Paused at ep 3 on that flashback... Please someone tell me wether that rape set up by her own sister and husband…
Sadly it happened but in her 1st life....not sure ifhe actually did but definitely she was violated (don't know if that helps at all) and yes her sister set her up. Which is why I can't fi d it in my heart to pity her sister's state. Even in her sec. life, the sister wanted to set her up again. So whatever the sis is going through...Sorry, never sorry π
Somebody call the doctor because my Blood pressure is too high π‘ Like it's been a while I've been this mad about a story before and so far this one is doing it's best. Like WTF is wrong with people π€―π€¬ First off though, I honestly think there ain't people like the FL character in real life because 1) You don't get a second chance so live wisely and 2) there is no ML knight in shining armour who will appear anytime you're in trouble so take extreme care of yourself. Now back to the story...Jiang Si gives me mixed feelings...sometimes I'm tempted to applaud her and other times I'm either baffled by her stupid decisions or in disbelief that she is living her sec. Life this way. No offence, she is trying but I though she would do better. And again...I'm reminded of the forever great "Blossom"....Aaah, I only have a Blossom syndrome π P.S. I'm curious, if you guys had experienced what JS did in her 1st life and you're given a 2nd life, how would you go about doing things? As for me, I will be out for blood...yes, I'm violent....hehe
the FL is such a fluffball, she's so funny and kind, idk what you people are on honestly... i almost always see…
Not gonna lie, in first 2 eps. I found her character a tad bit annoying (and no I don't hate her at all) but now, I am loving HER plus the relationship dynamic between the leads cracks me up. Saying this to say, some people may not hate her character per se but just gets annoyed...which is okay too. And those that HATE...well, they need to get a life.
I love this so far! And while i think the dynamic fl and ml have rn is funny as hell, i really hope she finds…
Just curious, Have you ever watched, "High school king of savvy"? It has what some would say a morally grey dynamic but I find it funny. It's a little like this but i it It's about an adult employee and a high school student who pretends to be his adult employee brother. It has some hilarious situations π€£
One minute I'm salivating over SKJ and the next I'm rolling on the floor with laughter π This drama is extra crazy and funny and We absolutely love it π
I was bored watching this 1st ep so not sure whether to continue or not... These days I'm like, if you can't hook me in with plot then at least make me laugh. And so far, I feel neither π At least Undercover High School doesn't make sense most of the time but I'm always LOL whilst watching...it has literally become my dopamine
Light on me BL was the only torture I had to endure and since I shall avoid wishy washy leads at all cost. Don't know why but I find leads (either BL or hetero-) who are indecisive very annoying so I will step away from this one... Enjoy!
Have you never had to interview people before? You'd be stunned at what gets put on resumes and applications or…
Actually I agree with your comment but I think it's a bit out of context from what I am trying to say. Oh and this is not the actor or character's fault but the writer's skewed mindset. The writer is trying to present ChengCheng as a simple pure gal and yet that's not really it. It's not that she doesn't care about her appearance or aware of the biases because she wouldn't have allowed her bestie to filter her photo on her application. So knowing that I would really have expected her to attempt to dress up, put some make up at least as a novice and we get to see her simplicity. Cause truth be told, we all try to aim for a good first impression. Another scene that bothered me was the reunion where CC finally dress neatly but alas the writer still wants to separate her from the mass and have her be the one to embarrass herself and ML character adding salt to injury. Like there are soo many ways to portray her character than this...Cooome on P.S. In my counselling sessions, I have actually noticed a lot of my clients who appear so put together carries a lot of baggage including low self-esteem and insecurities etc. Very interesting.
1st ep. in and can't help to think that there is still a lot of confusion on the difference between beauty standards and image presentation π€ Yeah, yeah yeah, we know all about the biases that comes with beauty and the pretty privilege etc. But I've noticed a different movement of people striving to improve their image by using makeup, the way they dress, staying fit etc and not so much on how big your nose or ears are. So my question is why couldn't ChengCheng (FL) wore better clothes, put concealer to cover those pimples to go tobher interview instead of looking like she's going to the supermarket π€ π And are you telling me the other 2 interviewees had better beauty features or it's just that they looked better cause they dressed better...so please, stop this nonsense writers.
If WWWMSK and BP were father and son, then this would be the grandson....LOL Talk about being OTT, the 2eps left me in stitches that if it's gonna be like this throughout then count me IN. It's been a very long time I laughed from a Kdrama. Talk about some toxic comments here...Woah= Guys, chill and loosen up. It ain't that deep. Given the most serious stuff going on in SKorea (RIP Kim Sae Ron) ππ½ π’ π π We need this type of drama...or shall I say...I NEED THIS DRAMA!
Like everyone already said, the series is ajout little stories in one series so romance on some stories not ML yet. Things change when the FL character wakes up, so you see chemistry between the leads and Romance on last ep.
Itβs ironic how a show I discovered by chance ended up surpassing the one I had been anticipating for so long.…
Same boat my dear....I have been anticipating one A'list filled drama, only to be put off, tried this one unknowing of the plot etc, only to be hooked....such is life
Oh why oh why has it ended already π now I'm sad hehehe But seriously, it's easily one of my best mini series of 2025 so far and one of my personal best in forever. Everything was beautifully done and the last 2 eps. were full of horror, sadness, anger, angst, romance (and when I thought I will not get this one) and major chemistry. I loved to see A'Lai and Lu Na's relationship; from working together and their little flirtations and then romance. Given this was very short, I think the chemistry was good enough and the leads delivered. My only little criticism would be, I wish this drama had few more eps. so they can wrap up some of these cases nicely not feel rushed or leave things open. But then again, I'm just being selfish since I want to see more of A'Lai and Lu Na (why do I like the sound of these names). And I for one actually love the Ending, it leaves my imagination active and me theorising things etc.
Can someone explain the ending to me please? I think I understood but at the same time I didn't.
Honestly I think it's open to many interpretations and that's the beauty of this drama I guess. My personal gueses are: 1) it seems the fire was the catalyst of time travel not the lighter so perhaps A'Lai did disappear in that warehouse which explains the "Missing" report. And then, he finally went to Lu Na's era and establish a Publishing Company 2) Maybe there is an A'Lai in Luna's era unbeknown to her but the former is very much aware of her hence the two finally meet. It could be A'Lai is the time traveller and Lu Na had a long dream or vrs etc. 3) Or it could just have been Lu Na's dream all along that started with daddy long legs A'Lai who saved her when she was young That's just my theory...I don't know. All I know is I enjoyed this mini series soooooo much. And I'm just glad our OTP finally meet on equal wavelength and hopefully they have their HE.
OMG! What rock have I been living under to have nearly missed this little gem. This little series took me by surprise... Not gonna lie I went in for vain purposes (the leads are hot halo) and time to waste and yet little did I know the story would hook me in. So many storylines but my personal fav. are 1) Lily and Xiaobai - oh man, that last scene made me cry. I just loved them too much and credit to the 2 actors. Their chemistry was just beautiful to watch. 2) The Double - Talk about evoking all my emotions and that is this story. The hatred I had for LM and amount of sympathy I had for XT knows know bounds. The actress is a genius π π like Salute. I need to google her because she blew me away. 3) Father and son - Holy sh** and that's all I can say. Can I just say, actually I'm really liking Angela-baby's acting here but then again, she is my bias. I loved the scene she plays where she demands a Happy Ending to the writer. That was hilarious. Now I've got 2 eps left and I don't want this to end.
Wu An Kang is the third lead of this drama. So why didn't we see him in the first 4 episodes?ππ I think…
SAY IT LOUDER! He is such a Class Act and no offence, I will choose ZYC acting anytime compared to SD (1st ML). Why is he not getting more nuanced roles...I wonder.
Like it's been a while I've been this mad about a story before and so far this one is doing it's best. Like WTF is wrong with people π€―π€¬
