So to anyone who has watched all the aired eps. so far, please tell me WHY I should watch this drama. I tried to watch ep. 1 and in 15mins, the ML character is a doormat who gets bullied by his douchebag supervisor and then used again by his so-called friend 🙄 On the other hand the FL character is portrayed as someone who got her position because of her connections e.g. her husband and this is from the 2 buffoons next to her gossiping without any care in the world. Safe to say, the whatsh** face client have no ounce of respect for her at all. And I got this from 15 mins ....lmao Like what is this,....Like are we back in the 90's or early 2000s or what. It's 2023 and we have writers who still write this....wow Like I said, I'm judging this based on only 15 mins so I don't know the rest...and do I even want to know 🤔 = Not sure I thought I had graduated from doormate lead characters or damsels in distress....I guess not.
Ep. 14 and this is where I stop. OH how I hate the ML character's brother with every breath I take. But then the most frustrating thing is how Shan Shan just let him take advantage of him. And then my Hate n# 2 is LX's ex boss. All I can say is he is a psycho and needs to be locked up. Hate n#3 goes to Mr Stranger stalking LX...He is just creepy. So out of everyone, I only tolerate our leads and for me that is not enough to keep me for 40 eps. Sadly. For what's worth the is the only drama so far I have actually enjoyed watching Allen Ren's acting and character.
I was really enjoying this drama UNTIL Maggie magnet whatever her name is was introduced...actually shoved on us (incl. Siming) to my dismay. This trope of rich families forcing their children to marry for financial benefits is getting Too Old....like seriously. I'm on ep 15. and I'm deliberating whether to continue or not. I'm afraid my love for Olivia Wang and Jin Han is not enough to sit througb these silly plots.
I felt a little uncomfortable too. especially with how she asked Jungmin @ the hospital - episode 3 or 4 maybe.…
No, I don't think Dr Cha did anything uncomfortable. Considering what she has sacrificed for that family, that is the least her son has to do for her. As for the other one's tuition etc, I would say the bigger problem is the hiding part. Like for them to hide it, it means the cheating father doesn't agree and to me, he is the problem. The mom amd daughter needs to stand their ground and lower his ego. 🙄
I don't really like how Doctor Cha is treating her kids. She's making her other one uncomfortable at work and…
Oh Hell No...Dr Cha has done everything a mother should be (maybe even beyond) and it is that unconditional love towards her family that led to them treating her like a doormat including her kids. That bratty girl only knows to go to mom when she needs help with homework, needs her mask, to be dropped to school and meals etc but never once did we see her ask if her mom needs any support or better yet offer... So whatever you said about Dr Cha, I beg to differ completely cause that family is an ungrateful bunch and that woman has suffered enough.
i hate that darned husband soo muchhh already! But does she know that her husband is cheating on her with that…
No, Dr Cha doesn't know her husband is cheating on her with his first love. She is completely blind...well up until now (ep. 6). And yep, Dr Roy seems to have the hots for Dr Cha and he knows her husband is cheating (we got to know, he knew way early). Sorry, if I spoiled too much....hahaha
Re-solidifying my I can't be a stay at home mom/wife resolve!
Oh yeah, the housewife role is certainly not for me too. I actually think it's a skill and they are some people who are really passionate and good at it which is great. I'm just not one of them.
am i the only one who is pissed that seung-hi and the husband want her to leave and act as if she shouldn't be…
Not only entitled...they are so self-absorbed that they don't see anyone else. And that will also be their downfall to eachother since they are eachother's mirror.
I'm just going to say it...If in the end of this drama Dr Cha reconciled and get back together with her douchebag narcissistic husband, then I will QUIT watching Kdrama ( except BL genre) for 5 years. I will take it as a sign that I need to take a long break because all my kdrama hopes will be lost. So writers, please don't fail me...
What a pleasure this drama has been...It was a beautiful distraction indeed from real life mess. Would it have killed the writers to add 2 more eps. so we can have a proper ending without rushing...sigh SF and AN went from strangers, suspicion, financial aid to best of friends, sisters, work partners and now to be in-laws. It was so beautiful watching their relationship growing from strength to strength. Even though MM was despicable, I guess it took domestic abuse (which I do not accept) and family financial woes for her to get back her senses. And hopefully she becomes a better person. Now I really do not like how they dealt with the 2 most despicable evils. So PX whatever, gets to just stepdown and go on vacation whilst YWL gets to have a day or 2 of repentance and finally get in touch with humanity....boo-hoo Those two deserve HELL in real-time. Okay can I just pray for YWL to meet those vicious violent criminals in prison who will show him what exactly abuse is all about. And can PXR just die wherever he is on vacation please. Now this is the ending I wanted for these two. Nonetheless I love how it circled back to our 2 heroines looking very happy. SL in a wedding gown...LoL And poor YK...those kids will be the end of him...hehe OVERALL it's 8.5/10 for me
WOW...This drama is turning up to be my rare gem of 2023 so far. Well, to be fair, a drama that takes me out of my comment-retirement deserves praise. First thing though, QL is my bias...I just love the way she acts and her whole demeanour in her roles. It feels like watching that sister you admire and can't help but feel proud atst. Back to the drama...I gotta say the cheating husband trope is getting old. But then again, many husbands (and wives)are still cheating to this day in real life, so is it really old??🤔 What I love here is we've got 2 women on opposite ends of the spectrum who somehow found solace and camaraderie in eachother. I love that SF's discovery of AN's past did not put her off from being there for her throughout given her own experience with mistresses etc. There was no projection whatsoever and I commend her for that. AN is a very fascinating character and given her humble beginnings she fits in well nicely into SF's middle-class career woman style. The men here...Well I wanna beat up most of them especially SF's cheating narcissistic and abusive husband. This man deserve jail and hell (whatever comes first). I hate him with my innerbeing and it says a lot about the actor acting. Ofc AN's baby's bio-dad is another douchebag. The only silver lining here are the men at SF's workplace (her tech friend/partner cracks me up) and Mr Stingy on the block opposite SF office. To think this drama has 20ep only...Sigh.
Thank you all so much for your responses. I will give it another try and if it turns to be another little gem like you all seem to be saying then Cheers to me binging.....
Anyone kindly let me know if this is worth watching because, I have only watched the 1st ep but didn't get hooked. I love the leads actors but TSY's last drama (Master of my own) wasn’t my cup of tea hence the hesitation. So to those up to date, what do you think?

Well Said!
Need I say more = 🙅♀️

Definitely YK should have come sooner...hahaha
