All your frustration is understandable but I think the writer.is aware of that and that FL is arrogant towards the fictional chracters. Its also a critique how people cling to false narratives to justify their own bad behaviour. Thats why the story itsself through the male lead is calling her out. I am curious how it develops further.

NH let go of his power for her and protected her dad...how can she remain so cold. In the OG script he never did anything like that.

I am so glad LSL told FL she was ruthless and cruel herself by disregarding others to save her own skin...how is she any different from her view of NH who is also ruthless to survive. I kind of fear she sealed her own future fate by disregarding him so. Once he gives up on her she is in serious danger and it would be her own fault...she basically turned him against her all by herself and destroyed any chance for trust. Self fullfilling prophecy.

I think you might be right. He was very selfaware and seemed to now things. He also has no illusions about his sons abilities and character. NH is so obedient it hurts. Like a dog that is mistreated by his master but cant understand why.

No way I think they will repeat the plot more than once to get out. At this point she seems in love with NH and willing to die for him...she is not there yet. I think it will happen a lot later.

She is an unreliable source to begin with. She didnt pay attention well in the meeting and only skimmed through the skript. She is definitely missing pieces of information. But she knows her characters ending which informs pretty much everyone of her actions and biases. And though she could sympathise more with ML I think she stubbornly refuses to because she is scared she will fall for him like the FL that she is. There was such a scene in todays episode.Also its not like ML has ever stopped being manipulative. If she is alert to one trope its the red flag male lead. So far there is enough progression from her side that I don't mind.

I think most of the points you critize in the story make sense as of now. Because the script manipulates everyone. Once they deviate from the predestined path the script so far finds a way to get back on track. Hence the nonsensical falling for the masked vigilante for example. I dont think FL is wishy washy with 2ML. She shows little interest and turned him down more than once...he just doesnt take no for an answer ( another common trope). But I agree that I hope the characters will move on to defeat such nonsensical plot points in the future and drive their own narrative. I think this is what the story is ultimately about. Taking control of your own life and not accept a narrative that somebody forces on you..something that applies in real life too.

I didnt think of that but your right maybe the ML is eating shit all the time to finally make him snap. I was already at the point where I tought just kill that piece of s... emporer and be done with it. The script seems to be the evil in this world if you ask me. Or the concept of fate as it is is evil becuase there is no agency every decision becomes pointless.

I really like the drama and I think it gets better and better. I enjoy satire. But what exactly dont you like? Depending on that this might be not the right genre for you?

I didnt like Ep 1 thay much either. Id say watch at least 4 ep by ep 3 it starts getting good. If by ep 4 or 5 it still doesnt peak your interest. Leave it. I find it very funny and entertaining. The costumes are nice the acting is good and the story is unpredictable. But it is a statire of many overdone drama tropes. If you don't like this type of drama like love game in eastern fantasy or love between tiger and rose than this one won't be your cup of tea.

I am certain she can be killed. Its just that this early in the story she cannot be killed because the plot needs to go on. At the time where her death is officially in the plot it will happen. Also whats the point in beliving him if she knows the script will override his decisions. This has already happend more than once and for her as well. I feel the only way out of this trap is if she explains to him why things happen what a ML and a script is. He needs this information to fight his fate with her I think.

I was jist thinking when LYT played Siming she said "Everything is fate but love. Love is not fate" I hope this will be true in this Drama as well and will be the reason they can change their fate. I would really celebrate the parallels of LYTs characters and their connection to fate.

Since the wedding is soon it will be interesting if he NH will stab her and if she will stab 2ML. If he doesnt I think maybe she will come around. But her being forced to go against her father and marry NH not only shows that je is a puppet but her the transmigrated person is a puppet too...if that is the case I would also think thay if even I the transmigraded petson cannot choose or change my fate...why should a written character jave more agency. I think it will be a greay shock to NH when he finds out he ist jist a drama character and not real.
