Why would she still try to hurt NH like that? Wanting to escape him I understand but hurting him like that...doesnt say many good things about her either. They way she spoke about his suffering and going to war was also very nonchalant and unfeeling....saying he chose to do it for fame when she knows how much he suffers from his dad. She jas seen it first hand
Also nobody goes to war for fun...only people who have had it far too easy in life can talk like that and be this insensitive. She seems pretty spoiled and heartless sometimes. She should learn to be compassionate towards others not only for herself

When the empirer was beeing a dick to our leads I swear I was so close to breaking the screen barrier walk inside and kick him in the crotch......I was so suprised the FL was soo meek and didn't really stand up for herself. Sure he is the emporer but she is the FL with plotarmor plus she is ussually not very careful with what she says. It was hard to take that nobody talks back to him. But then again...arent emperor types not always like that?..incredible frustrating and never getting their comeupance. I pray someone puts his head in a toilet by the end of the drama. FL was also pretty nonchalant about it when they were locked in the room. I would have had so many different questions for the ML than her. Also what does it take for her to give him a hug poor guy.

Thank you...I was getting tired of the complains that fall short of understanding the rules of that world. Also FL is definitely changing her thoughts on ML after what he said about nobody trusting him back. He hit a nerve . She is also not afraid of him anymore otherwise she would not banter so freely with him. But she knows the key events : rebellion, marriage , betrayal that she knows the script will make happen just as the fire happened. So even if she believes NH to change she also believes he cant fight his fate and will be forced by the script to carry out the key events...no wonder she keeps a distance. LSL is someone she has no knowledge of. In her mind he is her wild card to change things. Could she make a connection between LSL and NH...sure but I think she is blinded and controlled by the script as you said since events will happen according to script and they have so far, but she also needs something to pin her hopes of escaping on which makes desperate people blind to reality very often. I think this is the case here. She is depserate to escape the FLs fate and clutches at straws..all the while she is not escaping anything which makes her fears and attitude kind of right if you ask me. So far very little has deviated from the events of the plot.

From what we've seen he already hated ML before the death of the empress. He praised 2 ML for the 4 rabbits calling him a great hunter but scolded ML kalling him bloodthirsty for hunting the same number of 4 rabbits.
The show pointed out today that 18th prince and 2nd ML get away with everything way to easy...but isn't it often the case in dramas that some characters will never get punished even if they deserve it for some stupid reason. I think the show is making fun of that.

I dont k ow if the applying ointment on her face was supposed to be romantic but Iit was sooo overdone with the music and the dolfins...the overlong glances ...I lay on the floor laughing...it was too funny to me....pfff

Marcus here said that a dream within a dream was ranked 10 in weekly most watched dramas...princess gambit was 7 and feud was no1. So it is not as successfull as its competitors?also the douban rating for feud was higher than PoB...I could not believe it. Feud was such a makjang drama. I guess it is really popular in china despite being not very good?

LYN and LXY both are my favourites. I wouldnt even say LXY is much better I have watched a lot of him and even he has his patterns in how he plays as every actor has. Both are very good but have slightly different archetypes they play well. He excells at being menacing and dangerous and sceming and tragic roles . LYN is good at the dangerous general type with a soft side. It remains to be seen if they have range outside of that, which they probably have. But LYN definitely has more luck chosing his projects.

Yeah to me it looks like everything is to big for her slender face. Her mouth is too big and her eyes too..she looks wide eyed all the time...and I think I agree with the "pretty shots" of her that are distracting

I was wondering why LSL has this red mark by his eye. Must be a pain to draw on all the time. I think it's to cover his mole under the eye which would be a dead giveaway of his identity as the seventh prince since not many people have one like that. Any other thoughts?

I cant get past ep 5...I watched this because I love LXY but this is so boring to me. All the contrived stupid plotting....is so unconvincing and boring to me. Also the FL lools so fake...I have trouble warming to her. I have nothing against her but I get an uncanny valley feeling when I look at her which distracts me from her acting which so far I also find pretty bland. Does it get better storywise? Please don't kill me for saying I find FLs looks distracting.

I cancelled mine too...streaming services suck now..no matter where you go. LYN other drama journey to love also was't available when it shoupd hae been. This always happens in the EU. I'm back to other alternatives on the internet, if they don't want my money so be it.

Planing the assasination was so funny. 2ML and FL both have severe delusions about themselves and ML...FL does not seem averse to flirting with ML....he plan of action always includes getting all close to him....maybe she is subconciously falling already to his ML Halo😅

Fl is so happy that she thinks she has a chance to fight her fate with the ML. but she still falls for him only now he has a mask on....she is going to be so disillusioned once she finds out, she fell according to the FLs destiny after all. Also why is it so hard to explain what a protagonist and ML is properly without misunderstandings? Don't they know the concept of fiction and books?
