Omg, this is the drama that's giving me all the LOL moments these days (Lord knows I need it). Our Queen is so much fun and I could watch JinFeng driving the Emperor crazy all day long. It's funny how the Emperor is so done with her and her antics but he also can't stop thinking about it and Her. Aiyoo, our Queen has really gotten under his skin for real. I just love Jackie Lee's comedic timing.
Love the way you are, pleasantly surprised me. Went into it with no expectations whatsoever except to pass up time but it has become more than that. I just love how the story of a woman in her early 30's juggling her personal life, overbearing father, work and a young hot brother is told. The beauty of this drama lies in it's simplicity with nothing too exaggerated or dramatic. Really went from trying to understand Yi Ke to now cheering her. And dare I say Angelababy is doing a pretty good job. And then we have Guang Xi who is just that perfect guy a girl can dream of. Yeah, I'm still processing the actor's age. His chemistry with Angelababy is remarkable and their romance is heart fluttering. When GX hugs Yi Ke, her body fits perfectly into his arms🥰 And thanks to this remake, I can at least let go of my anger of the OG evil mother. Although the dad is soooo annoying, but it seems he is redeemable after all unlike you know who. If there is one minor thing that bugs me it's the choppy transitions from scenes. Other than that, I love love this Drama.
Acting-wise no problem...I love all the leads and supporting cast. Buuuuut my anxiety lies with the story and the fact that it's a medical drama. Very rarely do Cdramas do this genre right so 🤔 🤷
Though I watched SITR, I wasn't thinking about it (since there's common things that happen in these type of dramas)…
If they finally get together, oh how I would love to be at their family events. Imagine introducing their relationship to nosy relatives. Like, so this is my son-in-law and daughter, and the mom will be like, and this is my son and daughter-in-law. And this is my husband and we are their parents... hehehe

Exactly, same as me. First 2 ep I was lost on why everyone likened it to SITR but at ep 3....I got the light bulb moment. I hate hate the evil mother in SITR...like she was soooo horible that I don't ever wanna experience her character again. I'm nervous because I'm seeing her character traits in Yike's father....
What's with this series being likened to Something in The Rain because I watched the latter and so far here I don't see the significant similarities. The leads set up might be a bit similar but then again in SITR the leads weren't related by their parents marriage whilst here they are. As for bad exes and workplace set up...well, that's common. I see this different from SITR. Am I missing something🤔 EDIT: Aaaah now on Ep. 3, I see some similarity.... My prayer is Not to have a crazy mom like SITR. The mother in the latter still infuriates me to this day.
Wow, I didn't see this coming but I am soooo happy for Jang Nara unni.. Congratulations! Getting married in your late 30's- early 40's is becoming the new normal (certainly in S.Korea) and I'm here for it. It's high time women fully embrace the idea that you can get to 30, 40, 50, 60 even 70 and still get the happiness that you wish for even if it's marriage. There should not be an age cap, those "left-over- women" silly comments etc on marriage. So seeing our beautiful JN taking this step to another happiness makes me happy too 🙂
hi I just wanna ask how long will the annoying ex-boyfriend try to go after the female lead and also is the ex…
Everything that @dooh said...No fear at all, this FL is like no other. She doesn't let the ex- mess up her life and go scott free. FL and ML do have little misunderstandings but they are not directly caused by the Ex- and there are easily resolved. They both know the ex- is a douchebag which makes for the fun. The leads never broke up and to be fair their relationship was one of the healthy ones I've seen in dramas; they communicate their thoughts and feelings. And the cherry on top os it's a Noona Romance. So basically, if your fears were around this alone, I would say, go watch it.
This has been one of the most enjoyable dramas for me with some of the Best FL characters. XJ is such a strong, independent, adorable and very sexy woman. She knows what she wants and do not waver. And pairing her with SX was the best thing ever...an OTP I never imagined and now cannot even imagine without....(shame on you those who thought ML is not suitable for the role or there is no chemistry etc...you'll need glasses). XJ and SX chemistry was sizzling. It had the right proportion of fun, banter, flirting and even smexy time. Those two will definitely last a very long time (that proposal..hehe). XJ and CR relationship was my other guilty pleasure. It is so rare to find someone who is completely different from you and yet gets you. And that's them. With all the trouble CR went through in her marriage and miracle pregnancy (WTH, writers), Lord knows she needs a village plus XJ by her side. As for CH, I had a love/annoying relationship with her but if there is one thing I loved about her character...it's how she realistically showed how hard it is to juggle marriage, parenting and work...kudos to working parents out there. The shortcoming of this drama for me was the Law side of things. For a drama that is based on law...I have no clue what those cases or law stuff they talked about. And I didn't care about most cases whilst I didn't understand the rest.
Up to ep 6 and I really really like it. I love Xu Jie's layered character. She is not perfect but a flawed human. Due to whatever she experienced in the past, she has built up walls around her to protect herself. Then we have Song Xui whom she never saw coming I think. SX is trying his hardest to crack those walls and she might not admit it, but he is definitely rubbing off her. I actually never imagined this pairing and now I can't see anyone else. I love XJ and SX's banter plus the latter doesn't back down which I find really hot...I bet XJ thinks so too...hehe I'm still not as invested in the FLs friendship or Chen Ran's story the same way but so far I love how they don't disrespect eachother just because they disagree on certain views. I could go on with what I love about this drama...so let me stop....huh
Okay, no doubt that many here inc. Myself and I love love this drama and probably started rewatching it (crazy, I know but it's really fun). Buuuuuuut ep 31 & 32 had a bit of lazy writing in my opinion. For instance, the scenes of finding Princess Chun Run a husband....Did the other suitors had to quit or lose just like that. I mean we all know who the finalists were going to be but couldn't the writer at least had made a better story🤷 I mean watching everyone else dropping out like flies and making way for Lanxi and Huang Chang was fun but really pointless. In ep. 32, I really didn’t understand 1) How BFX sect leader was so quick to tell YW everything about that jade with no ounce of hesitation whatsoever. I mean that jade is evidence and he finds out that it belongs to YW who happens to be from Yu family, who are associated with the soul taker group. And yet, he believed YW and told him everything. Tell me what was that because the Maths ain't mathing rn. Actually, I have been quite surprised by this sect leader's ready to trust anyone attitude and more so, how he managed to stay alive thus far. Then, talk about his daughter, Langhua...Honestly I want to say, I could see her do that given what we have known of her character but then again, I can't help but to feel the writer could have done better. These are some of the few points I felt could have have been written better in my opinion. I'm still enjoying the ride though, like I'm all for our OTP to rule this world.
You didn't need to create a fake profile just to drop hateThere are people here with some medical knowledge and…
WTF are you on about...fake profile who??? And Hate where?? Yes, the CPR is lousy but no hate at all. In case you missed the LOL aka a joke.... And I would make the same statement to any drama with that kind of CPR.
Okay, this drama has the most horrendous, terrifying CPR I've ever seen. After seeing that kinda of CPR, I would run away as fast as possible from this hospital then report it for total closure plus reporting the doctors for murder.....LoL The CPR the ML character does is not to save lives but Kill instead. But seriously though, if you're going to act a role of a doctor, can't you at least learn the basics🙄

But the actual drama airs on the 9th I think.
