 1 epi per day will automatically have an effect on the % viewership. Perhaps when express package is released, then it may have a chance

One epic fight could have been when he rescued changning, but alas they didn't make it as explosive as it could have been. Novel was more explosive, showing the ruthless Xie zheng. I was disappointed a bit yesterday after that blink and miss rescue arc 😅

5 secs n she was rescued, no buildup, no goose bumps, nothing. Blink n miss, she was saved and Yuanqing was defeated. This battle could hv been more explosive considering we did get fillers here n there in these two episodes.

Well for an extreme, it's definitely one here 😅

It's too crude, glorification of abuse under the pretense that scene is fire is wrong. No offense to actors, both are slaying, but I cannot watch these so called hot scenes since it's abuse no matter how beautiful the wrapping may be 😅

The rescue of changning could have been more explosive. They should have given more fight scenes, than some fillers in both episodes
Yuanqing is being defeated in just mere seconds by both changyu and zheng 😅😂. What even😂. Qi ming n qianqian, sorry I'm unable to watch their scenes. I can watch both individual scenes, but them together with direction emphasizing deliberately to sell the hot part is totally lost on me 😑. Writing could and should have been better for both qi min and qian qian, than lazily giving just hot scenes while everyone knows he is an abuser and she's a victim!

It's done now, we cannot do anything but fingers crossed we don't get such scenes again, at least not so much explicit ones, in future. Same darkness of qi min can be shown in many other ways 🙃

Epi 20 and 21 were too dark for me. Hope we don't get to see such scenes again, poor baoer and his mother. These two episodes were mostly showing how cruel qi min can be. Thankfully by next episode, changning will be saved. Poor baoer will then lose the only shining light for now 😭
